baby124:The bolded eh.... |
ImaIma1:This is great... Am definitely showing him this post. Thumbs up. |
amanda2013:lol.... I like your comment. It reminds me of what my mum always say to us. Before you get married, ensure you have considerable amount of money that you will use to take care of your wife during pregnancy. Am even getting "scared" sef. Cos am planning on getting married and seriously I cant really put up with the pressure that this guy is passing through. We usually close late from office and when he comes back home.... The wife will be bugging him to go get something. Its really stressing. |
ImaIma1:This is a guy I know very well. With the demands his wife is making, he cant support such with his salary. And sometimes, the wife seems to be black mailing him of not caring for her, whilst its cos the money is not available. |
LadyD22:Wait... you mean ladies on periods experience such too? |
Ruby458:Ok... Am now getting it. So once the hormones come, the "thirst" needed to be quenched. |

Continued... He has been coming to me for small small money to buy these things. Even yesterday, he came saying that the wife wants to eat vegetable soup and pounded yam, after he has finished preparing swallow, though if different soup. Am beginning to pity the young man cos you can see the stress all over his face. I still reiterate my question. How do you ladies feel when you are unable to get what you are craving for. Do you fall sick or what? Or if you are craving for food A and you were giving food B, cant you be able to manage it, or is it a must that you will have what you crave for. |
Greetings to you all. To our dear ladies in the house, the cravings that comes with pregnancy, what happens to your body or how do you feel when you are unable to eat or drink what you were craving for. Prior before now, I have been hearing of how men have issues with their wives due to cravings. A lot of the time that couples come to our marriage counseling, some of the problems that occur were as a result of cravings by the wives and wanting the man to prepare or go out to get the things for her. I have been hearing it from a third person perspective. Now it's happening to my friend and almost every day he comes to me to get small money to buy something for his wife. This my friend's marriage is about 6 months, and the wife is pregnant. Now this is a cool headed guy that don't have the heart of saying no to request. Everytime, the wife is asking him to get her something or prepare something for her. Now this guy is working as a contract staff in my place of work and his salary is not up to 70k. Every evening the wife wants him to buy food for her, even when there is food at home. And what the wife is requesting for is not what you will buy with 500 naira. We are talking about 1.5k-2k. Now considering his salary and when you factor in cost of other family logistics, there is no way that he won't run into debt. |
Thinkam:Things are really spoiling... Them go have sense soon. |
ChoCho54:We are not calling for state police or state military. What we want is to know the criminals in army uniform. Am sure you heard the news in South West when the youths of a certain village chased out Fulani herdsmen then the military came and flogged the villagers. Sure if the military are from that state or vicinity, they won't try such cos they are known. |
Goldbw122:A lot is going on. How come we can't fish out criminals that are leaving among us. |
Ijoh:What is this one saying... Go to delta state and see the havoc herdsmen are committing there. |
immortalcrown:At least, if they are from the state and locality, the people will know who they are and getting them out after committing a crime won't be difficult. |
First of all, my condolences to the Catholic family in Ondo, my condolences to Owo people and my condolences to the people of Ondo state. It's has been reported times without number that the military are aiding bandits and Fulanis to perpetuate crime in different states in Southern Nigeria. Even in the northern part, such reports have been stated severally. What am suggesting is that, let the Nigeria Army and the Defence HQ of our military redeploy every member of the army back to their state or geopolitical zones. That way let's know it's our brother that is protecting us or coniving with criminals to attack us. Remember the video of military attack in South East where the soldiers were shouting "everywhere wuta wuta", we all know the region where those guys are from. Let the military redeploy every soldiers to his region, let's know who are the enemies. We can't have southerners being killed up north in the name of fighting Boko boys while the northerners are down south protecting their brothers who commit crime. Go to every barrack down south, you will see thousands of Hausa Fulani youths with no official affiliation to the military residing in the barrack. Will the military authority accommodate such number of southern youth to reside in barracks with no official military connection or relation who is in military up north. |

