Compared to Israel, the Palestinians have no power or strength. Certainly all cruelty is wrong and so if Hamas is perpetrating cruelty, then the Muslim countries should also stop them. However, if you are to compare the relative strengths and cruelties of the two sides, it is as if one side is using a stick, whilst the other side is utilizing a fully equipped army to perpetrate its injustice. Muslim leaders must take more ownership over their youth, and Israel and Palestine must hold themselves accountable to justice — otherwise peace is a mere fantasy. Israel has the obligation of treating Palestine as there once accommodator, that gave them a home when all forsaken them. Anybody coming up with a reasonable argument should note and take to consideration , the fact that no country can take what is happening to Palestine |
Arab blood and Jewish blood are human blood — and all blood is equal No justification exists for civilian deaths. The concept of self-preservation or a “zero-sum” game does not work in our global village or by any moral compass. The idea that Arab blood is more valuable than Jewish blood, or that Jewish blood is more valuable than Arab blood, is modern day racism in all its ugliness. A Palestinian child has just as much right as an Israeli child, and vice versa. Any action by either side that ignores this principle is a violation of human rights and derails the peace process. Let us rid ourselves of the cancer of justifying collateral damage and recognize all human life is equal. |
Since Israel was created by the United Nations, it must live by the United Nations. The hardline pro-Palestine argument states that since Palestine never approved the creation of Israel, they will not recognize Israel. The pro-Israel side states the opposite — the United Nations created us by democratic vote so we are here to stay. Israel is right. The reality is we cannot undo history. Israel has the right to exist and is here to stay — no amount of arguing or fighting will undo that. That fact established, we cannot stop the UN conversation here. A nation born by the UN must live by the UN. Since Israel’s creation, the United Nations has passed at least 42 Resolutions against Israel for violating international law — 17 of which were passed before Hamas existed. These include resolutions condemning Israel for illegal practices against civilians in Lebanon, condemning Israel’s contravention of the Fourth Geneva Convention, calling on Israel to withdraw from all Palestinian territories, calling on Israel to recognize the Palestinian right of return, and calling on Israel to respect Muslim holy places. Post-Hamas, the UN has passed Resolutions against Israel to abide by and accept the Fourth Geneva convention, condemning Israel’s invasion of Lebanon, condemning Israel’s killing of UN employees of the World Food Program, and condemning Israel settlements established since 1967 as illegal — all of which have nothing to do with Hamas. This further establishes point two above that Hamas is not the root cause of this conflict. Unfortunately and remarkably, Israel has asked and the United States has agreed to veto all 42 of these UN Resolutions. Israel cannot have it both ways. It cannot on one hand claim legitimacy by citing the United Nations decision to create Israel, and then ignore UN enforcement to hold Israel accountable to international law. If UN decisions are invalid now, then they were invalid at Israel’s creation. Likewise, and reasonably, since UN decisions were valid upon Israel’s creation, they must also be valid now and Israel must maintain justice accordingly |
We are all conversant with the Israel/ Palestine war but failed to get the facts related to it. We accept the media publications, hook and sinker without any reasonable argument. What is the fact ? The beginning of it all Some insist on arguing that Palestine is inherently anti-Semetic. This is untrue and Palestine’s historical actions prove otherwise. Before Israel’s creation, Palestine willingly accepted some 700,000 Jewish refugees escaping World War I and the Holocaust. This is a massive number considering Palestine’s Muslim population in 1947 was only around 1.2 million. That said, Palestine did not vote for the creation of Israel. Instead Israel’s creation was imposed on Palestine by the United Nations. We often hear the talking point “no country on Earth would tolerate rockets raining down on its civilians.” No doubt this is true, but in fairness we must also accept that no country on Earth would tolerate being split in two without the right to self-determination or a say in the matter. If you disagree, imagine if tomorrow the United Nations decided half of your country would go to another nation of people — while you have no say in the matter. In short, Palestine served as a haven for Jewish refugees before Israel’s creation. It is important to draw on this history when trying to find common ground for the future. |
cristianisraeli:I am so sorry bro, I dont subscribe to this fallacy, I do my best to reason correctly hence I know a fallacious argument when I come across one. (Attacking the personality) mind you I am not what you think and it pains me so much that yoou reason so poorly with all the knowledge instill in you. I pray its not a case of resources wasted |
