This is about a girl I met early last month, we started chatting and calling, having fun on phone had sex etc... I never had any feelings for her cause of the numerous guys I see with her, Later on she started telling me deep stuffs about herself and how the relationship she was in failed her to some extent. First I had pity on her after hearing her story and decide not to play her as I usually do after having her..... Fast forward to the day she left her phone unlocked, I went to her phone and saw so many chats with many guys and the pictures of her that she sends to them even dick pictures that they send to her (but those was before we started having serious talks). I was shocked and I instantly changed the way I see her. I showed her, and she started crying, apologising, even came down to my place after work to cry and explain that it was the heartbreak she had that made her start looking outside for guys to make her happy again. But that day changed so many things... When she's online without chatting me, I start thinking of another things, she has been apologising and giving many reasons for her actions but I still feel like am being lied to. After sex the other day, I requested for her phone and her hands started shaking, I took it from her and opened her WhatsApp, danng a different guy sent another greeting message.... I ask her, and she said HE IS A PHOTOGRAPHER THAT TOOK HIS PICTURES A CERTAIN TIME...... She went ahead to block him then but I noticed some hesitation with her actions 2 days later I saw her on Facebook but she told me she had none, asked her and she said her girlfriend opened it for her that they persuaded her.... Blahhh blahhh blahhh. The beef here is this, our hearts betray us atimes I'm slowly starting to feel for this girl and also the way she wants me to take her is very different from her actions, she even sent my pictures to her aunt that am her man..... But what I see around her ls making it difficult for me to Love her the way she wants, So I want to quit the relationship but am like unsure whether she's real, if its my fault that am too noosy on her stuff, or if she's really a wolf in sheep's clothing and is waiting for the right time to reveal her trueself because it will really hurt me to catch her redhanded while we are still in this relationship Pls I need advice |
To answer this question one must know this: 1. You are not trying complete that money to hundred thousand, you are trying to reduce to 97k First consider this: I borrowed 100k, bought a phone @ 97k my balance is 3k and now I give back 2k and take 1k with me leaving me with a debt of 98k. 49k+49k = 98k - 1k = 97k ( money for my handset). Ceteris paribus Now if I give the 1k I have with me I will owe a debt of 97k which is the money for the phone I bought. Which brings everything to equilibrium What I think in this problem is that we are not trying to complete the cash to 100k again after we have paid in 98k rather, we are trying to reduce the debt I.e we subtract not add. NUPENG issues 7-day ultimatum to FG over Abia killing. ON APRIL 23, 2020 8:15 PM NEWS Nigeria Union of Petroleum and Natural Gas Workers, NUPENG, on Thursday, issued a seven-day ultimatum to the Federal Government to, among others, arrest and prosecute a mobile policeman that allegedly killed a petrol station worker on April 5, at a filling station in Abia State, or risk industrial unrest. NUPENG, in a statement, condemned and berated an official of the Presidential Task Force, PTF, on coronavirus, COVID-19, for allegedly twisting the fact over the killing of the 26 years old Chibuisi Chikezie Okameme, who was on duty at Greenmac Energy Limited, Umuahia Road, Aba, in Abia. The statement by President and General Secretary of NUPENG, Prince William Akporeha and Afolabi Adewale, respectively, among others, said: “We demand an immediate retraction of the lie that the deceased was not killed by a mobile policeman, but by hoodlums. “This retraction must be on the same media platform the PTF official used to tell the lie to everyone. “We also want the removal or resignation of the said PTF official, immediate prosecution of the Mobile Policeman involved and immediate payment of compensation to the family of the deceased by the Federal Government.” Insisting that its demands must be met within seven days starting from Thursday, NUPENG said “we implore the Nigeria media to visit No 29/30, Greenmac Energy Limited in new Umuahia Road, Aba, in Abia State, for proper and diligent fact-finding and interview of the family of the deceased, his employer, the Abia State Police Command and other witnesses. “Our Union takes lives of our members very serious and precious and we shall do all we can to get justice. “He was killed by a mobile policeman while discharging his legitimate duties as a petrol station worker and in the frontline of the struggle against the COVID-19 pandemic on Sunday, April 5. “The Union takes serious exception to this blatant lie and attempt to twist the fact of the incident. For the record, the policeman in question is currently in detention and he has made a confessional statement to the dastardly act and postmortem carried out on the deceased, wherein bullet wound was identified and specimen of bullet removed from his body. “So we find this lie to be very callous, wicked and uncalled for. We wonder how an elderly person and a minister of the Federal Republic will be lying against the dead. NUPENG argued that said official was not fit to hold such an exalted office in Nigeria.” https://www.vanguardngr.com/2020/04/nupeng-issues-7-day-ultimatum-to-fg-over-abia-killing/ |

