i think its part of human nature or may be it's our animal instinct that wants see gory things once in a while.
you will notice that crime stories with "graphic photo" caption always have more views than general crime stories even when sometimes the ones without photos are more brutal..

if you have being following nairaland lately, check the thread where boko haram killed large number of people (without photo evidence) with the ones that has photos, you will realize that the latter has more views than the former.

so, taking pictures, or viewing graphic photos is not only a nigerian thing. it is worldwide thing.. the fact that the crimes or horrible death rate is at minmum level in advance nations is the reason why you think it's only nigerian thing.

take the uk rigby case for example, people were taking picture and recording videos while they watch a terrorist butcher someone one the street. same with some of the school shootings in usa.

1) The major responsibility of a president is to provide security his/her pple..let's be frank, GEJ has failed @ that

2) Corruption is @ a level that has never bn xperienced in the history of nigeria and the corrupt ones don't hav any reason to regret their actions...cos they always go unpunished

General Muhammadu Buhari is known to be a man of integrity..with zero tolerance for corruption..a General that achieved so much wen he was stil active in service. Take him out of APC and u ll hav a bunch of thieves...M sure u can see the PDP campaign team trying endlessly to discredit him with trivial allegations all to no success..this is jst for the fear of bn punished for the crimes they ve commited

the points you raised are the reasons why i said jonathan is clueless in my initial post...
now, why did jonathan failed in all these points you raised? simple, because of people he sorrounded himself with... which are pdp goons.

security for example, you dont expect jonathan to go to sambisa and fight boko haram, but whenever he allocates money for security, these same people he sorrounded himself with, embezzeled the money but he couldnt prosecute them because these are the people that helped him into power.

same with corruption and the rest of the points you raised.

a president cant just do it alone he needs the same people in the party they brought him to power or he will fail woefully.. atleast, thats one thing have learnt from vote jonathan and not pdp saga.



now to buhari, do you expect a buhari to prosecute someone like tinubu or amaechi? do you expect him to reject those nominated by tinubu to be ministers even if they are known thieves? do you expect him to probe those 5 governors that defected to apc? heck no. those people will still form integral part of his government.

the only reason i will consider buhari over a certain jonathan is because im tired of pdp's corruption not because i think buhari is the messaiah or apc is the savior ... i believe jonathan will perform better without pdp, but is it possible to have just jonathan without pdp?

until we start having candidates without party affiliation, the mess will still continue.
