Who first shared Peter Obi's picture printed on a Muslim mat and made it go viral? Reno

Who used the mat and picture and tried to instigate a Muslim Vs Christian fight with arguments on tolerance and intolerance that even led to Peter Obi making a disclaimer? Reno

Who started the false story of Peter Obi leaving PDP to join NNPP? Reno

Who edited a picture of Peter obi and Kwankwaso and came up with the false story that Peter Obi is trying to sideline Kwankwaso in "his own party"? Reno

Who is trying so hard to make Peter Obi look merely like an Igbo project? Reno

Who is the one trying to gaslight Peter Obi's supporters by emotionally blackmailing them and accusing them of Cyberbullying? Reno

Just this recent interview that Peter Obi granted with Arise news in which he used a driver-pilot analogy to explain how we need to start hiring the right and qualified candidate for the job without the primitive consideration of tribe and religion. . . who is trying to turn his analogy upside down to cause tension and division between Muslims in the North and Christians in the South by playing a mind game on the Northerners even to the extent of making the post in the Hausa language? Reno

Who will come out to still post pictures of himself and Peter Obi and make videos claiming to be Peter Obi's friend? Reno

Who is the man that claims to be a Christian Pastor yet does not believe that Jesus is God? Reno

What is the best word that we can use to describe the person and actions of Reno Omokri?

Please, if you have an idea, help me. ..

Obidient4life:

What's the difference between Vice and deputy?

Vice" usually is used in front of a top-level rank. So, you have a Vice President, vice chairman, vice consul, vice admiral. The "vice" prefix actually come for the Latin word for "change" and traditionally refers to someone who is acting on behalf of, or is in place of, someone else.

A deputy is also someone who has authority to act on behalf of a superior, such as deputy Governor, but the word deputy tends to be used further down the organizational chart. So you have a Vice President, but deputy Governor, since a Governor of a State is lower down than President of a Country.

Politics / Biafra To Stay Or To Go My Take by riverbond(m): 3:48pm On May 31, 2017
Biafra ,if you ask me by Mazi Odera

I am about to thread where even the Angels don’t want to play ,a topic and issue considered sacred and can invoke unbridled out pour of venom and never encomium on me ,but like my old man will say “agaghi eji mgbagbu ghara ogu ” (We can’t abstain from war to avoid Death ).

Many of our people want Biafra where we can go back and live on our own ,but I beg to differ but before you start spitting in all directions just hear me out after all okwu adiro ano na afo ,ajo njo (Words cannot be bad in incubation).

It started like a Joke when people from other Tribes accepted the superiority of the Caucasians who came in with aims of exploiting Africans to the fullest ,they came with Religion which they assured us is the way, and that it is filled with LOVE ,but when our Forebears refused to swallow everything HOOK,LINE AND SINKER the missionaries who came in as Saints with Bible on the surface brought Soldiers armed with Guns and slaughter us to submission ,those that survived, many were carted into Slavery with shackles and fetters of Iron clanged on them for Months while they were stored in Ships without medical of any sought and if life ran out of you ,they will dedicate you to aquatic world .

Destination slave market were they sale God’s Creation and they expect you to forget and shout Hallelujah .

They certainly preach to us how loving their own version was , but shown us that the right of our living or dead lies with them ,they enforced it to the later.

They taught us how to speak their own language ,how to worship their own God and how to see them as Superior while we are the scum of the earth ,which affected our psych today.

In Africa white is pure ,while black stands for evil, but I digress.

They succeeded in the Western part of this nation ,same way USMAN DAN FODIO succeeded in the North with Savage brutality ,but only the people or the East showed some semblance of resistance and for that the brutal BRITISH marked us for extinction despite the fact that we embraced their religion more .

Fast Forward to pre Independent ,the ZIK of Africa with the same education they gave us bested them ,while other leaders from other tribes lay in askance ,just because of our Republican nature the British swore to cut our tail and that has been the problem will today .

The Hausas plotted to leave Nigeria in 1967 Coup (ARABA) when they hoisted an AREWA FLAG at Ikeja Cantonment ,crafted an Arewa Constitution , the Counter Coup was a plot to announce secession but the British High Commission advised them with the phrase that THEY ARE LANDLOCKED .

