Did you follow this link to see whether you fall into category 0, A or B? You need to fall into those categories yo be eligible.

Then Google WES and check their requirements as I think what you have is sufficient. The most important thing is getting your institution to send them your transcripts directly.

Lastly, try and read this thread as much as you can to gain as much knowledge on this journey.

thanks . I already did, it falls under category b. the clarification I need is the difference in my degree n the modeling? won't registering for job bank limit u to university degree?
and also about the documentation from my employer. modeling has no basic monthly salary etc.

I still do have some Questions. is it mandatory that there should be a correlation between what you read in school and the noc job you have experience in?
because I have a masters in philosophy but I am a fashion model/fitness instructor.. in fact ,I have been since 2013.
now the question i have with fashion modeling( it is a skilled job) is the documentation of work experience. I have worked with modeling agencies that signed me, but I submitted the forms I signed. I can request for them for they can serve as employment letter. what about the salary aspect and the role u played in the organization as u know modeling is not as documented as a bank/office job? same goes for the fitness instructor job too. not sure if the gym has a website, company logo with any official employment letter. any advice on how to officially package my modeling experience with salary n role documentation?

and is it compulsory to have your certificate before your degree is evaluated by Wes or iqas? i currently do not have my certificate with me. I only have my unofficial transcript. nothing else.
lastly how much is Wes and iqas in naira?

I write to inquire as to the repercussion of an unsuccessful visa lottery way way back. Based on the non-editing of a submitted form policy, what if there was an error(year of birth) on the form?. will it reflect on a new DS 160 if the error is corrected on it? have it in mind that the error was discovered after submission. However, there was no call to interview and also no thumb printing.
in other words, will there be a contradiction of information?

Good day. I cannot advise you as to which visa to choose -- IR1 or K1. I will suggest, however, that you contact USCIS with your question about how long your application might take (this, by the way, will be my standard response each time this question is raised).

A K1 visa is only for an alien fiance ("alien fiance" is the legal term, apologies if this is offensive as it is not meant to be). There is no legal requirement for any ceremony to become "engaged." You must only promise, in writing, to marry each other within 90 days of your arrival in the United States.

Regarding Nigerian customary and traditional ceremonies, we have local staff well-versed in Nigerian culture. They assist visa officers in determining if the "engagement" qualifies as a traditional marriage. After a time, visa officers, too, become very familiar with the various ceremonies. The most important takeaway is that U.S. law recognizes traditional marriages.

I have an American fiancee ..
after going through this thread extensively ,I noticed I'm left with two options,,k1 or ir1.
the k1 is a fiancee visa and seems faster than ir1..my question about this is,,what exactly constitutes an engagement in Nigerian terms and us embassy terms too? is it just an exchange of rings with some sort of party and pictures..what is the difference between that and wedding?
or must one even hold an engagement party as proof of existing relationship as believed on this thread? she's visiting soon so I wish to get this right..
as for the spouse visa(ir1) once we get married in the registry,,she goes back and file for me.. this is pretty straightforward but can you give an educated estimate of the time frame of the k1 and ir1 from the date of filing till the actual interview date.
I have a decision to make as of which to choose before her impending arrival..