truthstands11:Are you informed that most of the cattle breed indigenous to this part of the world cant be reared in a ranch system. I mean what we have are the nomadic tending breed of cattle, if you keep this kind of breeds in a confined space, you dont only limit their potentials but also imprisoned them which is against the animal right we also subscribe to in our country. However like I mentioned earlier I dont support unlawful entrance into properties of other citizens. I will rather call for a more holistic correction to this national situation. Mind you I am not in anyway connected to the Fulani, I am just a truth crusader |
I think Gender is actually equal but in different ways. I think a woman that thinks she can do what a man does better is practicing misplaced priority because in the real sense she can do what a man cannot do and vice-versa. If wee got to be honest to ourselves, when a woman need protection from man who gives her? When a man is protecting a woman he his protecting her from who?. When you protect a woman you protect your mother, your sister, your wife, your daughter. To every man and woman in this world we are equal but in unequal ways. A man will not be pregnant ideally and a woman cant impregnate a woman. A man ,may do as a single father, a woman may do as a single mother, but nobody wants that to happen to them because we no the issues associated with single parenting. This world was perfectly created but Humans seek for a better perfection, However, what did we get, we get natural problems that had being solved by the almighty before we decided to reinvent it |
I will like to point out the intolerance that always happen to be thee case, when religion related issues comes up. the same set of people shouting dont listen to Muslims clamoring for fasting relieve on NYSC camp and military recruitment . I dont know why we get so sentimental and blame everything on our differences. I cant believe the amount of intellectuals we got as Christians cant understand what the education board is trying to do or maybe they rather got something to gain. I will try and explain to those that care to know. Since English is a language widely use by Christians and Arabic is widely used by Muslims. The government is trying to get a balance by making Arabic a language to be studied in schools but not as a primary language but as a second language just like french. the new subject is not a religion subject but a language subject |
Let me mention that the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria say under Chapter IV, Section 41-(1) “Every citizen of Nigeria is entitled to move freely throughout Nigeria and to reside in any part thereof, and no citizen of Nigeria shall be expelled from Nigeria or refused entry or exit there from” Section 42-(1) added “A citizen of Nigeria of a particular community, ethnic group, place of origin, sex, religion or political opinion shall not, by reason only that he is such a person - (a) be subjected either expressly by, or in practical application of any law in force in Nigeria or any executive or administrative action of the government, to disabilities or restrictions to which citizens of Nigeria of other communities, ethnic groups, places of origin, sex, religious or political opinions are not made subjects; ……” I will also like to mention that from time in memorial the Fulani herdsmen had coexist with everyone of us with their nomadic attitude. The Law also provide for their animals/cattle. But sincerely speaking its wrong to allow Cattle to encroach illegally on other citizens property. However my bone of contention is that we as Nigerian should learn to treat one another as brothers. What if you are the one that is at the receiving end. what if your means of livelihood will be taken away from you. The plant farmers will protect their crops but at the same point animal farmers will protect their livestock. Lets think tank together and get a way out of this menace, This cattle are Nigeria's pride just as Oil and palm and other farm produce. I as an Agricultural student knows the importance of Farm animals to our survival as a nature, to our food protection and economy. Will you rather we import beef that has been processed with poisonous chemical at heightened price. Lets reason correctly cause what goes around comes around |
kpaminose:I say no Muslim should come here and try to prove to anybody his/ her religion is peaceful. Also no right thinking christian should come here pointing fingers at others. Firstly religion is more of an individual thing, spiritual faith can only be between you and your God. The group we attend, the church, the mosques all serve as just a boast to our faith if there is anything. I hope the Christians here are aware that merely pointing of fingers on here amount to you judging another person and that is against the Christianity preaching I know. |

