I promise, I'll only read and wont reply back to your response(s) to my answer(s)

This is how arguments come about, and that's from exchange of opinions. I never do arguments and I prefer to state facts rather than give opinion(s) but on this occasion, will make an exception to that stance, so here goes:

1) In your opinion, was there anything that Jakande did wrong when he was governor (no ifs and buts) and can you explain what that thing was?
1/ In my opinion, and I am typing this with utmost respect, admiration and a heavy heart, I cant find anything that Alhaji Lateef Kayode Jakande, a simple, selfless, humble, public-spirited and/or serving others man did wrong when he was governor of Lagos State and because of no ifs and buts, then so, have no wrong he did, to explain about.
You mean him bastardising the robust education system of that era was a plus for him too. It shows you are partisan, and what has the ADP candidate achieve on his own before aspiring to be the pilot of a mega state like Lagos.

2) In your opinion, was there anything that Fashola did right when he was governor (no ifs and buts) and can you explain what that thing was?
2/ I know, to be a fact that Fashola did the right thing of trying to get off the albatross around his neck. Yes, I can explain that the albatross thing, is polithiefician land-grabber Tinubu. Ambode, tried too, but it cost him dearly, his second tenure. Unlike Fashola who survived, he didnt.
There is fire on the mountain, he is not just denied a second tenure but now is being told to resign or be impeached. Rubbing salt into injury

You have spoken well. I love your points and I was almost convinced but I remember that sometime back I was ready for Nigeria to break up. We move one step forward and two steps backward. At the rate we are going I think it is time for foreign intervention. The black man has no idea what to do with power asides from oppressing fellow citizens and looting.

Many hate America but I judge a man by his actions not by propaganda. The reason I believe in them is because of the way they treat their citizens. If you treat your kids well, I won't doubt your intentions when you also take care of other kids that are not yours.

I laugh everytime is hear America is after something especially from the Arabs or eastern countries. Na dem dey rush go America go live. War broke out in Syria and over 30,000 of them headed to Canada. Why not live in any Eastern or European nation? You ran straight to America and Canada? Who nor like better thing?

Nigerian government loots and takes money to America. Their family and kids dey America. Many Nigerian kids now have dual citizenship. So it's not a foreign matter again. We have stake in America and they have stakes here. smiley
They love their citizens and the government was shutdown for 35days, making life difficult for the people they swore to protect and serve all because of a stupid Mexican wall.

Most of the people there are youths who came to collect their own share of the campaign funds, it may not have much to do with Buhari as Delta have few completed federal government projects to celebrate.
Ibori despite being a convict had more crowd than this and it shows you where the pendulum will swing.
Ogboru could be the candidate to beat for 2019 when the Governorship will be zoned to his area, for now many Deltans want to respect the unwritten arrangement which has guaranteed relative peace in the state by allowing Anioma to go for a second term.
don't forget omo agege and uduaghan are contesting for Senate, that will definitely help the buhari cause

I am not happy with people opposed to the CJN trial. They are just confused. Why is he afraid to face trial if he is innocent. Nobody is above the law. He has no immunity and should prove his innocence.
Let us not make mistake in this country. There is a strong corruption in the judiciary. This is the reason why we are not making any headway in the fight against corruption. Mistake over this will affect this country for a long time.
People are saying NJC. NJC my foot. How can a case against the head of NJC be taken to the same NJC where he appoints almost all the members of the so called group.
The CJN should have known better. He should be an authority in legal matters. Let us keep sentiment aside.
it's like saying a corruption case against buhari should be taken to Fec or a case against saraki or Dogara should be taken to nass

