A lot of people aren't following this martial arts' masterpiece from AMC well enough. Currently in its second season, ITB has been doing well form itself story-wise.

At the start of this season, our hero - Sunny - is held captive in a refugee camp outside the Badlands, called Bordu Camp. Things are getting really interesting especially with the dynamics the show has taken in its sophomore season.

Dru meets Gru!

Animated movies have always been the light head of the cinematic world. When the Despicable Me franchise launched in 2010, fans were introduced to Gru and his wonderful Minions; the Minions were so well received that they had their own spin-off movie in 2015. Now, Despicable Me is back with its third installment. The trailer was released earlier today and it is hilarious. Here’s to hoping the Minions get much screen-time as new character, Dru.

Dru is Gru’s identical twin brother. From the trailer Dru wants Gru to go on one more heist with him as villainy runs in their blood. Even the Minions want Gru to come out from retirement. One a villain, always a villain.

That scene was an unspecified number of years into the future. The producers refused specifying how far into the future for reasons of not confusing people, same way they didn't tell us what year Elena and Damon got married or what year they died.

Not Klaus' letter.

In an interview, Julie Plec said she didn't think they'll delve much into what's left between Caroline and Klaus because that would entail talking about the Boarding house school which might not be worth it, and that TO wasn't yet confirmed for season 5 so such plans for now were non-existent.

The series finale got most things right; it was filled with lots of emotions and callbacks to earlier seasons. It's finally over, the journey of eight years has come to an end. I read somewhere between the lines that TO might not be returning for a fifth season... God help us!

FX new series brings plenty of intense female hatred to the forefront.

Feud gives us the Jessica Lange we have missed from American Horror Story.

Feud is a story about two elderly woman in desperate need of a come back to Hollywood. They star in the same movie even though they hate each other.

Feud season one properly subtitled Bette and Joan is of to a very good start. The premiere episode was very good, Susan Sarandon and Jessica Lange bring out the very best in them as the titular characters. Set in 1962, Hollywood has not much time for aged one time movie stars; Joan wants a comeback to continue living her life of affluence after the death of her husband. Bette who had accepted fate and moved on to Broadway is approached by Joan with a proposal to be the lead in a new picture titled - What Ever Happened To Baby Jane? It doesn't take long for this woman to be at each other's throat; with a mixture of of respect and pain (as Joan put it) this woman are of to a long time of animosity and destruction.

What makes Feud's premiere particularly nice is its ability to exist on its own without really depending on the mighty ability of its Producer, Ryan Murphy (the brain behind American Horror Story).

I'm already hooked, and I think Feud is off to a great start, so much that it has already been renewed for a second season with a focus on Prince Charles and Princess Diana.

With Logan already out in the cinemas there is no better time to talk about the man who’s made Wolverine possible on the big screen all these years.
Hugh Jackman is one of the best things to ever happen to the world of cinematic viewing experience; for 17 years he has been the face of one of the most popular comic-book movie franchise, but just like everything that has a beginning the end has come for his reign as Logan (The Wolverine).

We are going to briefly go through Logan’s role in all the movies of the Xmen franchise, and quietly analyse his (Hugh Jackman’s) contribution towards making the installments of the franchise memorable for fans and also profitable for 20th Century Fox (the studio behind the Xmen movies).


1. Xmen (2000)

It won’t be wrong to say Logan was the bedrock of this movie; his relationship with Rogue was the main stay of the very first entry into the franchise. This movie helped establish Hugh Jackman the Australian by birth a somewhat good choice to play Logan the Canadian by character.

2. Xmen: United (2003)

This movie confirmed Director Bryan Singer’s decision to cast Hugh Jackman. Hugh owned the role of this movie, and as usual the plot needed him to make it work because this movie focused more on how Logan became the Wolverine through experimentation by William Stryker.

3. Xmen: Last Stand (2006)

Considered the weakest link of the original trilogy, this was still a good watch, and it needed Hugh Jackman as Logan to work. His complicated relationship with Jean Grey is what saw the story come to an end.

4. Xmen Origins: Wolverine (2009)

Considered the worst film of the franchise (which I concur) this movie was supposed to be the launch pad of Fox’s idea to take the most popular of the Xmen into an anthology world of their own spin-offs. The movie flopped in the eyes of critics and viewers, it was so bad that it delayed Ryan Reynold’s launch of Deadpool for almost a decade.

5. Xmen: First Class (2011)

This was the salvation Fox hoped for. And it worked. The Xmen franchise was soft rebooted, and most of the core characters recast with younger versions of themselves, but none could be gotten to replace to indispensable Hugh Jackman. Hugh Jackman had a small appearance as Logan, which is memorable for the reply phrase, ‘F*uck off!’

6. The Wolverine (2013)

Another solo movie outing, only this time it was done right. Logan was the sole center of this entertaining movie.

7. Xmen: Days of Future Past (2014)

This movie is one of the best of the franchise, it brought casts of the original trilogy and newer casts together in a compelling story, and as usual, Logan was the one to hold the story together. Logan’s regenerative factor was used as the basis to send his consciousness back years in time to help avert a dangerous future.

8. Deadpool (2016)

The only appearance Logan made here was when Deadpool made a caricature drawing of the man with an adamantium claw. Ha Ha!!

9. Xmen: Apocalypse (2016)

Truthfully, Logan didn’t have much to do here, but the producers just had to provide both fan service and set up future movies, so they had to fit him in.

10. Logan (2017)

The last and latest movie of Hugh Jackman as Logan. This movie will be an emotional roller-coaster, and will prove just how much he will be missed. It is up to Fox to decide how the character will be continued, or how the series will progress without him.


No doubt Hugh Jackman will be missed in this role, whoever is taking over has a huge hole to fill. The news going round from Logan’s early preview is that the movie is very much worth the hype. This is Hugh Jackman’s swansong, best to go when the ovation is at the loudest.


Logan is out in cinemas already, and will be reviewed in RR as soon as possible.

After waiting a week to see Katherine, all we got in response were just nods (shoe, hair, jacket) to what makes Katherine Katherine. Mama Donovan and Vicki make surprising returns to the series.

These people had better bring Katherine back before I get incredibly angry.

1. First off the month of March, is Logan (Mar. 3) *

The highly anticipated Logan is reportedly Hugh Jackman’s last outing as the man with the adamantium claw, meaning it will be an emotional movie, especially during its last ten minutes (usually for farewell and speeches). Critics who have already viewed this movie have certified it fresh and fit for public consumption and enjoyment.


2. Next is the movie that’ll serve as a reboot to the strength of an ape, Kong: Skull Island (Mar 10) *

This fantasy movie has promised to be very entertaining thanks to its many trailers we’ve viewed.


3. Beauty and the Beast (Mar. 17) *

In 1991, Disney ruled the box-office world with the release of an animation with this titled; now they are set to do it again, this time by bringing the household characters to lif.e


4. Power Rangers (Mar. 20) *

Go go, Power Rangers! This is one phrase a lot of us grew up hearing almost everyday; the Power Rangers are returning, and this time with the awesomeness that a 2017 movie can offer, awesome graphics of morphing, flights, and slashes.


5. Ghost in the Shell (Mar. 31)

The Scarlet Johnson led movie is set to be released. Promo pictures and snippets I’ve seen raised my interest in this movie a little.
