Doesn't go like that.The set up when used as gen does not involve gear changing, clutch stress , having to carry heavy load etc , so it actually last longer when used as a gen, as a matter of fact: engines that can no longer drive a car effectively are better used as generator.They only need to turn an alternator in just a fixed gear speed not carry people. so they work less.

I remember I told my interviewers 60k after weighing the school structure, the man laughed and said even him doesn't collect 60k, he gave me his number to call him if I'm okay with 25k. After I calculated transport 5k and their 7 o clock resumption, I didn't even bother to call.

Got out from the office, others wanted to know how much I told them, kai, they laughed at me, and said the school doesn't pay up to 30k na. This is a school that collect 90k for tuition fee.

I can't just stop laughing at your posts.

That remittance is another serious issue. There was a day we went for remittance and the guy in charge said he won't collect it because there was no members tithe. My husband made him to understand that we have just 2 members and they don't have money to eat, talk more of paying tithe. The guy kept saying province will reject it, and blah, blah, blah. That he should just put like 200# as members tithe. My husband said he isn't putting a dime as members tithe. He told him to tell province to come and see his Parish.

One Parish in my area is a ghost Parish. They evicted them since 2 years ago, no Sunday service or weekly activities yet they do remittance every month. The pastor worships every Sunday at the area/zone.

My parish too, no weekly activities. We stay very far away. Using public transport, we board 3 buses.

Sometimes, I feel like talking and shouting about how they handle the work of God but I don't want them to feel we discuss church matters at home.

In our own scenario, Masha Surulere ll never get less than N200, 000 to create parish. That area ll not v over 10 parishes and they still create another smaller one with less finance and man power.

I m aware of the vision of creating churches within 5 mins walking distance. But in my Church's case, the parish pastor that created that lets go a fishing site and people like him who just create new churches without thorough physical exercises needs to be chastised. Cos more churches are still looking created that way. Omoba77, you can't cope in an area where RCCG is not needed. That area where my church is has over 10 RCCG. Except the funds & labour that are coming from myself and the three other people, we v gotten only little. The funds released to us and the one handed to us around Dec is not up to N200,000.

If you know what it takes to create a parish in a city, you ll be discouraged. This is 2018, not 1987 where you can start a RCCG church with Bible and bell. People want structures, equipments, etc. We are trying and trusting God. But little has been done. That area has excess RCCG churches, that's what amazes me every time.

I m writing to RCCG camp about our plight. It's like some Pastors create parishes just to get promotion/recognition.

1. Their ordination is political and done to favour some.

2. Transfer is also based on who you know. And some are transferred to punish and break them Some don't get transferred for 10yrs when in a juicy parish, while some get transferred every 2 months

3. Promotion is skewed and used to purnish the poor and not so liked. Being Rich or being able to lick people's ass will accelerate ur promotion times 3.

I hardly comment on Nairaland these days due to the invasion of kids and/or people who wanted to deliberately act stupid for likes and being infamous.
But I have to say something about this RCCG issues. This is a firsthand saying. My mum rented her land to RCCG in Warri and initially they agreed to pay yearly fees of which was being fulfilled. But suddenly there was a delay in payment and my mum ask them that despite their members, offerings, tithes and other donations, why can’t they pay their fees and the pastor told my mum that when the money is collected every Sunday, the elders get the total, take a share of the money to the HQ and give him the remaining for the Maintenance of the church. The little he is given can’t take care of church stuff nor pay rent that’s why he is struggling for rent.
My mum met the elders and ask why is it like that and they said it’s directions from HQ and they are powerless. One funny thing is they told my mum to sow the land to them and God will reward her well. Mum laughed and said God has already rewarded me by making me to buy this land, taking it from me, how will I feed my children?
Till today it is a battle for rent payment by a church whose net worth can be equated to billions of naira. I have decided that on my visit to Nigeria, I will go to the church on Sunday and during testimony will politely give the church 30 days to vacate the land else they will hear from my powerful lawyers who is not only well feared but he’s agnostic, so there won’t be sentiments in his duty.

You have said well. This issue is not a problem from daddy Go but from church growth officers and zonal pastors. They keep opening branches here and there just to brag about how many parishes they opened while at a particular province or zone.

OK, likewise my own parish, my husband and assistant pastor pay the rent, zone and province have refused to send money for payment. My husband has complained a lot too but nothing was done, he didn't have any option than to pay from his pocket.

The only problem I have with RCCG is opening mushroom parishes. Like my parish, I don taya to go there, it's 4 years now but it looks like we just started the place.

My husband is a parish pastor, he doesn't own the parish. Sometimes when Zonal pastor says, Lanre, your church, my husband will quickly correct him, that it isn't his church.

And my husband doesn't give 70% of his salary to church oo, he only pays his tithe. And any other dues that comes up once in a while.

I don't know how old that your friend is for her to be reasoning like that. Most of us were once like that when we were younger (teenager) . We actually tot it's the end of the world for a lady who has a baby outside marriage.
But now we know better, thank God for social media and the likes and also listening to motivational messages from single mothers