They gave the Hausa Premier and emasculated the seat of the President and made it Ceremonial just to make Sure that Nnamdi Azikiwe paid for his effrontery of asking for Independent nation ,which they conceded because they’ve not discovered the Oil deposit.

The Genocide of 1967 was extreme ,a calculated plot and ploy to wipe us away from the surface of the Earth ,the British supplied armament and enough Logistic support to annihilate us even though we accepted their version of religion and they called us Brother (Lip service).

They mauled down our Children ,rape our women ,gave us Kwashiorkor but I digress .

We had no friends that offered us Logistic ,Arms or even water to drink ,we became a social reject ,but I later understood why the aggression became Total.

A Russian General said “Give me 2,000 Biafran Soldiers and I will take the world ” ,we were under fed but once the Tanks rolled in from UBULUAFOR NSUKKA into our hinterland ,we stand up and defend our land with Sticks and Faith , what we had in the entire South East before the Hostile invasion was 264 Riffles ,that gave the impression which the Government used and announced that it was Police action they are bringing, that they will take SOUTH EAST under 48 hours ,but it took 3 Solid years for us to stand down and that 3 years was a captive nightmare to the Western world ,especially when under great and intense hatred and aggression sponsored by the British ,we started FABRICATING OUR OWN GUNS,making Bullets, converting PICK UP TRUCKS into ARMOURED TANKS,we started refining CRUDE OIL and extracting all the extractable in a Mobile makeshift refineries .

We built the first MOBILE RADIO STATION,FIRST RUNWAY that was built on IMPOSSIBLE SOIL and it was invisible to the British Pilots flying our National Bombers .

We trained Pilots who land our Planes at night with just Mpakana (Naked oil Lamp) and also they take off with same near Zero Visibility .

50 years after the Feat of Biafrans achieved under designed and orchestrated hostility ,the Nation that WON the War are yet to have a Functional Refinery and yet they don’t have the uncommon sense to beckon unto those who achieved the feat easily under abnormal condition to come and rescue the nation .

50 years after we built our Tanks,Guns and Bullets ,the Central Army can only boast of ability to FROG JUMP any young man wearing Green Uniform and or shoot the same youth of the people who manufactured armament under intense hostility and that is the feat we have as a nation .

To show that what we did was not spur of the moment ,our own PHILIP EMEGWALI created the first ever SUPER COMPUTER,… During the hostility we manufactured WMD (Weapon of Mass Demolition) called Ogbunigwe but owing to the love abound in our heart we refused to maximize it by deploying it to towns were it may create a near NAGASAKI .

Then when we made the first WORLD INTERCONTINENTAL BALLISTIC MISSLE called FLYING OGBUNIGWE ,it would’ve made HIROSHIMA a child’s play .

The world resolved that they will not allow this Sleeping BLACK NATION TO RISE,because under a conducive setting we will lead the world , a risk the West cannot take ,they wanted slaves and slaves they want us to remain .

50 Years after the drown and dawn of Biafra ,even in neighboring nations the money printed in 1967 is still acceptable and stronger that Dollars and Euro …see the Biafran Dollars and see what quality is all about ,it still stand crisp and without tears ,compare it to even the most current Naira and do the maths .

Ask me do I want BIAFRA TO GO NOW ?

My answer is aggressive NO …WHY ?
We begged to be allowed to go in 1967-1970 and they swore that it can never happen, then Awolowo saw it fit to coin a phrase and I quote “STARVATION IS PART OF WAR ,WE WILL STARVE THEIR CHILDREN TO DEATH ” ,then he took all our money and gave us 20 pounds for every account .
He was expecting that after the genocide that we will become thieves and Robbers and he sponsored a deadly bill that ARMED ROBBERY will face Firing squad with Biafrans tied to the stake ,riddled with bullets in his mind as the final solution to eradication of Ndi Biafra .

Thank God that his ways and thinking are not of God,the first 3 set killed for Robbery are all Yoruba men starting with OYENUSI .

