No one is saying, OIC is a threat to christains or that it is harmful in anyway. All we re saying is, what economic benefit is accruing to the nation as a result of our being a member of this organisation. Maybe if u highlight the benfits, we might be more receptive to the idea.

U mentioned getting a $10m grant, the question is how much subscription have we paid since we joined the organisation? Am sure it exceeds the amount of grant u claim we re getting. Think the problem we Nigerians is that we dont empathize with others (we dont put ourselves in the shoes of others). Had u been a christain or a pagan, would you have supported the idea of your nation paying subscription to a muslim organisation, from our hard earned revenue, with no visible benefit accruing to you from this organisation.

My point is this, OIC IS NOT IN ANYWAY A MINUS to Nigeria, but it adds no value to me as a non-muslim. Hence, I should not be forced into making any form of financial contribution to the organisation.
