Nigeria is the largest producer of cassava. How on earth should we be importing gari into our market? We are not encouraging our industry to grow at all. Umudike and IITA should have better technologies for the processing of cassava into gari than importing from India.

Violence in marriage and the increasing rate of divorce and separation will not decline in the society simply by punishing offenders. Relationships have to be done God’s way for there to be a difference. We should also learn from our forefathers i.e the old cultural marital pattern that we have labelled as old school. Both emphasize patience, sacrifice, premarital abstinence from sex, personal development and grooming for the couple, investigation of family background and mutual respect. I opted for the first option i.e God's way, because as fine as the old cultural way is, it accords little or no respect for the woman but God's model gives life to both parties. If what we have now, the new concept of marriage that is powered by western civilization is all, then I think it is best left for the trash can.

I was in ekiti during the election and i told people around me that the most terrible decision ekiti people will make during that period was to vote for fayose, because i can't imagine why a so called state of professors will place a governor with no intellectual ability in any area, above other candidates with great intellectual ability in law and politics. One can't underestimate the benefit of getting married to a born again girl. The spiritual support she'll give her husband and family is priceless, but sometimes I kinda wonder if her very spiritual side won't end up creating less affection and make the marriage less fun(romance-less) in the long run.

The leader of the All Progressives Grand Alliance in Lagos State has called on eligible Igbo voters in the state to cast their votes for the Peoples’ Democratic Party in protest against the hate remarks by Rilwanu Akiolu, the Oba of Lagos.Campbell Umeh-Nzekwe told PREMIUM TIMES in an interview, Tuesday, that Igbo residents in Lagos stand a better chance of fulfilling their potentials under the PDP than the All Progressives Congress, APC.“Since PDP has given us opportunity by allowing Ndi Igbo to win (three) House of Reps and go to Abuja and defend Igbo interest and Lagos interest, because we are all Lagosian​s​,” said Mr. Umeh-Nzekwe, who contested for governor in Lagos State in 2003.“Then I’m of the candid opinion that it’s better you support what you are having. Except APC are now coming again on the table to tell us what they will offer us if they win.“There must be bargaining power in between. Here is the corpse of Modupe Olaiya,  killed at Efon-Alaaye today by rampaging APC Lawmakers led by Dr Adewale Omirin. Thugs and armed policemen in the lawmakers bus opened fire at the people at Efon-Alaaye junction on their way to Ado-Ekiti today.
The lawmakers were coming to Ado-Ekiti from Osogbo, State to carry out their evil plot to impeach Governor Ayodele Fayose. (Photo after the cut is graphic)
Sources at the scene said a member of House, Hon Gabriel Ogundele fired the shot that killed Modupe Olaiya.

The lawmakers convoy was blocked by angry youths and Soldiers at Ita-Awure before they were ordered to return to Osogbo.