All the companies he gave to Yorubas because he chased away the Idiotic foreign owners with a reason that there is War,even though the War did not touch any western or Northern state but all the Bullets were rained on our soil including Churches, markets, schools .

He gave those companies to his Yoruba brothers who simply liquidated the companies and use the money to send families, Girl friends and friends to London and as we speak they are yet to inapu okuko mkpuru akwu .

We went into world again with 20 pounds and with that we are controlling the PROPERTY prices any where in Nigeria ,if we favor a SWAMP in Lagos ,we turn it to VGC ,if we favor the ones in Abuja we make the value to sky rocket ,,,check all the magnificent houses any where in Nigeria and see that with 20 Pounds we are controlling at least 70% .

In Civil service ,they placed us at back burners and we still thrive and fairing better because for any officer to excel that person must have an IGBO SUBORDINATE who is the brain behind success .

Somebody said to me, why can’t we go back home and replicate what we are doing in other States ?
My answer is, we are not done with other states..the agenda is ..
1) We will show the rest the reason why we must be respected because we let them to taste wealth,we let them to feel fine houses, we let them to sale ancestral grave and land in exchange for money made from 20 pounds and we let them to salivate after the sweet things of life .

How about after building all this and another War comes and they turn it to abandon properties ?

Answer …we are used to it ,they did it in PH and we bounced back stronger and better, but those people who wants to inherit the properties will kill half of the generation fighting who will posses it and eventually when they are done ,the properties won’t have values again because it is only us can buy such at a market value ,after all we are the market setters and sellers .

So possessing the property is a curse with Catapult and nobody that inherits it enjoys it ,because to maintain it is another disaster and your own brother and friend is planning to kill you and take it over .

Read my lips ,if Ndigbo leaves any business environment or residential place in droves, the prices of property will become ZERO .

I know many of you will hate me for this arrogant presentation but what you must known is ,TRUTH IS MY STANDARD ,ACCEPT IT WITH GOOD FAITH OR I SHOVE IT DOWN YOUR THROAT,THE CHOICE IS YOURS ..Mazi Odera.

Moving on ,we fought back from 1967 to 1970 to stay alive ,now we are fighting to keep the nation alive ,so we can posses the best of the nation which is ordinance of God and not of man .

No matter how treacherous the government is ,we can never eat grass .
No matter the price of Rice in the market ,agana agba azi ..
If we can do very well in LONDON ,AMERICA,EUROPE the same people who sat in concert and decide that the peaceful mileage achived in ABURI GHANA when both Gowon and Ojukwu went to find a solution to peaceful coexistence , but the West ill advised the North then and by so doing we created a broken TRIPOD .

If we can do great in their own land ,we can do better in our nation .

We can only leave if they do what Pharaoh did by asking on a bended knee for us to go and then we shall do what the Israelites did by collecting all the Golds,Diamond,Precious Stones and most valuables in the land.

Politics / WE REMEMBER, Biafra Heroes Past… by riverbond(m): 3:00pm On May 30, 2017
Like a phoenix bird, Biafra shall rise again, from the ashes of oppressors, from the crushes of British deformed annexation of Nigeria.
Most of us were not there but was told, on 30th May, 1967, it was Biafra against the world. 50 years today we are still here, fearless before our oppressors, yet greater than they anticipated.

To all the fallen heroes, families, Children starved to death, we remember, we shall not give up until the innocent bloods crying is appeased.
We remember, Major General Chukwuemeka Odumegwu-Ojukwu, Major Patrick Chukwuma Kaduna Nzeogwu, Joseph Achuzie, Augustine Ifeanyi Aniebo, Ogbugo Kalu, Chris Ugokwe, Lambert Ihenacho, Robert Akonobi, Colonel Godfrey Nebo, Conrad Dibia Nwawo and rest.

We remember, Bruce Mayrock who set himself ablaze for the cause.

We remember Israeli pilot Arnon Barak , who painstakingly landed C-97s on the makeshift runway “Airstrip Annabelle.” in Uli, turning Uli into the second busiest airport in Africa after Johannesburg.

