I think govt needs to urgently take action against private schools mandating parent to purchase text books for their wards.

I remember while growing up.

You can easily go to any book shop and buy text books recommended by the school. Then if your money is nit enough, you can buy second hand been sold in the market or you can borrow from someone who passed through the same class and use the book.

Now what these schools do is that they customise the text book in such a way that assignments and class work are been done inside the text books, this way the book can't be reused. Even if you have siblings in same class, they can't share the books. That way every year, text books must be bought.

This is putting too much pressure on parents who have multiple wards in private school.

I just saw the cost of books of one private school, almost 70k, just for books.

This country is just becoming something else.

If not because of looking for trouble and trying to cause unrest, why will some muslims want to float hisbah in a state like Plateau.
