lower denomination only works if the currency has value..the lowest effective denomination in Nigeria now is #50...#5 and #10 can only be effective of the currency is devalued using the "strike out zeros option"..if two zeros is removed..#1000 will now be #10 i.e what you will do with #1000,you will do it with #10...

let your friend be in charge of materials while the contractor pays and acquires labour or just do supervision while your friend buys materials and pays for labour...then pay the engr supervision fee

for now,I have settled for the 50naira notes...