We remember these words from our adversary. “I want to see no Red Cross, no Caritas, no World Council of Churches, no Pope, no missionary, no UN delegation. I want to prevent even one Ibo from having even one piece to eat before their capitulation. We shoot at everything that moves and when our troops march into the centre of Ibo territory, we shoot at everything, even things that do not move” (Benjamin Adekunle, Commander, 3rd Marine Commander Division, Nigerian Army to French Radio Reporter).

“All is fair in war, and starvation is one of the weapons of war. I don’t see why we should feed our enemies fat in order for them to fight harder”, (Chief Obafemi Awolowo, Nigerian Minister of Finance, July 28, 1969)

We remember the truth embedded in the frame of time. “One word now describes the policy of the Nigerian military government towards secessionist Biafra: genocide. It is ugly and extreme but it is the only word which fits Nigeria’s decision to stop international Red Cross and other relief agencies from flying food to Biafra (Washington Post editorial, July 2, 1969).

“650 refugee camps, contained about 700,000 haggard bundles of human flotsam waiting hopelessly for a meal, outside the camps, was the reminder of an estimated four and a half to five million displaced kwashiorkor scourge, a million and a half children, suffer(ed) from it during January; that put the forecast death toll for another 300,000 children. More than the pogroms of 1966, more than the war casualties, than the terror bombings, it was the experience of watching helplessly their children waste away and die that gave birth to, a deep and unrelenting loathing. It is a feeling that will one day reap bitter harvest unless” (Frederick Forsyth, British Writer, January 21st, 1969)

Crime / Angry Lady Stabs Ex-lover To Death For Proposing To Her Best Friend by riverbond(m): 9:57am On May 12, 2017
A certain Miss Boma Mac-Pepple has reportedly stabbed her ex-boyfriend to death in Opobo community area of Rivers State for proposing to her best friend.
It was gathered that the victim, whose identity was given as Junior Oko-Jaja, had earlier proposed marriage to the suspect, who turned him down.

The disappointed young man went ahead and proposed to the estranged lover’s best friend who accepted him.
Irked by his action, Miss Mac-Pepple went on her Facebook wall and declared his ex-lover wanted.
In a Facebook post accompanied with the picture of the ex-lover, Mac-Pepple wrote, “Any one that sees this boy should not hesitate to call my line 08119181343 or 08082802393 cos every criminal or cultic must be brought to justice, for any crime they committed.
“You won’t regret given us information. thanks do dat for my life…my life is in ur hands now….His name is Nathan Okojaja (properly known with junior) (sic).”

A check on her profile showed that the suspect was a former Cashier at SPAR Nigeria and studied at University of Lagos.

Narrating the genesis of the incident, a certain Frank Ufomadu, said the jilted lady traced the ex-lover to his house and stabbed him to death.
“Fear girls who are smallish in nature. Boma Mac-pepple who is a Chorister in her church, rejected marriage proposal from her boy friend, Junior. The boy later proposed to another of her friend who accepted.
“She then accused the womanizing and they fought. She came to Facebook and declared the boy wanted, then went in search for the boy and stabbed him to death, then ran away.

“You see all these small pepper them gang girls that carry church for head….Run away from them,” said him.
Confirming the incident to DAILY POST, Rivers State Police PRO, Nnamdi Omoni, said the command was aware of the incident, adding that investigation has since commenced on the matter.

“Yes, the police are aware of the incident and action has been taken. I will call you back shortly to get you the full details,” he told our correspondent on Thursday.

Politics / Ifeanyi Ubah: Against Nigeria's Bad Blood & Hate! - By Tobenna Obiano. by riverbond(m): 7:14am On May 12, 2017
I will strive as much as I can to make my points very clear. If it turns out becoming long, well, it's all set out for good.

I care so much about my integrity and it most times, informs my decisions and how they are carried on. Integrity entails a great deal of maintaining a distinct level of carriage in self-discipline, honesty and stand on the side of truth and trust. It goes beyond that, it involves one to go against political correctness but wholly for true correct-fulness, honesty, justice, equity and fairness, always!

