For a Man whose little daughter was body shamed shouldn't be doing this. To say a woman is ugly is very hurtful. They may not have the stomach to swallow it like men because their appearance means alot to them. For your sake and the happiness of your future partner, stay away from such word. She will never forgive you if you do. Richdad |
God bless Osage for doing us proud. Nigeria is not worth dying for. Our situation justifies Jehovah's witnesses stand of not pledging allegiance to a country. |
A great Man |

Our young men and women now stay awake all night on Twitter with hope of getting 'give aways'. The country has never been this hard through out history except during the war. A good government is a beacon of hope for its people but a bad one burns away the peoples spirit. Richdad |
I have been married for years, had kids, but never for one day have I shown my family on Social media. We go on vacations, hold special events, great times and memories unforgettable yet we keep the pictures in the cloud not status or timeliness. The kids have it in their tabs and we all cherish these moments with all our hearts. Son, if you must build a family, then you must understand the principles of relationships. A relationship built on public awareness will enjoy the goodwill of all but may miss the goodwill of one; your partner, the most important of all. Too carried away by the likes and accolades of people, you seldom know when your partner suffers emotionally but a private couple looks out for eachother's dip and rise in emotions. Drop the tabs, pause the data for a while when together. Enjoy eachothers company as though it were your last. Seek her approval and not the likes and enjoy the moments each passing day. Memories stored in the heart are easily retrieved for life's happiness for the heart is the greatest memory card of your life. Richdad |
Traditional Rulers are one of the reasons why Nigeria is where it is today. These men carry a dark cloud over their communities and clan. They interface with wicked and demonic spirits to oppress their people. Many towns in Nigeria that did away with traditional rulers or faded them gradually into oblivion began to experience socioeconomic change and prosperity. The one that retained the ancient landmark remained backwards till date. Your great grandfather's with all the traditions and rituals kept never saw science Richdad |
Everyone is now an online reporting journalist and trending machine. They just want to be the first to post negligent of facts. A zoo that has existed before your fathers. You go to weddings and every single person on a round table is busy taking selfies. No one is chatting or acquitting, no one is making friends. Richdad |

The proceeds from crime never settles in a belly. If you want to cheat, make sure you cheat death, not people. If you must lie, then lie down to sleep, but don’t lie to people. If you need to beg, then beg God for forgiveness, don’t beg people for money. And if you are must boast, boast only of God’s love for you. Dont be in too a hurry to make a bad wealth. Practice the art of regularly thinking alone. Ideas are shy. They won’t come to you if you're always surrounded by people. Leave your phone. Take a notepad. Go to your closet, pray, then meditate and 'ideate'. As you 'ideate', God will fill your mind with wealth bringing ideas. Richdad |
Everything to a typing idiot on Nairaland is play and always play. Like a pig prepared and bathed for an event, she will eventually swin in mud if she sees one. vibre: |

This crisis made me realize one difficult truth which is We love ourselves and brothers as Nigerians. You can see the passion and willingness to fight and avenge the treatment being meted on our fellow compatriots. One thing is clear, our elites have sold to us hatred and sectionalism but deep in our hearts, we haven't forgotten our brothers. When the people rose to build the Tower of Babbel to touch the heavens, even God called the others and said, if we let them, they will build it thus, he scattered them with many languages. The power of Unity is a compelling force of action. Like a covalent bond, which involves electrons pairing between atoms, a stable balance of attractive and repulsive force is attained. Strong enough to withstand the daily and strategic divisive plots of the elites. Richdad |
When I see young people take the road outside this country not to sell drugs, engage fraudsters, or wash toilets, I feel so happy. Young minds should explore dreams and opportunities outside this hell. You got age, stamina, strength, agility, temperament, focus, vision, all in your possession. I haven't seen any reason why you should be here in Nigeria. Pursue scholarships, write Grants, apply for sponsored seminars and conferences, socialize, volunteer, and bang every good door outside your country till one opens. Opportunity of a lifetime must be seized in the lifetime of the opportunity. If Nigeria eventually begins the process of restructuring, developing policies, and harnessing transparency and transformation, it will take an average of 15 years to gain stability and see results. At that time, your youthfulness would have gone. I feel for you. Life is not in the amount of breath we breathe, but in the moments that take your breath away. When you go above 50, your achievements in any field of endeavor becomes your moments to relish. They form your core strategic source of happiness. Find life and in so doing, discover happiness. Richdad |
The Elites in Nigeria should be very afraid. This is a dress rehearsal on what will befall our leaders for years and decades of negligence and inhumanity against it's own people. The Uprising! Winter is Here! Little by chance, I am beginning to have a deeper view of what may be coming. People are angry and disappointed with the response. They will rise. I have never in my history seen a collective display of anger and disdain by the people. It went beyond Twitter rants. It quickly transformed. If the attack becomes coordinated, there will no country. Richdad |
Hailing corrupt politicians while your compatriots are being massacred is distasteful and stupid. I don't know what is happening to this people that call themselves future generation. femijunior4: |
If you see him face to face now you will be greeting him Daddy and explaining all your family troubles. See small boy hiding behind Nairaland. Compound Idiot! Denikayan: |
The only identity Kwara has is the Sarakis'. If you withdraw it, there will be no Kwara. Known for nothing except the school UniIlorin. A rusty state. Overrun by Usman Dan Fodio, enslaved and islamised, a once prosperous and rich people sold their identity for turbans. It will not be well with their fathers that entered such arrangements. Richdad |
The children of the elites marching against xenophobia will not change the vast majority of archaic and ruthless poor south Africans who hate Nigerians with incredible passion. Apartheid crushed the esteem of many south Africans leaving them directionless, angry, timid, intimidated, paranoid, and lost to reality. It is a fundamental societal problem entrenched in deep hate. An average South African is not smart. They rarely do well in school, mostly talentless except in dancing. Oppressed economically by the majority Indians and Europeans, they resign to afflict their sympathizers. What a wicked nation. Richdad |
Saraki has over 60% shares in Shoprite. Trump's approach would have been simple but decisive. You cannot touch an American citizen abroad and your diplomats will be called for a brief meeting but lengthy press conference. Shameful! Admit it! your president is weak and docile and even an ordinary hooligan in SA knows this. Richdad |
Just look at his Sahel desert forehead. I like the United States foreign and trade policy of reciprocity. An equal measure or more for every animosity by a foreign government. Our propensity for diplomacy in the event of any international disagreements is Nigeria's biggest weakness. We must adopt a reciprocity approach to foreign antagonism. We must have a principle on foreign interest and a nationalistic and patriotic posture. The truth is we cannot give what we do not have. A president who cannot protect its own citizen at home cannot protect those outside its shores. A country with IDPs the size of Gambia cannot be seen as strong enough by foreign diplomats and international players. A sick president rings a bell of a sick nation. So much is wrong with us.