Meet Mandy Harvey,A Deaf Singer, who blesses others with her voice but never hears Her Voice Mandy Harvey (born January 2, 1988) is a deaf American jazz singer and songwriter. A Vocal Music Education major at Colorado State University, Mandy lost her hearing in 2006-2007 at age eighteen and left the university.[1] She pursued several career options, including education, but returned to music in 2008. Smile (2009) is a self-produced album and has received acclaim from jazz critics. Her third album "All of Me" (2014) was released in November 2014. Mandy was born in Cincinnati, Ohio before moving to Florida at age two. Mandy is one of four children of Joe and Valerie Harvey. Daughter to a minister and to a public school teacher, Mandy showed an early talent for singing, but also suffered reoccurring hearing problems. At age ten (1998), her family moved to Longmont, Colorado, where Mandy attended middle school at Twin Peaks Charter Academy. Mandy participated in choral groups and music competitions in high school, including traveling with one such group to sing in Australia. Her vocal talent blossomed during her high school years and she was recognized as the "Top Female Vocalist" at the Longmont High School graduation ceremony (2006). fter graduating from Longmont High School (Longmont, CO) in 2006, Mandy applied and was accepted to Colorado State University. Mandy was one of fifteen students that year that were accepted at CSU to be vocal majors. During her freshman year, however, she lost hearing (110 decibels) in both ears. The hearing loss was theorized by doctors to be the result of a genetic connective tissue disorder exacerbated by medications used during knee surgeries[citation needed] Whatever the cause, discouraged, Mandy left CSU and returned to Longmont, where she took American Sign Language classes and courses in Elementary Education at a local community college. Once she returned home Mandy decided that she would take a year off of singing, but she did continue to play the guitar with her father. One day while searching the internet Mandy and her father discovered a song titled "Come Home" by OneRepublic. Mandy's father suggested that she learn the lyrics so that they could make a home recording. Mandy thought this would be impossible, but she gave it her best effort. She was able to read the music and sing in key, which brought her to the realization that she didn't have to give up on singing A 2008 visit with her former college music professor, Cynthia Vaughn, led Mandy to revive her music passion. Vaughn introduced Mandy to renowned jazz pianist Mark Sloniker at Jay's Bistro in Fort Collins, where she became a fixture for several years.[3] In 2011 Mandy won VSA's International Young Soloist Award[4] and returned in 2014 to perform a full concert at the Kennedy Center. She now travels as a jazz soloist and a motivational speaker. She is also an ambassador with the non profit organization No Barriers. In 2017, Harvey appeared on America's Got Talent where she sang an original song. Her performance prompted judge Simon Cowell to give her the 'golden buzzer', which allowed her to go straight through to the live performances. Her Discography(albums) includes: Smile (2009) After You're Gone (2010) All of Me (2014) This showcase that there is nothing like impossible, Break the limits, go extra miles and show the world you can do whatever you want to do. No matter your shortcomings, don't give up. You can actually utilize your weakness as it makes you unique and extraordinary

Kevin Oghenetega Tamaraebi Bakumo-Abraham Abraham joined Chelsea at U8 level and progressed through the clubs academy system.[3] He was part of the Chelsea youth side which recorded back to back triumphs in both the UEFA Youth League and the FA Youth Cup in 2015 and 2016.[3] In the 2016 edition of the UEFA Youth League, Abraham pitched in with a return of eight goals in nine matches, making him the tournament's second highest goal scorer.[4] He carried his form over in to the FA Youth Cup and netted the winning goal in Chelsea's victory over Manchester City in April.[5] During the 2014–15 and 2015–16 seasons Abraham scored 74 goals in 98 matches across all competitions for Chelsea's various youth sides.[6] On 5 August 2016, Abraham signed for Championship side Bristol City on a season-long loan from parent club Chelsea, with no recall clause, and was assigned the vacant number nine shirt upon arrival.[9] He made his debut for the club the following day, coming off the bench for fellow debutant Josh Brownhill to score City's first goal in a 2–1 come-from-behind win over Wigan Athletic,[10] although the goal was later credited to Hörður Magnússon instead.[11] Abraham started in his second game and scored the only goal of the match in a 1–0 win over Wycombe Wanderers, helping Bristol City advance to the Second round of the Football League Cup.[12] The following week, on 13 August, he scored his first professional brace in a 2–1 victory over newly promoted Burton Albion, including the last-minute winner.[13] In September, Abraham scored his second brace against Sheffield Wednesday, although Bristol City ultimately lost 3–2.[14] He scored a further two goals during the month which saw him named Football League Championship Player of the Month for September.[15] He was also awarded the EFL's Young Player of the Month award for September.[16] On 31 January 2017, Abraham scored his 16th Championship goal in the 2–2 draw against Sheffield Wednesday, which saw him break the record of former Fulham striker Moussa Dembélé for the most goals scored by a teenager since the beginning of the Football League Championship era.[17] Abraham ended the season with 23 goals to his name, second only to Chris Wood of Leeds United, as Bristol completed the campaign in 17th position, thereby avoiding relegation.[18] His performances throughout the season also earned him Bristol City’s Player of the Year, Young Player of the Year and Top Goalscorer awards. In doing so, he became the first ever to play to earn all three awards in the same season.