I for one, unapologetically will take the lead to shout "foul" if it has been committed or note a person as "criminal" if a crime act is carried out, but more importantly, I will stand firstly for fair hearing, equity, openness and truth always! This Ifeanyi Ubah case won't therefore be any different. I will stand for the truth.

Now, time and time again, one of Nigeria's greatest problem is a failure to learn from her inglorious mistakes of the past. A society that fails to learn from her past is destined to repeat same mistakes that might have led to a disastrous past.

Nigeria has remained a failed entity because of the institutionalized making of a focusless, visionless, dishonest and unintelligent class of leaders they produce who mostly, care less about the histories of the past, the realities of the present and the limitless possibilities inherent in the future.

In Nigeria today, many persons, young and old alike are feeling the heat. Many have overtaken the internet world and social medium sharing their thoughts, worries and disappointments by the Government of the day. Infact and incredibly, those who played roles in instituting this very Government have somehow turned to becoming the worse hit and amongst the wailing wailers. The once popular Sai Baba, Sai Buhari chanters have suddenly gone mum, loosing their voice and hearing.

Well, the above assertion is true because the Government even after two years of endless dramas ranging from a culture of lies, characteristic tribalism, failed campaign promises to loss of millions of jobs, to hiked level of starvation, neglect or total disobedience of court orders, to ranges of abuses and this endless cases of insecurity and inconsistencies. It's become very clear that all is not well and the nation has become more so than ever before, very sickly.

Aside the many avoidable wrongs that has besieged the nation and all her people, nothing has become more terrific, more appalling and more catastrophic like the failure of two main agencies of the Government, the duo of the nation's economic watchdog, the Economic Financial Crimes Commission, the EFCC and the nation's secret police, the Department of State Security service, the DSS.

The two agencies are becoming more of outlaws, where they flout the laws of the land without qualms. The EFCC has been a Government tool used at witch hunting opposition. Also, it lately have been used in acting a dramatized outshow, with litanies of cases of orphaned monies been found only but by them. Shockingly, the Chairman of the agency doesn't even know how much or about what range they have recovered thus far.

The DSS which ordinarily should know better, has become even a worse and shameless entity, used in intimidating, abusing and stampeding on the fundamental rights of the Nigerian people.

A very popular saying reads thus: "if not for law and order, men would have been wolves to fellow men". Well, even with our laws, certain privileged Nigerians who feel to be more Nigerian than other ordinary Nigerians feel that they are above the law. The DSS is acting supreme to the law, this is going by the way they break the law and fail to respect the rights of the citizens of the nation. This is class ignorance and foolishness at highest places. It's becoming very worrisome.

In a commando style, the DSS under the cover of the dark, stole into homes of Judges and came up with accusations and following threats. They failed to respect standing court orders. They disobey the constitution of the land and come up with one or another misleading baseless argument to back their stupendous shameful stands. This days, there are sacred cows or scape goats and on the other side, there are untouchables. This isn't anywhere fair and should be spoken up against in clear terms.

Today, it's the Capital Oil and Gas Boss, Ifeanyi Ubah, tomorrow it could be someone else. As a people, we must speak up.

I read a certain member of the leading political party, a high ranking member of the party from Anambra State asking Igbos, majorly young people writing in solidarity, on various social network mediums to stop embarrassing the Igbo nation for their choice to stand for Chief. Ubah at this moment of unprovoked tribulations and abuse of his rights. Well, my friend, Uncle Joe Igbokwe needs to be called to order and corrected immediately.

Firstly, Ifeanyi Ubah is an Igbo son; a proud one at that. He is one of the best known Nigerian industrialists of all time. His Capital Oil & Gas firm employs nearly a 5000 workforce. Love him or hate him, his friendliness with the Nigerian youth populace is to high heavens and his love for the Igbo nation is unparalleled.

Mr. Ubah, aside owning Nigeria's largest tank farm or storage facility for petroleum products located in South West Nigeria, in an uncommon show of patriotism, showcasing the Igbo philosophy of "Aku lue uno" together with the mantra of "charity begins at home", he stands tall amongst nearly all Igbo sons and daughters of this century, as making the largest investment owned by any single individual in Igboland. His Ifeanyi Ubah Games Village located in the industrial hub of Igboland, Nnewi town is one to be exceedingly proud of.