Sen. Shehu Sani prediction of February presidential election
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Earlier today, Sen. Shehu Sani predicted that there is going to be a major upset in the coming February presidential election. He said this while speaking on Arise TV. Read his predictions based on geopolitical zone
.
Northwest: Buhari will win the Northwest but I don't think he will get the number of votes he got in 2015. A lot has happened in the Northwest like Zamfara, Sokoto & Kano state. It'll affect his vote. APC 60% PDP 40%
.
Northeast: It won't be easy for Buhari in the Northeast because one of their own is contesting. They have never had this opportunity since 1960. If you understand typical Nigerian politics you'll know that Atiku may take the day. I'll safely predict 50/50
Middle belt: Hmm! Even before Election, Buhari has lost two states already, which is Kwara and Benue states. The crises in this zone will give Atiku an edge. I will predict APC 40% PDP 60%.
.
South West: the South West is a major headache for the the APC. I think the election in Ekiti and Osun states is giving APC sleepless night. The mood there is different to what used to be in 2015. I'll predict APC 55% PDP 45%
.
South South: this area will be a walk over for the PDP. APC 20% PDP 80%
.
South East: This zone is always a No-go area for Buhari. I think the eastern people have issue with the the president as a person. The operation python dance in the east has further da the president reputation in the zone. The perceived marginalization of the southeasters under Buhari has also not help his cause. It's gonna be a massive win for the PDP. APC 10% PDP 90%
.
Mytake; If a Hausa Man Who resides in the core North can come up with this analysis, keep on ranting and Hero worshipping Buhari on Facebook 24/7. Ema wa alright!
And you think with this analysis PMB will lose..

JUST IN: See The Reason Why Lagos Is Called ‘City Of Excellence’! As 820 Air Conditioned Buses Redefines Transportation

While inspecting the assembling plant at Awoyaya in Ibeju Lekki area of the State which is also serving as the temporary holding bay for 500 out of the 820 buses, Governor Ambode expressed optimism that the buses would be rolled out after the elections, while the next phase of the project would be to assemble the buses in Lagos.

“This is an assembling plant. The dream is that beyond the procurement of 820 buses by government, the next set of buses in the vision should be assembled in Lagos in this assembling plant and another one in Epe.

“That is the dream and the whole project is scalable and in this scale right now, we would run with the 820; you have seen the maintenance workshops and all that, and then the next scale which is the next phase is for Nigerians to be able to assemble the buses in Lagos and then we create employment opportunities and also allow the GDP of Lagos to grow.

The buses are ready and we think with everything we have done, we should be able to roll out these buses maybe immediately after the elections,” he said.

The Governor said though the 5, 000 buses would not be enough for the State, but the government was showing good example and creating the conducive atmosphere to allow the private sector to come in and participate in the whole arrangement.

“What has happened is that government has gone ahead to procure these buses using its funds and the buses are being owned by a government company called Lagos Bus Services Limited (LBSL).

So, the LBSL will lease these buses to operators who would use the three depots at Oshodi, Anthony and Yaba to ensure that the buses are sustained and maintained properly so that they don’t get wasted before their lifespan expires.

“The idea is if we are able to show good example of which we have procured these buses with our own money, the private sector can join hands with us and start to procure those additional buses that will take it to 5,000, while government can also procure more and by so doing, we would have had assembling plant in Lagos and create job opportunities for our people.

“By the time you put these buses on the road, it will create jobs for drivers, engineers, technicians, and so on, thereby growing the economy of Lagos coming from the transport sector. Even president Buhari said it recently that Lagos State is even richer than Nigeria.

Zainab Ahmed: Yacht, private jet owners to pay luxury taxes from 2019
Oluseyi Awojulugbe in BusinessOn the Go

Zainab Ahmed, minister of finance, says owners of yachts and private jets will begin paying luxury items from 2019.

Addressing a press conference in Abuja on Monday, the minister said excise duties would be introduced in some areas while taxes would be reduced for small and medium enterprises.

“We are exploring the way to increase taxes as well as reduce taxes in some sectors. For Small and Medium Enterprises, what will happen is to reduce taxes. But there are some special taxes that we will be looking at imposing,” she said.

“For example, luxury taxes. If you have a private jet, we will be taxing you specially for that. If you have a yacht, we will be charging you for that and also in terms of excise duties, there are also some new areas where excise duties will be introduced.

“We haven’t got all the approvals but one of the major areas might be that of carbonated drinks produced in the country.”

According to Ahmed, the Whistleblower Unit has recovered over N8.5 billion and $465 million among others from the 1,051 investigations conducted from tips received.

“Based on verification outcome by the Presidential Initiative on Continuous Audit (PICA), we have also paid over 2,000 former workers of our defunct national carrier- Nigeria Airways Limited,” she said.

Patience Oniha, director general of the Debt Management Office; Mary Uduk, acting director general of the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), Babatunde Fowler, executive chairman of the Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS) were also present at the briefing to give an account of the activities of their agencies.
I think this is the way to go
