An Australian man is here with a piece of advice to Nigerians who are making plans to leave their country and those who already in diaspora to come back home. Taking to his social media handle, he gave convincing reasons for his statement. See below.. "I don't have anything against wanting to go abroad, but those who want to go abroad and never come back to Nigeria are deffiently missing out on gold that is yet to be digged up. You have the advtange because you grew up in that country and if you don't dig the gold first, others will and that's exactly what's happening. Countless Western companies and other companies are coming from outside of Nigeria even outside of Africa and are investing millions if not billions into resources in Africa and into Nigeria. Why would successful companies do such a thing into a country that's considered poor and in poverty? It's simply because poor countries have more opportunities to gain resources and succeed in then already established and successful ones. The missing piece to the puzzle however is that the large majority of people in Nigeria don't even know what gold they are sitting on, they never bothered to invest time and effort into understanding what great things are available that they could take advantage of inside of the country to benefit from because they are to busy complaining about how bad things are rather then investing that time in finding out how to take the gold in their own country. There is a reason why Western businesses go into third world countries and build things inside and make millions and billions of dollars yet the majority of the natives to those countries will stay poor. The only difference is knowledge and experience and being able to see the opportunities that others don't and to take advantage of them. Now of course this is much easier said then done, however if you dedicate enough time and resources to understanding these things and learning how to do them, you will have a much higher chance of succeeding and becoming greatly successful in Nigeria then you ever would outside of Nigeria." A Louisiana man reportedly drowned after he asked his girlfriend to marry him in an underwater proposal, she said in a social media post.⠀ ⠀ ⠀⠀⠀ ⠀ "You never emerged from those depths, so you never got to hear my answer, 'Yes! Yes! A million times, yes, I will marry you!!'" his girlfriend, Kenesha Antoine, wrote in an emotional Facebook post on Friday announcing the death. ⠀⠀⠀ ⠀ Steven Weber Jr., of Baton Rouge, died after he appeared to swim up to meet Antoine, she said. ⠀⠀⠀ ⠀ ⠀⠀⠀ ⠀ Antoine recorded the proposal and could be heard excitedly giggling as Weber put a note on a glass window that read, "I can’t hold my breath long enough to tell you everything I love about you but ... everything I love about you, I love more every day," according to Antoine's Facebook post. ⠀⠀⠀ ⠀ The couple was vacationing at The Manta Resort on Pemba Island in Tanzania. Dancer stages protest against those who left graphic designer to die after being stabbed during a robbery attack. On sharing the moment on his handle, he wrote; 22 yrs old graphic artist and Model Chineyerem Nene was stabbed on the neck somewhere around Adeite Street Sawmill, Ifako last Tuesday when some miscreants were trying to steal his phone, he died as a result of the incessant bleeding During his candle night walk (Tuesday Night) in bariga, I learnt he didn't die on the spot, he actually ran away from the boys and was seeking help from people living around that area from Adeite Street, to Williams street, up to the junction of RCCG Maranatha Church. No one helped, they were scared! I was so furious when I learnt about the incident so myself and a few dancers from Oworo,sawmill and bariga staged a performance protest from the Spot where Nene to down to all the streets he ran for help. Like we said to the residents of the area where this avoidable incident took place, everyone was a part of Nene's death! Not just D guys who stabbed him, but also everyone who closed your shop and their houses when they saw the Young chap seeking for help, they all murdered him!

A woman has lost his son who was on a plane to the US after he ate a food her best friend poisoned. Here is a video showing the moment a Nigerian man confronted a female Pakistani immigration officer for refusing him entry after cross-checking his papers at the airport. In the footage making rounds online, the man accused the authorities of racial profiling despite the $2k he was made to pay and yet was denied entry.
