DaGC: That's like saying all robbers and cultists are well trained, simply because they can shoot a gun.
Anyways, I said "little or no military training" but you using "well trained" is a bit too much. sent to Somalia, Mali and other nations with people like them not all sha |

DaGC: Ammunitions arrive on a steady but hardly does new weapons and equipments. Can't count how many times I've seen Soldiers offloading at Apapa and Warri ports.
Sometimes, you see the boxes on the truck in the convoy and its usually grenades and bullets written on them. I meant new equipments o, they look like armoured tanks but not sure |
Politics › Re: Nigeria Military In Pictures by rildwanullahi(m): 5:21pm On Oct 22, 2016 |
DaGC: Reason why I didn't wanna drag politics into it is cause of your 1st paragraph. Cause you are implying that the above weapons images were procured by this administration and that before this administration, they didn't exist. 2ndly, neither GEJ or PMB are on the front lines fighting the insurgents which still boils down to me being surprised by our armed forces being haggled by people with little or no military training.
And I never mentioned Boko Haram cause they are not the only ones fighting the Armed forces, I also meant militants, illiterate youths used for elections etc.
These are people with little or no training, holding it down against people with a career in it.
Its just a thought though, so don't get too irked. My brother those people are tr God bless the Armed Forces. My brother those boys are well trained, there is an article I read that confirms it by those on the front line |

DaGC: His offensive strategies and leadership changes seems to be working excellently. But in the area of logistics, upgrade and weapons purchase, I'm not so sure. the weapons are coming in en masse, sometimes when I go to apapa, I see weapons being Conveyed by soldiers on more than 2 occasions in the last 3 months , I don't go there everyday o |

Jay20: The plant is actually dual fired..The steam turbines can either b powered by HFO(Heavy Fuel Oil) or natural gas while the gas turbine is fired by either natural gas or LFO(Light Fuel Oil) or in lay mans term "diesel".. the power generated by the gas turbine is realy nt bin exported to d grid bt used during start-up,system collapse, for in house purposes as well as sustaining 24hrs power supply to the estate.. so you feed the lpfo to the steam turbines, wow wonderful, power engineer, please educate me if I am wrong |

Exploring alternative fuel sources for the plant would be a good one. like what, the plant has gas and steam turbines not diesel or petrol It is a gas fired power plant not a gigantic generator house |

ShootToKill: Oga close your mouth, TWICE I went to the bank to collect my Dolls early this year. TWICE they told me they had no dolls to give and offered to pay in naira. Infact when I logged into Internet banking my Dollars where converted to naira equivalent on screen. Last I went there a month later, I clear 90% of what is in my dorm account. So close your poverty-stricken mouth, I've been saving in dollars since my 100L days like many people that are financially futuristic. It is people like you that are killing the naira By speculating, invest in govt bonds and treasury bills instead or start a small business |

Businesstools: Bros cool down,
There are two cadres of personnel in the military, the NN inclusive. Not only in Nigeria, but worldwide, namely: Commissioned Officers Cadre and the Non-Commissioned Officers Cadre.
Contrary to what you think, the Nigerian Navy does not recruit illiterate persons. The Nigerian navy is made-up of professionals from all fields of human endeavor, Doctors, Lawyers, Architects, Surveyors, Engineers, Pharmacists, Accountants (Chartered and Non-chartered), Statisticians, etc. Just name it? The Navy has it. But the ongoing recruitment is for the Non-commissioned Officers Cadre (Otherwise called Ratings Cadre) and only Non-graduates are allowed to apply. How it is not the 10years stuff like DSSC |

jamauldeen: Nobody was asked to pay a dime, I was part of the first batch that did documentation and i was duly cleared and i wasnt asked to pay a Kobo. It was only when i went to National Population Commission office at Surulere i payed a token of 3kplus for the birth attestation and i was asked to pick it back in 10days time in which i picked. I guess maybe cos of the limited timeframe given to candidate not cleared & subject to birth attestation thats why National Population Commission hiked d price cos of the rush.
Rumour mungers please desist from carrying fake news.
To candidates that did documentation and cleared . we will be called soon according to what a staff of CSC i spoke with told me. So u guys should just chill and be ready for the training.
One love ma people! Is the attestation different from birth certificate ,main Nov office or where Birth certificate is issued |
