Woman at far bottom left, what’s her name? That’s the one I remembered plus Abiki Dabiri. The rest, nope.
PoliticsWho Was The Sitting President When You Last Left Nigeria? by RhinoChest(op):
Dear Nairalanders,

When Tinubu was pronounced president on May 29, 2023, it dawned on me that Obasanjo was the sitting president when I last left Nigeria.

Pure water then was N5

Coke was N15, Solo was N10, Gala N20. Yorghurt N25

No Wizzy nor Davido then, obv. It was Tony Tetuila, Daddy Showkey, Remedies, Baba Frayo, Daddy Fresh etc.

Daddy Showkey’s best song to me, that I still sing up till this moment in my bathroom is Tun le se…Somebody tun le se……….🎶🎶

Chico/Zeb Ejiro.. lol

I still remembered the fightings in the North back then. May the departed souls RIP..

Series on TV then was Baba Ajasco, Super Story, Fuji House of Commotion etc

The main telecoms were MTN, Econet and I think Starlink

All my female crushes wore Apoche textiles at the time. Lol

I would go game shops with my best friend at the time after school to go play FIFA.. N10 per game if there is light.. If that Calabar man back then had to on Generator, he would charge us N15..lol. We would beg him for one more free game session if we ran out money. Most times, he agreed. Lol

I would go Under-bridge in Ikeja back then as a school boy to buy all kinds of DVDs, including Yano….lol Although, those Clifford Orji’s posters used to scare me back then..lol

Since then, never been to Nigeria. Pls don’t ask me why.

So who was the last sitting president when you last left Nigeria?

To those who have always lived in Nigeria, when I come back, will I meet a Nigeria in a better or worse state?