[19] Abraham has represented England at both U18 and U19 level. He scored his first goals at age group level for England in March 2015, netting a brace as England U18 beat Switzerland 6–1.[20] Later that year, while representing the U19 side against Japan, Abraham and teammate Patrick Roberts played a game of rock–paper–scissors on the pitch to decide who would take a penalty. Abraham was triumphant but missed the resultant spot-kick. Just a minute later, however, Roberts assisted Abraham for the second goal of the match, which ultimately ended 5–1 in England's favour.[21] On 6 July 2016, Abraham was one of four Chelsea players named in Aidy Boothroyd's squad for the U19 European Championship.[22] He featured in three out of four matches as England were eliminated by Italy in the semi-final.[23] Abraham also received his first Under 21 call-up on 29 September 2016. On 23 August 2016, Solanke was involved in Chelsea's matchday squad for their EFL Cup home tie against Bristol Rovers for the first time since making his debut in October 2014. However, Solanke remained as an unused sub in the blues' 3–2 victory.[29] With contract talks at an impasse Solanke was frozen out of the first team picture for the rest of the season and, in February 2017, Chelsea manager Antonio Conte confirmed that it was likely that Solanke would leave the club in the summer upon the expiry of his contract.[30][31] Liverpool On 30 May 2017, it was confirmed that Solanke had agreed to join Liverpool on 1 July upon the expiration of his Chelsea contract.[32] The fee will be decided by a tribunal, with Liverpool expected to pay around £3 million.[33] Solanke has represented England at all youth team levels.[34] In May 2014, Solanke was part of the England squad that won the 2014 UEFA European Under-17 Championship. fineboynl:Get some brain Please. I pray something bad wont happen to you and someone close to you. though your theory is a possible one, that doesn't give you any right to commit a sleepy slope fallacy by jumping abruptly to conclusion. Moreover the mother involve stated the condition around her daughter's death and you are here contesting it. I dont wish you bad, but I will like to give you an instance, where you got involve in a situation where beyond all doubts you could be proven wrong but on the contrary you did nothing wrong. Its very possible the mothers theory is correct plus this theory is even the one tabled before a court of law. |
Its so so funny how we keep on preaching "One Love keep us together, Love your neighbor as yourself" and Africans always do the otherwise, One thing that will keep hunting us is our disunity. I stand to be corrected a bunch of broom will forever be better than a stick from the bunch. Until we look for development outside of disunity. Until as people we accommodate our differences, Until we appreciate the fact that we all are not perfect, Until we we see goodness in our Unity rather than disunity. I say If we get broken down into smaller units, what about the differences in every families in each tribes, what about intra- tribal conflict, What about the fact that the south is suppose to be united like the North is united, but we still broken. What about the fact that Biafra will have its problems, What about the fact that Oduduwas will also have it problems and what about the fact that Arewas will have its problems. What about the fact that this problems can always break us no matter how strong our bond, if we dont look beyond what differentiate us. I think what we need to do is, Appreciate one another and grow together. If we have been doing this before, we could have statesmen without bias intention representing Nigeria truly. |

It baffles me how people make senseless and baseless argument just to drive their point home. I want to make clear a point. For those of you that keeps saying Oil companies in the oil producing regions are employing Yorubas. I want you to know that its either you dont know what is going on, or you are actually the one in charge of the wrong going on. So what is going on ? I want to inform you that I have nothing less that five friends in the oil companies and are working in the south-south region. For purpose I dont know the original beneficiaries of the working slot(i.e the youths of this region) go about selling the slots to outsiders for meager price of 200k+ and the outsiders gets to work in the oil companies with the fake Identity that belongs to one real indigene of the region. So its so funny how some people sell their future and go about playing blame game when problems arise. I will advice that we all get hardworking and stop depending on cheap money. I also will like to say that Capitalist economy is for ever the best, anywhere where the government fend for the people they will always become so lazy |

