I’ve said this severally but some coconut head wailers keep believing the contrary. Tinubu, Osinbajo and Amaechi are all good to go. I have no doubt in my mind that any of them that emerge will do well. However, they all will be subjected to a thorough and rigorous primary election. Overall, I think this is an unfair review of Yemi Osinbajo’s performance as Vice President. Blaming him for the state of the economy is simply stupid. The EMT was disbanded about 4 years ago in favor of an Economic advisory council headed by Doyin Salami. Covid-19 and the crash in crude oil prices also contributed significantly to the state of the economy. I don’t think we could have done any better considering how stronger economies all over the world fared.