Yes, Dr. Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah of Capital Oil & Gas is a personal friend of mine. We maintain a very cordial relationship, where we have discussed issues relating to investment, business, policies, leadership including public and private plus aspirations and wishes. Dr. Ubah has on countless occasions both in private and public shown respect and love for many young Nigerians, I included.

Now, if you wonder what Ifeanyi Ubah wants or admires most in those young guys that are very close to him, it's simple, a classy and mostly rare combination of scholarly and street intelligence. I therefore can't deny him now nor choose to remain indifferent at this moment of complexity. Feminists will shout feminism, while persons in my class of thought fight for "humanism". Therefore, it's gone beyond the Ubah person, it's now a matter of National concern. There are a few important verifications that needs to be cleared. Is it right? Is it true? Is it fair?

Not-minding our friendship, it will not stop me from speaking up and loud if he fails, but then, until a court of competent jurisdiction finds him wanting in the allegation, who the heck is Uncle Joe or anyone else to make such abysmal claim that ndi-Igbo, majorly young people should stop clamoring for his immediate release, in the case they say or feel we are embarrassing the Igbo nation. If the DSS is true to their quest, let them take him to court which is the right way to go and not to intentionally continue to incarcerate, dishonor, ridicule or shame him. This is the 21st century and this is wrong.

In case Uncle Joe or those in his line of thought honestly care about those shaming Nigeria or ndi-Igbo, firstly, the Nigerian President has systematically and unapologetically shamed and ridiculed the Nigerian nation state beyond words. His style of embarrassing us has gone National and International.

Formerly we had an Acting President and a Resting President. Today, we have a "Coordinator of Nations" (whatsoever that means), and a sickly incapacitated President who is been treated in London or Germany or wheresoever the cabal expect us to believe, because even after two years in office, his Government hasn't been able to build a worldclass hospital that can treat as little as eardrum problem.

If there are other Nigerians shaming or embarrassing Nigeria, we have Alhaji Lai Mohammed, who has a penchant and unmatched love for lying. It actually seems that he detests telling the truth. Somehow, it might be true that truth hurts him beyond words, as lying has become his way to go. Even on a lighter mood, imagine an Information Minister who doesn't know trendy affairs that Nigerian jollof rice is the best coming to an international television and tell CNN's Richard Quest that Senegal has the most tasty jollof, not Ghana and not Nigeria. Well, that's very shameful.

Even the National Assembly, both the Senate and House of Representatives have embarrassed Nigeria beyond words. If they were to be honest at all, the sickly illiterate man from Daura who happens to be our President should have long been retired by impeachment proceedings back to his cattle rearing.

The duo of the EFCC and the DSS have turned to becoming National embarrassment. The APC as a political party should hide their face in shame. Their level of embarrassment is irredeemable.

Even at State levels, many Nigerian Governors have consistently embarrassed their own. In some part of Nigeria, a First Lady is prideful of building a classless hole-like smallish toilet facility for her community and calling it wonders. Against the using of suspenders and pillars in constructing bridges and flyovers, in some part of Nigeria, a Government raised a wall-like monument as flyover which is slowly falling down with barriers now placed on it. These are those who are embarrassing us, not ordinary young Nigerians who have faith in an uncommon Nigerian who is doing us proud.

I'm not a staff of the Capital Oil & Gas, neither do I have information handy for the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, the NNPC as to ascertain what truly transpired between the nation's apex oil and gas regulatory body and the biggest downstream private oil firm. The much I learnt is that both parties are owing themselves in the case that, the Government even owes more. This doesn't need to involve the judiciary system, it ought to be amicably settled outside the court.

Even if something must be done, why the heck would the CEO of the oil giant be held under lock and keys at the custody of the DSS? This practice is honestly bizarre and alien to some of us. In sane societies, the misdoings and infringement on the rights of individuals, especially this Ubah case is enough to cost some persons their jobs and made to pay heavily.

Also, from certain quarters, it is alleged that the hateful moves are aimed at stopping him from contesting in the forthcoming Anambra State Gubernatorial elections where he is a hopeful. It seems true also, because during the last Anambra State Guber, same faceless cabals came after him and had AMCON overtake his company's management. He went ahead making waves.