-Second Republic governor of Kaduna State, Alhaji Balarabe Musa, speaks on the state of the nation in this interview obtained by NAIJ.com - He said the South-East has not had their fair share since after the civil war - He also asked for the reconciliation of Nigerians It is May 29, another Democracy Day? What is your take on the state of the nation? It is May 29, another Democracy Day? What is your take on the state of the nation? May 29 has nothing to do with democracy, it is just a day in Nigeria’s history when the military handed over power to a civilian government. So that does not amount to the day being called Democracy Day. Democracy means more than that. Democracy means the absolute will and supremacy of the will of the people. This administration is not fit to be called democratic, it’s mere political manipulation to cover the reality. The reality is that there is civilian dictatorship in Nigeria! But it is being presented as the will of the people. Are you saying that what we have is far from the will of the people? It is absolutely far from the will of the people! With the level of disunity in the country and dictatorship, do you call that democracy? How do you call what we have democracy when there is this high level of poverty and anger in the land? How can you tag this as democracy when there is the leading role of the private sector in the economy? The disabling level of corruption cannot be such a thing that would happen in a democratic setting! Let us stop deceiving ourselves that we have democracy by calling May 29 Democracy Day. With the fight against corruption by this administration being hailed, do you see this as an achievement? Government is divided into the legislative arm, the executive arm and the judiciary arm. The two heads of one of the three arms of government, the Senate President and the Speaker of the House of Representatives, have made it quite clear that the anti-corruption campaign is not realistic and has been affected by a number of negative factors such as political marginalization, revenge and selective punishment. These factors have taken over the anti-corruption campaign! Some groups have been calling for the restructuring of Nigeria. What is your stand? Some people are actually agitating for legislative restructuring in Nigeria is very necessary. Since the amalgamation of the Southern and the Northern protectorates in 1914 by our colonial masters, we ought to have realized that there are many things we ought to look into, like reviewing some of our policies, and in the process dropping the insignificant once that are not moving us forward as a nation and deepening the ones that would better the lives of citizenry. For instance, the dividing of the nation into 36 units has not favorable us as a nation. We ought to go back to when we were running four regions. READ ALSO: Pictures of Nigerian civil war - From starving children to execution of Nigerian soldiers Every country worldwide has a system that work for it. But in Nigeria self interest comes first while public interest is secondary. We should take that out if our system so that public interest comes first and self comes last. From the colonial rule up till the military took over in 1956, the system controlling development in Nigeria was based on public interest. That was the reason we did not have at that time this disabling level of corruption back then. Nobody could steal public fund unlike what you have today. People are agitated about the issue of poor power supply but this can be taken care of when we put public interest first and we are selfless. But it is believed in many quarters that the 2014 National Conference report, if implemented by the Buhari administration, is what we require to take us out of our structural challenges. You don’t share that view? ADVERTISING inRead invented by Teads Former President Jonathan’s National Conference is nonsense! It doesn’t represent the will of Nigerians. Jonathan brought about that conference in order to facilitate his second term bid! So why should Nigerians be boxed into accepting the report? One of the challenges we have as a people in Nigeria is the gap in education between the North and the South. It is 40 years gap. It means the North is 40 years behind the South in educational development. With such gap, how do you expect unity and who do you think would be at the forefront forever? As long as the gap is not bridged, the North would feel threatened. That is the problem. And it has been like this since the inception of Nigeria. For instance, in 1951, there was only one secondary school in the North, while there were about 100 in the South and nothing was done to bridge the gap. For as long as this continues, we may not have peace and progress in this country. Do you think the South-East has had a fair share in the affairs of Nigeria since after the civil war? Sincerely, the South-East has not had their fair share since after the civil war. Their marginalization is quite obvious. If the policy of reconstruction, reintegration and reconciliation of Gen.Gowon and the late Gen.Murtala Muhammed had continued, the agitation by the few Igbo for the Biafra state would have been a thing of the past. It is the marginalization that is making a small section of the Igbo to agitate for Biafra. If the reconstruction and reconciliation policy had been continued, there wouldn’t have been any need for Biafra because the number of the Igbo asking for Biafra is not more than 10 percent. The majority of the Igbo crave for a better Nigeria particularly because of their civil war experience and they are prepared to fight for the unity of Nigeria. The majority of Igbo leaders have said in clear terms that they want a better Nigeria where they can expand because their people are enterprising in nature. And as you are aware, people that are enterprising would prefer a big community to a small community. Some of them desire a better Nigeria because they don’t want the previous experience of