Women and evul towards children not their own is too much. I think its naturally built in every woman. Its only few that can control it.

I once visited a home where the madam of the house dont allow the maid to sit on the chairs in the sitting room. The maid has a small stool that she sits on or she sits on the ground. But the children of the house will be jumping on the chair and the woman is cool with it. This same maid is the one cooking for the house and bathing her kids. So if shes too dirty tom sit on the chair, how come shes clean enough to cook for the house.

You have a solid point. You literally are talking about trade and commerce. However, there are many sectors to an economy. There're health sector, banking sector, manufacturing sector, logistics, mining sector, among others. These sectors need manpower that can only be filled by those with education and vocational skills.

So, let people pursue their desired dreams.

All these sectors you mentioned in Nigeria, only few pays well for someone to leave a comfortable life, leaving the remaining ones who are working to be managing monthly in month out.

You might be happy to have found the job of your dream, but at the long run when family have arrived and expenses are waiting, you will discover that this life is not all about chasing the job of your dream when there are bills to pay.

Also if you are working and you retire... What are you leaving for your children. Unlike those who have a striving business that can be used as a stepping stone for their children.

The 1-2m some people earn as monthly salary are what some business men make in a week or less. Some make that in a day or 2.
Why you need to learn from someone is so that you will understand the basics and within that 2 years of learning, you would have made friends with some Customers who will patronise you when you start. That alone is enough push to greater heights.

For those of you who say they need to work so that they can generate enough capital to start business. It's not always that easy as most of the time, the salary you are been paid will just be enough for your daily leaving, except like I said before, you got a work in a multinational company that pays above 700k monthly.

When you get a job that pays below that, you maybe feeling comfortable when you are still single but after marriage, that's when you begin to feel the pressure. And to make the matters worse, most Nigerian company don't offer clear career growths. They just keep their staff on same level and salary for 5 to 10years. Inflation alone will erode your salary.

I started working almost 10 years ago, I have moved from earning in 5 digits to earning just a little bit short of 7 digits. Truly truly, I have grown well and I thank God for that, but for me to achieve this massive growth that I have made, I have to be leaving on budget monthly. Even currently, I still leave on budget. Then when I compare myself to my friends who entered business around that 10years ago, I am no where near them. In fact in terms of networth they are like 10x more than me. Currently am trying to set up a business, because of the nature of my work, I dont have time to learn under someone. Because of family, I can't unanimously resign from work to learn under someone. I have been trying few things and failing, but in each failure I learn and gather experience, soon I will open a physical location as the few am doing without a location have been progressing. These factors, family, time and probability of failure is why you need to learn a trade while you are still under the cover of your parent/guardian.
