if u think those senators are out to change things for the better, then u must be dreaming. Even if we call them from now till kingsom comes, they would end up doing what they want i.e emptying the treasury. What has become of the FOI bill? but passing a bill to increase their salaries/allowances was quite easy. Dont be deceived, salvation for this nation wont come from Abuja. It is when u and I make them realise that we want this nation to progress and that we would do anything to get this, that is when things would start changing.

Believe me these guys (those in government at the moment) are satisfied with the status quo, infact their prayers is that it shd remain the same forever. No amount of fone calls or emails would solve anything.

Interestingly though, we all know what the solution is, but we keep 'beating round the bush' and 'keep going round in circles'

Was difficult getting a grasp of what u wrote, but 1 point i got clearly that all old politicians with no positive contribution to the Nigerian state be discarded. This point I fully agree with.

Y on God's earth is anyone exchanging words with this Mpele guy. Isnt it obvious the guy is one of these drug addicted, xenophobic southafricans.

Read thru his posts and you would agree with me that his IQ level is well below that of an average Nairaland poster.

And by the way, y is the average balck southafricans so intellectually dull?

Foreign AffairsRe: Should Obama Have Picked Hillary Clinton Over Biden As His Running Mate? by RibaduFan(m): 8:10am On Sep 11, 2008
America is definitely not yet ready for a black president and a woman VP. That would have been too much of a shock.

It is like saying an Ibo president with a Yoruba VP in Nigerian.

Has to be one at a time.

The choice of Biden is perfect. The hike in McCain polls is temporary, it is expected after very convention.
