Did you confirm the scarcity yourself from the Ikoyi office? I'd advice you go there, confirm the status of your passport. If the status is confirmed just find a way to see the PCO. It seems that's the only way to get passport sorted these days at Ikoyi.

I want to make some alterations to the name and date of birth on my passport.
I am yet to make any move on this process. I want to know if it is DIY friendly or do i just contact a NIS officer which i know might be more expensive..
Luckily for me when i did the passport the NIN wasn't a criteria for passport issuance.
I want to use the new name for NIN registration and get the new date of birth from population commission..

This process you want to embark on ehn, its you God oo. It won't be funny at all. Think it through o, if at the end it is a must you do this, just face Abuja HQ and camp there with them.

So i applied for my passport and my daughter's using two different agents at Ikoyi. We captured on the same day, but my passport was ready within 7weeks of capture while her own was not ready even five weeks after. The status was on AA for over 8weeks. The agent I used for her was a pure scam, she made no move whatsoever for my daughter's passport to be ready. She kept saying, its only people that paid extra that get their own. I became a frequent visitor in Ikoyi office. I visited the Servicom unit for the umpteenth time. They keep tossing me around. ......Her NIN might not have dropped.... Contact your agent.......Go to the PCO's office......yen yen yen.
At the PCO'S office they will tell you go back to SERVICOM.
So I went there today as early as 7:25am inspired by corleone427, It was same old story.
While it was raining, I carried my baby inside the rain and approached the PCO, the comptroller and their entourage on their way to conduct an on-the-spot check in preparation for a visit by the minister of interior today.
He collected the slip and my daughter's passport was ready within 3 hours, what I waited for 3 months to be ready. I only waited extra hours for it to be released and activated.


A man in that PCO'S office ensured the process was smooth but rejected my token of appreciation.

I rest my case....

Since it’s taking time to drop, I would advise you to contact @adebisilucy here because sometimes NIN takes 6months to drop naturally and by that time your passport payment would have expired and you will be ask to make another payment or go through hectic validation process. Do something to make it drop before the 6th month

Please guys, does anybody have contacts with NIMC? I really need help. My daughter's passport is still not processed as the NIN hasn't 'dropped' according to them. She captured since mid-April at the Ikoyi center. Really frustrating. Please help.

Yeah, Dambaba Suntai was the pilot flying this ill-fated aircraft. He had a PPL which qualified him to Fly... but he didn't have a Cessna Caravan 208B type rating. At that, He was unqualified and not competent to fly this aircraft. Unfortunately because of the way the country was, the NCAA just couldn't do anything about him then.
