tella Oduah, a former Minister of Aviation under president Jonathan’s administration, a serving senator representing Anambra North, has challenged the Federal Government looters list whose name was listed against an allegation of a whooping sum of N9.8 billion naira

Mrs Oduah has come out to challenged the Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed, to provide evidence to prove his stance.

She said: “I challenge Lai Mohammed to provide evidence linking me with his wild allegations. I have been waiting for that evidence and I am yet to see any.

“It is worrisome how a serving Minister could condescend so low in what appeared like a childish altercation to start mentioning names of his alleged looters without verified or verifiable facts, in order to win what he considered a quarrel.

“In deliberately taking on those he considered prominent in the achievements of the past administration, he mentioned my name against an allegation of a whooping sum of N9.8 billion naira.

“But for the records, I would have simply ignored him since his notoriety in making false and laughable statements, has gained prominence in recent times.

Former President, Olusegun Obasanjo has said the All progressive Congress,APC, nor the People’s democratic Party can take Nigeria where its ought to be.

Obasanjo made this known while hosting a group of young professionals under the aegis of Nigerian Young Professionals Forum and New Nigeria 2019 in Abeokuta, Ogun State.

The elder state man advised the youth to take charge of their destiny instead of waiting for tomorrow that may never come, urging them to ignore excuses from leaders he described as incompetent and ineffective.

Obasanjo suggested that a coalition of all the movements in the country and poaching of the ‘uninfected members’ of the leprous APC and PDP to join the mass coalitions, would bring about the needed change in leadership in 2019.

“The point is this: the way to wrest power is to know that those that are there, you have to carry them along so that they will willingly (yield space).. so that they will not be frightened, they will not be intimidated.

Politics / Is He The Same TY Danjuma Of The North? by rmo19: 5:29pm On Mar 29, 2018
Is it true that General Theophilus Yakubu Danjuma, popularly known as TY from the North has dropped a bombshell that Nigerian military and police are complicit in killings across Nigeria, especially in the North and he therefore asked citizens to defend themselves or they would all die?

Was he not the person former Military President Ibrahim Babangida (IBB) declared as the embodiment of the virtues of the Sardauna of Sokoto when he said: “Over 50 years after the demise of Sir Ahmadu Bello; TY Danjuma has virtually picked up the (gauntlet?) from where the Sardauna had left it?”

Was he not the person described by his primary school teacher Dr Adamu Fika, that: “Even at tender age in school, Danjuma had demonstrated leadership qualities of seriousness, sense of responsibility, humility and his abiding respect for elders?”

Was he not Captain Yakubu Danjuma, a young officer in the Nigerian Army who took part in the Counter-Coup of 1966 by taking daring and decisive actions against the killers of Northern Political leaders including Sir Ahmadu Bello, Tafawa Balewa and other military officers (mostly Hausa/Fulani Muslims) after the aborted coup?

Health / Why Should We Wash Our Hands? by rmo19: 10:17am On Mar 25, 2018
As simple as it may seem, proper hand washing remains the most effective way of removing germs and harmful bacteria from our hands.

This prevents the spread of diseases and keeps your environment safe, fresh, and clean.

There are many easy ways to keep the hands clean.

The common methods used in many workplaces include the use of sufficient soap and water or good alcohol-based sanitizers when water is not easily accessible.

The Danger Zones
The most common place in our home or workplace where bacteria are most likely to have spread is the bathroom.

For obvious reasons, bathrooms are thriving places for bacteria to fester until they can be carried and transferred to other objects by contact.

The bacteria eventually gets on your mobile phones, clothes, door knobs and into your body. This is why it is important to properly wash the hands since that is the first line of defense against the bacterial contagion.

There are troubling statistics that indicate a large percentage of credit cards and mobile phones have tested positive for traces of faecal waste on them.

A study conducted by the Harvard Medical School gives the expression ‘dirty money’ and entirely new twist.

Namely, it showed that 94% of the dollar bills currently in circulation also tested positive for having traces of faecal waste on them.

You should wash your hands:

Education / Rejoinder: In Defense Of Isfop-benin University And The Benin Universities Syste by rmo19: 3:10pm On Mar 23, 2018
One of the blessings of the 21st century is the free education that everyone is entitled to, whether young or old; and for a certainty, nobody can and should deny one this privilege, the liberty to learn, the freedom to choose where to be taught and by who.

In recent times the population of Nigerians ready to acquire education has skyrocketed, commencing the need to leave the enclaves of the country to get a learned on foreign soils.

Today, the international community plays host to many Nigerians with international experience.

However, it must be a tacit blessing that Benin Republic has provided a leeway to many students open for admissions.

This influx provides a thriving republic of Nigerians who is open to an entrepreneurial Benin where knowledge delivery is matched with the need to have the skilled experience associated with progress.

One the first and foremost city centers for corporate learning is the Prestigious Institute Superior De Formation Professionally clipped as ISFOP-BENIN UNIVERSITY.

Let’s be clear that Benin University structure is peculiar to itself, a system quite reminiscence and prominent with Frenchifised education. Private or public universities, internal and external transfer system are encouraged.

Why will this not be possible? Why will a lecturer subject a student to emotional harassment and sexual exploitation when the choice of exit safeguards her interest? Tell me?

Why would a student be subject to a deliberate bad and terrible grading when massive efforts are put into preparations? A transfer system thus allows for many privileges but with a rigorous process.

At ISFOP BENIN- UNIVERSITY, for instance, the institution takes pride not only in an open door admission policy but with a multi-layered admission process. Students go through a lot of paper push across administrative offices. Students spend a chunk of a while getting through the rigour of admissions.

Freshmen, apart from the intense orientation system, first must be acculturated into the French system with a compulsory early learner’s basic communicative French acquisition at all levels. The Benin government makes it a matter of compulsion that all Anglophone students learn French for the First year to Final year.