war to repeat itself. But the agitation for Biafra is a ticking time – bomb just as the level of poverty in Nigeria. Like I said earlier, the system of development in Nigeria tends to divide the people. There was a time in history when the Igbo were targeted and isolated because they were enterprising all because of the system that operates in Nigeria. And it is possible the system continues to marginalise some people until there is a brutal revolution. What would be your advice to this administration in that regard? There is no point advising them. What you can do is to compete for power and change the situation. Because how do you advise somebody whose position is always negative. The Chairman of the APC, Chief Odigie – Oyegun said recently that the situation in Nigeria will not change for the next eight years. Oyegun is the Chairman of the party controlling the government. So should we allow them to continue when they cannot bring about any obvious and qualitative change. What Oyegun said is an evidence of the complete failure of the APC government. Mathematically it’s means if we rely on APC we will never get out of our predicament forever. How do Nigerians go about the actual change they envisage as a people? The first step is to reconcile Nigerians. Secondly the system controlling the country is based on self-interest first and public interest secondary. This system should be changed in favor of public interest first. And we can begin this by taking leadership role in the states to ensure peace, equality and justice and we take it up to the development of the whole country. |
Buhari, you are a failure – Islamic scholar surprisingly says, urges Nigerians to reject PDP,APC (Dr) Ahmad Abubakar Gumi, an Islamic scholar says the president has failed Nigerians - He also urged Nigerians to reject both the APC and PDP - Gumi argued that in the administration of President Buhari, senior officials were getting away with stealing and corruption An Islamic scholar, Sheikh (Dr) Ahmad Abubakar Gumi has insisted that the President Muhammadu Buhari APC-led administration has failed woefully. Sheikh Gumi said this while assessing the administration of President Buhari and the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in the last two years. According to the cleric, the president and the party performed below expectations. Going further, the cleric urged Nigerians to reject the ruling party and the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) as well. He said: “The problem is that no matter how good you are as a leader, you should have a team. If you put Maradona in a bad team, no one will pass the ball to him in order to score a goal. The APC government has failed for lack of a team”. “Every failure has reasons. When a patient dies in the hospital, there is usually a post mortem examination to determine the direct cause of death. We have symptoms but they may not be the cause of death. “The widespread suffering in the country is a symptom of an underlying disease afflicting the nation that needs to be tackled. But if the government has been listening all along, it could have alleviated the problem or it could have done more than it is doing. “I can imagine somebody who has nothing. How is he surviving? How is he paying his children’s school fees? How can he treat his children when they are sick? How can he feed? So, when you look at all these indices, you will know that it is a miracle that we are still existing. “So, if we want to do a post mortem on this government, you have to look far beyond the inception of the administration. Like I said, they inherited some of the defects and the solution would have been to manage Nigeria as a critically ill patient.” Sheikh Gumi lso faulted the leadership qualities of the ruling party. “Now, there is too much hostility and bad blood in the country. All I know is that all Nigerians are one. What we need was someone to correct us”, he told New Telegraph. “This is the time to bring people together, the kind of leader that Nigeria needs at this critical time is the one that can pacify. Not one that will show that he is clean and the other person is dirty. No. He should show that we are all dirty, let us all come and clean ourselves. “So, the so-called clean party which has the broom, who is it trying to sweep? It is so antagonistic. It is so provocative that it has divided the country. If your house is also dirty, you cannot clean someone’s house. People thought that change is coming when it was not possible to effect that change," he said. PAY ATTENTION: Read the news on Nigeria’s #1 new app Speaking on corruption, Gumi reflected that even in the administration of President Buhari, senior officials were getting away with stealing and corruption. “The allegations of corruption are already been made against the (suspended) Secretary to the Government of the Federation, of a government that is fighting corruption. And the government cannot do anything besides suspension. “The present administration came to rule Nigeria using the slogan of war against corruption and this is disrupting the unity of the country. The unity of the country is more important than the money that people stole; more important than the current underdevelopment that we are witnessing,” he said. Meanwhile, acting President Yemi Osinbajo on Saturday, May 27, appointed a new Director General for the National Pension Commission (PENCOM).