With the recent happening in northern Nigeria on the issue of blasphemy and after going through this thread https://www.nairaland.com/7128270/these-red-lines-must-not , somethings came to my mind that needed clarification. TheOP mentioned 5 red lines that shouldn't be crossed, else it's an invitation to violence. Now I want to pick on two of the red lines let the OP and his fellow Muslims enlighten me. First of all... Redline 1. On the issue of insulting Allah. Over the last 15 years in Nigeria, we all have seen how boko haram have used the name of Allah to perpetuate all forms of evils in this country. Even at the point of killing an individual light a goat, they still call on Allah. Isn't that enough insult to Allah, how come we are not seen mob of Muslim youths heading to sambisa forest to kill and lynch boko haramist in the name of blasphemy. Redline 5.... On the issue of desecrating or destroying the mosque. Times and times we have heard the news of how bandits have invaded mosque during prayers and kill/kidnapped people. Isn't that the highest form of desecration, but yet we haven't seen mobs of Muslims heading to the forests to fish out bandits for desecrating the masjid. We haven't seen Muslims leaders calling out bandits for desecrating mosque. Yet, if Una see one small post for social media, you guys will be threatening thunder and fire. |
Peter75:Am interested.... But let's see pix of your products. |
We have shouted time without number, any one who is still supporting ipob/wan/ugm/Simmon ekpa does not mean well for the people of South East. See how they have turned Anambra and Imo to a start of anarchy. Police can't work effectively, robberies killings kidnapping every where. The statistics from my place of work have shown that transaction flows from those areas have drastically reduced. At a time when we'll meaning Igbos hv started coming back home to invest, this is happening. Who will come again. Go to nnewi now and see how people are migrating out. Keep supporting evil, by the time things will calm down, aside from banking job, there might no be other jobs for our youths to do again. The annoying part is that those of us who tried to condemn it here in nairaland are been called names. Make Una continue, e go reach everybody. Another thing that annoy me again is that when the ugm are planning on attack, all these miscreants will be hailing them, but when they carryout the attack and there were casualties, the miscreants will now blame it on DSS. |
What sort of news is this. Una knw how much banks made last year alone. Except greedy banks that just want to sack for no reason, there is nothing like lack of profit. Some banks made as high as 180-200 billion PAT last year. |
Traditional ruler abducted... The Muslim north won't come out to protest this. They won't block roads or visit govt house to show their displeasure on insecurity. But if it's one innocent person that caused no harm, they will mobilize their self and march like ant moving in the wilderness. What a country we leave in. |

"we prefer our enemy carrying an axe, not a child." "I am Durotan, chieftain of the frostwolf clan, and I am here to kill Gildan." |
cocolacec:See a lady in that second pix. |
Look at the second pix.... Is that not a lady trying to hit the victim. |
Yampotatocarrot:You want it to get to FP when there is no picture of a lady displaying her pant**s... |
Devilagentcap:How e wan take go FP... It doesn't talk about portable or Tonto dikeh. Anything sensible and morally uplifting doesn't get to FP in this our forum. |
iezeiyida:What you said is the reality. Parent these days are passing responsibility to Thier young children. And if the children can't make a legitimate income to support Thier parents, they resort to negative vices. As a parent even if your child is not living large or bringing money home, once you notice her with any property or gadget that is expensive and wasn't bought by you, it's your parental duty to ask and know how he or she got it. You see a child that is still in secondary sch having a big android phone and we all know that having an android phone is an extra cost on its own cost of data usage and the rest. Yet a parent will just fold hand and watch the kids. |

In as much as I understand the point that the OP is trying to pass, it's also good we know that times have changed and money can be made easily with the right info and tools. It's probably she's an online freak that's makes money out of the internet. The bottom line is, let parents investigate the source of their children's income instead of enjoying the wealth that they don't know how it came about. MODIFIED: The obvious truth is that parenting have failed in this generation. I knw a girl who is not up to 18 years, she left her state of residence and traveled to Abuja. Day in day out, on her Watsapp status, you see her in big hotels, clubs, cruising, eating and drinking expensive things and showing off online. The parent haven't done anything about it. And am sure her parents know about it. Cos this girl have a sister who is on Watsapp and seeing all her status up date. How can you as a parent not care about the location of your daughter and what she's doing. I also know a woman whose two daughters are always posting their semi nude bodies dancing on Watsapp status. Anytime you check their status, it's a video of them dancing almost naked. One of the daughters have even dyed her hair yellow and they sleep in the same house with the parent, yet the parents allows it in the name of freedom and modernity. What morals will these girls teach their future children. In our time when we were growing up, who born you say you go dye your hair, or say 7pm knack, and you never come back house But now it's a normal thing to see small small boys on dreadlocks and ladies on dyed hair staying late up to 12am in clubs and they will go back home and knock on the door and their parent will open it with a welcoming smile. My friend once said that "in the next 10 years, there might not be a responsible boy or girl available for marriage." |
virginprincess:Babe wedding can hold without the presence of anyone. As long as the sponsor/witness is present. |

. Her husband said if he should die going there to get it for her, she will never eat bush meat for the rest of her life. That she should crave something close by.
