thaoriginator:Osinbajo actually acted swiftly. He said they were working on the 5for5 and that we should give them time. He begged the peaceful protesters to get off street, but they wouldn't even when they were working on the #endsars demand, until they allowed the hoodlums and thugs hijacked the whole thing and eventually causing more chaos. |
Mrquote:Because they're winning whenever we're burning and antagonizing ourselves. |
boyjo:Tinubu doesn't control the military, he's not even the CSO of Lagos State. Don't mind those people peddling that false narration that he instigated it. It's all in a bid to cause division and more violence in Lagos State. |
I said this. It all seemed like I was the only one seeing this. There's a plot against the South West. They know quite sell Lagos is where the South West power lies and they needed to weaken Lagos and it's leaders to totally crumble the political influence South West has in the national politics. It's only pitiable that most of our people aren't seeing this. Really.

Nice one OP. Obviously I'm not the only one seeing this big picture. |
Buhari ordered unarmed protesters to be shot, in turn, cause chaos in Lagos State, while he's there in Aso rock, picking his teeth with toothpick. ![]() |
We are gradually becoming what we're fighting against. ![]() |
This isn't the solution. |
Trump is next. You can't kill South westerners of this age and go scot free. This is not 1984 |
Cultists and thugs have taken over the protest. Peaceful protesters wouldn't not think of marching to the police station in the first place, talk less setting it on fire. EVERYONE SHOULD BACK DOWN NOW |
fanaticf:That place used to be a police station, but new one was built near that place and the police moved there about 5years ago. The old building wasn't demolished and was just there. So it's technically not a police station per se In return, police already killed 3 people.

Notatribalist:People are out there fighting a specificity (against police brutality), not generality (bad governance). If this fight was for better governance entirely, then it'd be an onus on every Nigerians to fight the fight because we suffer from bad governance on daily basis. But this particular fight against police brutality is a fight we're not sure we can win, because it's a definite thing worldwide that police are generally always brutal in a corrupt society. Nigeria is one of the most corrupt country in the world and hence it's expected that police officers here should be the most corrupt, which eventually is obvious. Hence for police brutality to end in Nigeria, it must start by ending bad and corrupt governance. Is #EndSARs about ending bad and corrupt governance? No! Why then should we not resume school again? |
These fools should do whatever they want to do and allow us go back to class. I only have 3month left and it's becoming almost a year already. |
Does anyone know when the last diet result would be out? |
Corruption which is the bane and most visible problem with this country didn't start in a day, it grew and became enormous overtime, hence eradication of the whole thing can't be done within a day, a year or even a decade. We can't expect them to address all the major issues we're facing in this country, we table it one after the other. Just like it's very easier to add weight, loosing it however can be very tedious. The major reason why I'm now so happy that the people are realising their power. From this month on, we'd be losing the corruption that run in our government with protests both offline and online, by fire by force they must heed our ccries In democratic settings power has always belong to the people, but we lost the touch of this as a result of the brutality the military era impacted on us, thankfully we're waking up now. #ENDSARS |
Scholars are writing this because we have Buhari who happens to be a Muslim in power. During the time of Jonathan, scholars did not write things like this, rather most northerners criticized him both openly and closely. Jonathan's government was the most insulted and most criticized government in this 4th republic. I still remember vividly how he was thrown stones and dirts in one of his campaign in the North. Where were this scholars when these were all going on? Isn't the double standard obvious already? The kind of evil this Nigerian government is meting out on its citizens is so horrible and comparable to forcing people to leave their faith for another thing entirely. If we're not rising to stop of evil, how long do we wait before it totally gets out of hand? Police killing us everyday like flies, you said we should continue looking at the government and not say anything to stop it? You say we can hold their hands in private and talk to them? How does a common man gets to do that? This thread is DOA. All your quotes aren't applicable to this situation. |
Lorayne:The thing pain you die ![]() |
Confusion everywhere. |
Saw the video earlier on, I don't know what's always wrong with these girls. They just lust around cultists that's capable of killing them at the slightest provocation. You were in school to read, why walk into your own death yourself? RIP OH ![]() |
I'll support this very well. However everything all boils down to bad governance. The corruption, evil, anger, poverty and gnashing of teeth comes from the federal government to its people. Police brutality wouldn't have been possible, had the government not leave environment for bad cops to thrive in the evil they perpetrate on innocent people. It is even said that the bad cops that extort people are doing so because they have to meet targets set by their superiors. It all still goes back to the CP. Hence they do their evil with pride, after all no one will check their mate. Government is to blame for this for not just installing corrupt cops on us, but also serving as mentor to them when it comes to corruption. This cannot be continued, something must be done as even those of us that are clean of fraud or anything are getting harrassed everyday. Government still are to be blamed for most youth engaging in internet fraud these days. Government aren't creating avenues for entrepreneurship business to thrive as well as not creating jobs for graduates from school. Even though this isn't enough to engage in internet fraud and other dastard acts, nevertheless the survival instinct in us will always make us find our way even in the most meanest of ways. However we can't encourage yahoo yahoo, we must end it. It's giving us bad image internationally, these criminals fraudsters are defrauding us locally now. I was in the banking Hall the other day and a woman was crying profusely and almost passed out because fraudsters had cleared all the money in her account. These things are evil and should be condemned. However, police instead of bringing them into justice aren't doing so but rather extorting them for them own selfish interest. Both internet fraudsters and police are same evil of different colors. Bottom line FG is to be blamed, and also they have the sole power to turn off this whole evil at once. |
Look at those gay assss mfs. ![]() |
It's obvious ASUU will bend their knee soon. Dem don see say Buhari no get time for rubbish. |
Empiree:Most people getting scammed are people seeking shortcut or seeking to pay very little for high volume of data. Or data is a bit cost for an average Nigerian with the situation of things in the country, originally from service providers you get 3gig for #1500. Resellers sell it far less, but most are scam. I hardly buy from resellers though, I subscribe directly from telecom providers. |
Dead on arrival. Buhari isn't on Twitter, tHats Tolu Ogunlesi behind the handle. ![]() |
AbdulSleeky:Yeah you know, we don't have money to buy data, we are really suffering. Happy now? |
AbdulSleeky:You know right, everyone of us don't have a life outside the internet like you. Hahaha. Online atheism fetches you money, doesn't it? LMAO |
tunjilee003:Ever been to Tanke, Unity, Pipeline, oyun, agbabiaka etc? They roam these areas every minute. |
Most of these protesters are Yahoo boys. Na Lekki be their zone. Nevertheless #endsars |
tunjilee003:Which part of Kwara are you? Hahaha probably inside bush or something lol |
