Depends on the village sha... Some people get list by proxy. Maybe if you know someone that recently married from the village, you reach out and collect list. My own list was sent to me via WhatsApp. It was on the day of the trad that my wife's brother gave me a photocopy.

Look for an elderly man in the village and report to him. In most villages, seeing list is free except the intending husband decided to drop something. When I got my own list, it was my wife brother who photocopied and gave me. You can get the list from anyone. Politically, Nigeria is not gone. In fact, our political structure has really improved these days. But if you’re still waiting for the government to tackle kidnapping in this country, then you’re not yet used to the system because kidnapping and politics are like 5 and 6. The government can’t separate the two; only the masses can, if they’re truly ready.

I can't count how many people I know directly or indirectly that have been kidnapped while travelling. A good number of them didn't make out alive. So wch is better, travel and risk dying violently or stay put and probably die peacefully.

Nigeria is gone... Govt can't do anything. Best is for citizens to be proactive and protect their self.

I keep asking, why on earth will you travel inter state especially on route where kidnappers are having a field day. Why?

I came across this Facebook post this evening and it reminded me of my ex.
