Suicide is never an option though, unfortunately this evil thing is becoming prevalent in this society. A coursemate of mine called me last week that he carried a course, and that he's totally tired and he's started contemplating suicide, to the extent told me frankly that he's thinking suicide. I was shocked to the bone because i didn't expect it. Had to calm him down a bit and call some lecturers. There's nothing they can do since they've released the result already but I was able to persuade him into believing that it's not over until it's over. Gave him a lot of life scenarios and lots of encouragement on never giving up, with the promise that when we resume we'll go see the lecturer on his behalf. Since then, he's been calmed.

Perhaps he would have committed suicide if he had been keeping it to himself. Or maybe if I hadn't cared about his state of affairs. What these people need is encouragement and lots of encouragements. Not seeing failure as the end of everything rather as an avenue to do better.

They could have started this long ago, and by now the rate at which youths delve into this Yahoo wouldn't have been much as it currently is. The rate is madly high, and EFCC even in the next 2 years to come, if they continue the sting operation like this, it's still going to be a bit hard to eradicate Yahoo so easily. The major reason why they say 'make hay while sun shine', now the sun is set, and EFCC are now making hay.

Nevertheless this will at least cure the madness a bit, but not in it's entirety as it ought to.
