Kindly download Microsoft Visual Studio, Adobe Dream Weaver. These are the two basic software that we will use as they are user friendly and help to complete and correct errors.
They are virtually the same, so its ok to have one of it, preferable Visual Studio. But it be out of place if you have the two.

Also, get Adobe PDF Reader as most files that we might be sharing will be in PDF format. Though these days, browsers comes with PDF reader.

See guys, whatever you want to go into, I will advice to start with web design, then move into whatever aspect you want to go into.
For web design, you begin with frontend before back end.
Web design can be divided into three: frontend, back-end and database
Front end is the part people can see and it includes html, css and any of Java, javascript, python, php, C, C++ C#
Back-end includes: php, python, nodeJs, Java and their frameworks
Database include mongoDb, SQL etc.

I will advice you to download html and css courses of netninja from YouTube or buy his course on udemy, you can also get for Jonas schetman on udemy. These are good teacher.

But it all depends on what you want to learn and your goal for learning it.

We can do this by picking a topic/course to learn during the week, then gv assignment that will be submitted at weekend either on saturday or sunday. We can meet virtually through zoom or watsapp for about two hours, to discuss the assignment, make corrections, adjustment and also to check our progress. Then select the next topic and assignment for the coming week.

Each week topic and assignment will not be too demanding. We will make it in such a way that if we spend an hour a day learning and practicing, one can be able to meet up and complete the assignment before weekend.

Though I dont know if this is the right section to post this thread, but I brought it here anyway, hopefully to meet the right audience.

Over time, I have been trying to learn web developemnt, its getting to a year plus that I made up my mind to learn it, but I havent made any reasonable progress at all.

My tight job schedule and lack of motivation have been a key barrier towards it. Now I believe that if I have like minded people who share same goal with me, we could encourage one another and achieve something meaningful.
