One of the keys to unlocking the blessings is honour.. Anyone who birth you possesses the power to bless or curse you effectively, unchallenged even by the devil except God. When you honour your parents, you unleash from their bosom the blessings reserved only for the children who honour.

The North have long maintained areas of strategic interest in the affairs of governance which helps in projecting their strength and sphere of influence. These areas include Oil&Gas, Security, CBN, Civil Service and Government. In civil service, they are more than willing to let other tribes be the Jackies while they head departments and units

I like inter tribal marriages especially between Igbos and Yorubas. It will survive if you stick to these basic principles I have taught young couples for many years.

* Never speak your language with family, relatives, or friends in your partner's presence or within his/her hearing space. And if you must do, speak interchangeably with a language he or she understands. This will enable your partner understand the pattern of conversation thus removing the idea she is being talked over.

*Encourage learning eachother's language and ethics like greetings and courtesy.

*In the situation of extending help to family and relatives, with the exclusion of friends, offer to give on behalf of the family to her people and vice versa. This will strengthen her confidence before your people and yours with hers.

*Finally, withstand and shutdown quickly any show of disrespect to your partner by family and relatives. Because your partner is not from your tribe, he or she may associate any form of hostility no matter how minute on the notion of not being among. You must protect him/her physically, psychologically, and emotionally.

A lot of people are battling depression in Nigeria, if we were white facing this hardship 70% would have been gone now: so sad they both took what they considered the easy way out never to know what tomorrow would have brought. Without challenges maybe life won’t be so interesting, it only makes you stronger. Hard time would pass if you remain strong. Only the strong survives especially growing up in Africa, trust me if your weren’t strong maybe mosquitos would have killed you before you even turned 4.

Very shameful and disgraceful of the institution to have publicly call out young men/women for a not so noble act yet you have a President who is in a certificate battle.

If you read and it is not entering your ogbon(brain), relax, take a break and pray. Ask God for clarity and understanding. You will be amazed the next time you open your books. It has worked for me for decades.

Friends, the principles to clear cut understanding and retention begins with a regular exercising of the brain. The brain isn’t a muscle, but it behaves like one. The more you use it, the more it grows. So read books, meditate on them and your brain will open up to endless possibilities.