The Chairman of a Muslim sect, Jama’atu Izalatil Bid’a Wa’iqamatis Sunnah (JIBWIS) in Zaria,Kaduna state, Sheikh Sani Yakubu, has sacked an Imam,Malam Abubakar Sarki-Aminu for complying with the Kaduna State Government order on congregational prayers. Although the Kaduna state Government had banned gatherings involving more than 50 people in the state due to COVID-19,the Chairman confirmed the Imam’s sack on Friday and directed that the Committee Chairman for 5 daily prayers of the Mosque, Alhaji Shehu Dan-Maikuli to speak. According to Dan-Maikuli,there were disagreements between the dou even before the sack order. “When Sheik Usman Baban-Tune was alive he had to come in and settle some issues between the sacked Imam and the Mosque committee. “After the resolution, it was agreed that the Imam should be organising monthly committee meeting to discuss problems and prospects of the Mosque but after that resolution we spent over four years without single meeting. “When this issue of coronavirus came, one day the Imam just stand up after leading Zuhur prayer and announced that as from today he suspend congregational prayers until the issue is over, by then I was not in the Mosque. “When I came for Asr prayer only to be told that the Imam ordered for closure of the Mosque, I called him on phone to enquire and he said yes he had ordered that the Mosque be closed,”. Dan-Maikuli said that the Imam neither consulted him being the Chairman of the Committee nor other members of the committee, saying that it was a personal decision of the Imam. He said that they reported the case to the Chairman, JIBWIS, Zaria Local Government who promised to visit the Mosque on Thursday to personally remove the Imam. “Incidentally, the Chairman came on Wednesday and led Isha (night) prayer and thereafter announced the sack of Malam Abubakar Aminu and replaced him with Malam Ahmad Tijjani as the new Imam,” He said: “when this case of coronavirus pandemic surfaced in Nigeria, after a while, Kaduna State Government declared that henceforth Jaumat prayer is banned and any gathering above 50 people should be suspended. “Our Mosque usually witness a very large crowd of worshippers, as such we have to comply with the directives given by Gov. Nasiru el-Rufa’i to avoid spread of the disease. “In line with this, I stood up after leading a congregational prayer to tell people that in view of the order by the state government, I suspend congregational prayers in this Mosque until the ban is lifted,” he said. According to him, two days later, he learnt that some people reported him to Sheik Sani Yakubu, who directed that congregational prayers should continue in the same Mosque. Sarki-Aminu said: “My deputy Imam called me on phone that Sheik Sani Yakuba ordered that we should continue with the congregational prayers, that I should come out for Subhi (dawn) prayer. “I replied him that, if the chairman wants me to continue with the congregational prayers, let him formally write to me so that I will be convinced that his order supersede that of government. “I waited without anything to that effect, later I learnt that the chairman came and lead a congregational Isha’i prayer and announce my removal and replaced me with Malam Ahmad Tijjani with two deputies who already are my deputies.” On allegation that he did not consult the Mosque committee before the closure, Sarki-Aminu observed that whenever government gives directives “then who else will give a counter-directive? “In an ideal situation, Imam is the leader of the Mosque, the committee did not enquire from me but they decided to go straight to Sheik Sani Yakubu and he used his power and reopened the Mosque and subsequently announced my removal.” He said the allegation of laxity on his part in convening monthly committee meeting, it was an attempt to shift the attention of people on the current happening, adding that such issues were never in anyway relevant to present happening. https://www.vanguardngr.com/2020/04/covid-19-muslim-sect-sacks-zaria-imam-for-canceling-congregational-prayer/ |

HIV drug leronlimab, which successfully treat a coronavirus, moving to phase 2 trials An experimental HIV drug that has been used to successfully treat COVID-19 patients is in its second phase of testing with the Food and Drug Administration and could potentially be approved for use in four weeks, its manufacturer says. Leronlimab, made by the biotech company CytoDyn, was used to treat a handful of severely ill patients in New York City hospitals; a couple were able to be removed from their ventilators “I think the FDA will be willing to work with us,” CytoDyn CEO Nader Pourhassan told The Post. “I am hoping it will be expedited … I don’t see how the FDA couldn’t approve it.” “With a study in China indicating the mortality rate among COVID-19 patients requiring mechanical ventilators at more than 85 percent, the world desperately needs a therapy that can help this patient population,” Pourhassan added. Initial studies suggest leronlimab can reduce the overactive immune response, known as a cytokine storm, that can be triggered by the coronavirus infection. Cytokine storms can result in pneumonia and even death. “I cried for about five minutes. It was very, very emotional,” Pourhassan told Seattle’s KIRO 7 News after first learning of the results. “We’re hoping we can save millions of lives.” https://www.vanguardngr.com/2020/04/hiv-drug-leronlimab-which-successfully-treats-coronavirus-moving-to-phase-2-trials/ |
