Gooday all, please I want to seek advise the best way to respond to my visa refusal with below remarks and also is it better to reapply from Nigeria?

I applied visit visa purpose for tourism for me, wife and two kids from middle east (OMAN) using the old portal last year April and we got refused November last year.

We have enough proof of funds both local currency and Nigeria bank statement, with company letter from the employers.

We have valid USA visa and other expired Schengen visas

We included landed property documents and company registration documents both in Naija and abroad but they rejected the visa application after 7 months with below remarks as follows:

I have reviewed your temporary resident visa (visitor visa) application and supporting documentation to assess whether you meet the requirements for a visitor visa (https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/ services/visit-canada/eligibility.html). This includes assessing whether you are coming to Canada temporarily for the reason(s) you describe in your application. I have determined that your application does not meet the requirements of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act (IRPA) (https://laws-lois.justice.gc.ca/eng/acts/I-2.5/index.html) and Immigration and Refugee Protection Regulations (IRPR) (https://laws-lois.justice.gc.ca/eng/regulations/sor-2002-227/ index.html). I am refusing your application. • I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay as required by paragraph 179(b) of the IRPR (https://laws-lois.justice.gc.ca/eng/regulations/SOR-2002-227/ section-179.html). I am refusing your application because you have not established that you will leave Canada, based on the following factors: • The purpose of your visit to Canada is not consistent with a temporary stay given the details you have provided in your application. • Your current employment situation does not show that you are financially established in your country of residence. • Your immigration status outside your country of nationality or habitual residence. • You have limited employment possibilities in your country of residence.

Please what's the best way to reapply, from Nigeria or the same country of residence?

Thank you for the clarification and solid proof that the agent is being very dishonest in claiming that the portal is empty and no email was received on July 5th. In most cases, this is often related to proof of funds submitted by the applicant, and if no reply is given within 8 days, it leads to automatic refusal and a ban.in this case the agent know it fake bank statement and decided to ignore the message or his reply hold no ground nd applicant refused!

Copy of passport biodata , ppr letter, consent form signed and dated.

I used DHL to drop off my package on a Friday. They delivered it on Monday and I received a call from them(VFS) that evening to make a payment. I paid, but then I got another call the next day to pay again. I informed them that I had already paid. They sent my passport on Tuesday. Although it was ready on Friday, I was busy, so I picked it up on Monday.

can anyone advise standard processing time for Canada visa now for Nigerians living in Nigeria.

Just be a bit patient. Try and appeal to him to send you the message sent from IRCC to know the documents requested from you . If appealing to him doesn't work try and pay him a visit because most of the documents requested are time bound
and if IRCC doesn't get those documents by the specific time, decisions will be made based on the available documents available to them. So be fast about this your agent

You need to be patient with the long process (6months) as I am also in your WhatsApp group.

Hope you attached all your biz/job that supports home ties.? Hope u had good balance on your account statement? Hope u shared assets that showed you are established in your home country? Hope u shared her accommodation contract that shows where you ll be staying when you visit her and Hope you made her send a letter of invitation to IRCC showing consent and your approval to visit.?

I would also love to know the reasons you were denied SOWP just to see if those reasons have been treated and not a threat to your visit to your madam.

Thanks for the feedback we were both denied together at first due to proof of fund , after that i tidied the POF and reapply for only her and my daughter and it was successful. All above mentioned was submitted, a notary lawyer even stamped the application my wife submitted. Over 25k USD submitted.

You’re right. They normally send the bank statement the applicant uploaded with his visa application to the applicant's bank for authenticity verification; they don't ask for a bank balance.

Funny and IRCC don enter January/February..I will advice all December applicant to send webform cos your timeline has elapsed!

No embassy will request for an updated bank statement.

To the best of my knowledge, the embassy can only verify that the document you submitted is authentic. No bank has the right to reveal the balance in your account without your consent. Safe for criminal investigation matters.

I think you can withdraw the amount you need cause having to wait for about 6 months without making use of the funds in your account seems irrational. Just make sure that at any point in time, the account isn’t empty.