I WANT TO SAY IT NOW, JUST THE WAY I HAVE BEEN SAYING IT. PUT RELIGION APART, THE NORTHERNERS ARE MORE HONEST THAN ME AND MY FELLOW SOUTHERNERS...victor Owens Teddy Dr Andrew Yakubu, has admitted, the ownership of the $9.8m and £74,000 recovered in a secret save in one of his luxury houses that his brother is staying. When EFCC busted the house on the 3rd of February 2017, the brother said the house and the money belong to his brother Dr Andrew Yakubu, former NNPC GMD. Though Yakubu said the money was a gift from an unnamed person, we are yet to see his Kaduna state people taking to the street to say leave Yakubu alone. It will be recalled that when EFCC freezes the account of Patience Jonathan with over $35M, there was a protest by some Southern irritants, when EFCC found over $5m in one of Deziani accounts, she denied ownership, even when court asked Deziani to forfeit another $153m to the FG recently, there was denial and litigation, Fani Kayode wife was denied access to withdrawal from a frozen account my people went crazy. Dasuki has been in detention for aiding to loot Nigeria, my Northern brothers are not protesting, Al Mustafa spent 14 years in detention for an alleged murder, there was no Northern party for him when he was released. My Southern brother spent 5 years in jail in the UK for looting his state dry, there has been wide jubilation and big reception to the the extent that a whopping 350M is set aside for the celebration. That is how immorality has come to be our best friend in the South yet you read or hear them blame or wish a God sent leader death. You will continue to be a fool or bury in ignorance if you continue to blame Buhari for recession or high cost of foreign currencies. Tell all your thieves that you celebrate and adore to bring out all the money they stole and exchange to foreign currencies, there will be surplus to buy that will force the prices down to bring down cost of commodities. Kudos to my Northern brothers for standing against stealing and looting O SAY IT NOW, JUST THE WAY I AM BEEN SAYING IT. The surgeon doing the repair work set up a budget of 150 per.month for paying him back over several years, he normally asked for full payment in advance. She explained her situation and said could not afford it and would have to wait. As she was leaving he stopped her and she what about 75 could you afford That? She said it was stretching it but she could afford 75 a month. He said no just 75 dollars and she could.take as long as she wanted to pay him. We are talking 1000's of dollars. Some people just have huge hearts " "I was eating at McDonald's in Muskogee back in January and a mother and son came in he had lost his job and they were trying to get some ok lunch but didn't have enough I got up and told the lady to give them what they wanted because I have walked in their shoes not long ago " "When I worked at a toy store, we had people that would come in and pay off other people's layaway orders. I'll never forget the tears in people's eyes as they heard. One little old lady broke down completely as she was afraid her payment would be late since her social security check had come in late and those were the presents for her grandkids. " "I was working the drive thru at a fast food place one time this car pulled up and she wanted to pay for the car behind her. She started a chain that day each person was paying for the next car it lasted through 16 cars. Little things warm my heart! " "I work in retail and when I see these types of things it warms my heart, it lets me know people still have a sense of humanity left I remember on Christmas eve I was working and the family had come through my line with about 4 or 5 children a mom and a dad and they had two huge cartfuls of groceries (totalling up to about $450) at the end of my register an older woman is standing there looking and the mom is still unloading while dad was watching over the kids all of a sudden the women pulls out a 100 dollar bill comes up and hands it to me and tells me to put it towards their groceries and then walked out, when I had told the mother what has happened she turned around in shock and nearly started crying I will never forget that day and I hope all of you that can act in some sort of way... I see these types of situations all the time and it kills me that I can't help everybody... Spread kindness we need more of it even if it's just a little gesture <3 " "That's so weird I'm seeing this. I work in a pharmacy and lady came to get her medicine but didn't have enough money to pay for it and a man overheard and paid for the medicine for her. Needless to say I was choking