Generally, it's on record that the somewhat bad blood of hate by the powers that be against ndi-Igbo is never in doubt. The claim on the inauguration day of an all-inclusive Government of been for nobody in particular, but for everybody in general is a dramatic loud-mouthed readage of no-near reality.

The choice of the Buhari-led Government to subdue, shame and fail the Igbo nation, maybe for gifting him less votes during the last General elections is acting out and I have got news, even if elections are re-contested today, they will still lose badly in Igboland. 2019 is underway, Nigerians have seen enough and are eagerly warming up.

The hate and bad blood against Igbos has lasted for ages. Previous administrations wickedly, with nonsensical policies chased off the once powerful and successful Chief. Cletus Ibeto of Ibeto Cement out of cement business, making way to he, who has grown to become the richest African in the world, Alhaji Aliko Dangote of Dangote Cement.

Somehow, maybe someone has been positioned to overtake Dr. Ifeanyi Ubah in the oil & gas sector and strategizing to becoming another African wealthiest. Well, business used to be the in-thing which was how Dangote with Government input rose, oil took over and that's why the likes of Ubah grew. Now, while they clamor to overtake the oil industry, it's now science and technology where the ICT has taken over. We hope when smarter wizkids of the younger generation springing up from different parts of Igboland arrive, they may again reposition another Musa or Jubril to take over.

I join my voice to that of men and women of goodwill, people who choose to speak up at matters of grave National concern and those who think of respect for rule of law, asking justice for Ifeanyi Ubah and his Capital Oil. I request that the DSS should with immediate effect release him and if they are serious, let them take him to court and make a strong case out of their pursuit.

Where they fail to do so, persons like myself who feel saddened by the height of failure in our society will be left with non other option but to insist on the Ubah team and friends to join in seeking redress and damages in court. I have often called for the massive development of Igboland, if ndi-Igbo, mostly the young stand up for Ubah against the Nigerian Government's ill-treatment of hate and ridicule, what happened under the Nnamdi Kanu's led IPOB will be a child's play.

No one is above the law, not Ubah, not Government agencies and obviously not even the Government herself. Enough of this crass madness.

They rescued the girls that were kidnapped 5 years ago from notorious Boko Haram that would even kill an innocent goat because they're blood thirsty bastards

Where were they rescued from ?? Sambisa Forest ?? Shekau just freed them because he's now a pastor ??

You mean to tell me that these girls were kidnapped 5 years ago, kept in captivity ?? Why do they look healthier than all of the Boko Haram boys, Omenka, Ngeneukwenu and Buhari put together

U r more than 100% right. Many can be deceived bt not all. Rubbish political propaganda.

Culture / Why Lagos Does Not Belong To Yorubas – Oba Akiolu by riverbond(m): 6:05am On May 05, 2017
The Oba of Lagos, Oba Rilwan Akiolu, has claimed that Lagos State is not part of Yoruba land.

Akiolu’s statement is coming barely a week after he publicly humiliated the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi at an event.

In a statement from Akiolu’s palace, the monarch traced the historical background of the state and why it should not be regarded as part of Yoruba land.

The statement reads: “Coming from the palace, with what I was told by my late paternal grandmother who is a descendant of Oba Ovonramwen Nogbaisi and also reading from factual Historical books, let me share this Knowledge with you all on Eko/Lagos.

“Modern day Lagos was founded by Prince Ado, the son of the Oba of Benin, Prince Ado was the first Oba of Lagos, the son of the Bini King, Prince Ado, named the town Eko until the Portuguese explorer Ruy de Segueira changed the Maritime town to Lagos, which at that time from 1942 was Portuguese expedition center down the African Coast.

“It was a major centre of the slave trade until 1851. Lagos was annexed by Britain via the Lagos treaty of cession in 1861, ending the consular period and starting the British Colonial Period. The remainder of modern day Nigeria was seized in 1886 when the Colony and Protectorate of Nigeria was established in 1914 Lagos was declared its capital due to the struggle of the Bini King.