back tears. " " I am in the military and a few years ago I went home on leave to visit my mother. I wanted to take her out to eat but I didn't have a lot of money at the time. So we went to Dennys and I was prepared to spend what I needed to so she would be able to get what she wanted. I didn't tell her that I didn't have a lot of money. We got our food and ate and had a great time. At the end of the meal I asked for the check and the waitress brought me a piece of paper with a note on it. It said that our meal had been paid for by an elderly couple who had already left. They had seen us and said that I was the only young man in the restaurant who took his hat of at the table to eat. They thought it was nice to see a young man who still had proper manners and wanted to bless us. Unknowingly, they gave me blessing far greater than they realized that day. Years later and I have never forgotten their kindness and I hope to one day repay that with the same kindness to someone else " " I offered a homeless man some money one day.. he said "you're the 3rd person in a half hour to offer me money so, no thank you, I have enough for today".. I said "then use it tomorrow ", he said "No, because you might meet someone who needs it today!".. TRUE STORY.. never judge! " |
Posted By Uknown Person " I remember one time I had left McDonald's and there was a homeless man standing outside asking for food. I had bought a pretty good amount of food and I decided that I would give my part of the food to him and just share with my bf. So I gave them the two McChicken's I had bought as well as one of the fries. He was extremely grateful and when I got to the car my bf remarked that he saw the guy walk down with the food in hand. Curious, he drove us further down and we saw him kneeling and giving all the food to two girls that were sitting on the cement. I remember getting so emotional that I asked my bf if we could just give them the rest of the food. He got out of the car with me and we handed the man and the children the other meal and the drinks and my bf handed him a $20. The man began to cry and refuse but we insisted. Since I work in social services I also gave him a list of places he could go with the children for temporary shelter and assistance. At the end of the thing the man promised he would go and get himself and children back on track. He was an immigrant that was laid off and had no family. He had paid to bring his children to the US and was even contemplating being deported back. Sometimes I wonder what happened to the family. All I can do is help when I am able to and hope for the best. I believe that's what it means to be human." " I was in subway the other day on my break. This lady was in front of me . She saw my work shirt and said oh your on break. I daid yeah. She said well get in front I can wait. I said thank you. When I paid for my meal I tole the chashier. That ladys meal is on me. And walk out." " Once I was holding up the self checkout line, counting change over and over because I came up short. I had to put back 2 packs of Ramen because I couldn't afford them. Equivalent of 2 dimes. The lady behind me, instead of being impatient, asked me if she could buy them for me. I refused but she asked again, and I just stepped aside. That was the most poor I've ever been. Fast forward a couple months later when my job is giving me better hours and I have help on bills, a lady in front of me was buying juicy juice and diapers but was short a dollar. She walked out to her car to look for change, visibly upset. I paid the difference and thought of the woman who did the same to me. I wasn't impatient. I wasn't angry she took too long. Kindness is what we need more of." " Something like that happened to our family. I was at the orthodontist with my 3 girls, 2 of them getting their monthly check up. Then in the middle of their appointment (both in chairs side by side) the receptionist got a call from a hospital where my husband was taken by ambulance he was having a heart attack. Husband was able to give the Dr. the place of where we were at. Dr. D pulled both girls from the chairs immediately after quickly fixing them enough to hold them over for a few days. All went well with husband then when I went to pay our monthly payment Dr. D came out and said there was a 0 balance. We had about another 10 months to pay but he insisted it was a 0 balance. We were so thankful because husband was out for 6 months. Dr. D also did this for dozens of young kids. His family also had the local apple farm and he would hire young college kids to help pay off their treatments. A wonderful man and family. " |