“Lagos experienced growth prior to the British Colonial rule and even more rapid growth during the Colonial rule throughout the 1960s, 70s, continued through the 80s and 90s till date. Thanks to the Awori’s, Bini’s, Yoruba’s, migrants across the nation and world at large, as no particular group of people can take the glory alone.

“Lagos is made up of Lagoons and creeks. The Lagos lagoon, Lagos Harbour, five cowne creeks, Ebute-Metta creeks, Porto-Novo creeks, New canal, Badagry creeks, Kuramo waters and Light house creeks.

“The Awori’s and Bini’s are known to be the first settlers of the Eko land. The Awori’s are speakers of a distinct dialect close to that of the Yoruba language with a rich Bini mixture. Traditionally, Awori’s were found in Ile-Ife, they were known to be the Bini’s who followed their self-exiled Prince, the first son of the Ogiso (now called Oba) of Benin Kingdom, whose step-mother was after his head.

“The exiled Benin Prince Izoduwa known to the Yorubas as Ooduwa (Oduduwa) was made ruler of the Ife people due to his powers and followers from the Great Benin-Kingdom.

“Izoduwa (Ooduwa) was made the first King of Ile-Ife in 1230 AD. His followers from his father’s Kingdom in Benin are the today’s Awori people who settled in Eko now called Lagos.

“In the 1300, the King of Benin-Empire heard from one of his traders who was a settler in Eko on how the Bini’s were treated by the Awori’s who lived in their area. Upon hearing this, the King of Benin commanded the assembling of a war expedition, led by his son, Prince Ado, which headed the settlement of the Awori’s and demanded explanation.

“On arriving Eko, Prince Ado and his Army were more than received. The Aworis asked the Bini Prince to stay and become their leader. Ado agreed on the condition that they surrender their sovereignty to the Oba of Benin, to which the people agreed. Hearing this, the King of Benin gave his permission for Prince Ado and the expedition to remain in Eko.

“The Oba of Benin sent some of his chiefs including the Eletu, Odibo, Obanikoro and others to assist his son, Oba Ado in the running of Eko.

“From the crowing of Prince Ado as the first Oba of Lagos (then called Eko), Lagos served as a major center for slave trade from which the Aworis, the Oba of Benin and his son the Oba of Lagos and all the children/descendants who took over as his successors for over four centuries supported the trade.

“The Oba of Benin was the head of the Benin Empire which are the present day Western, Southern and Eastern modern day Nigeria. The King never obliged anyone to speak the Bini language as he believed everyone was entitled to their own choice of language.

“The name Eko was given to it by the first king of Lagos, Oba Ado, the young and vibrant Prince from Benin. Eko was the land now known as Lagos Island, where the king palace was built.

“The palace is called Idugaran meaning “palace built on pepper farm” Oba Ado and the warriors from Benin together with the early Bini’s settlers in Eko and the Awori people settled in the southern part of Eko called “Isale Eko”. “Isale literally means bottom “. Must have been used to indicate downtown (as in down town Lagos)

“Until the coming in of the Benin’s 1300AD , Lagos geographical boundary was Lagos mainland, Lagos Island, the seat of the Oba of Lagos then consisted of a pepper farm and fishing post. No one was living there.

“About 1450 AD some Yorubas who hailed from Isheri in Ogun-state and Ekiti were allowed by the King to settle in Eko during a war, they came in a very large numbers thereby surpassing the numbers of the Awori’s and Bini’s. (Hence Yorubas claim to own Eko due to their numbers).

“Oba Ado fell in love with a beautiful woman whose father was Awori and mother a daughter to one of the chief; they had two sons and also a daughter Erelu Kuti, who begot Ologun Kutere who later became King

TBJ should be very careful not to go to jail in Israel. A lot of things he gets away with in Nigeria would have put him permanently in prison in Israel, the building collapse where hundreds died is an example. They don't joke with taxes also and some of his deliverance practices may be frowned at in such a civilised world.

Isreal don't have such half baked building Engrs Nigeria have. As saying goes, when u go to rome u behave like one. When he get to that bridge of tax he will cross it.
