gurnam:The matter tire me o. Na so one of them burn his PVC over Fayose/Eleka loss at Ekiti. This their sick preoccupation and obsession with Yoruba politics is befuddling. |
mcquin:I never admitted that APC rigged. I was only saying that Bukola lacks the moral standing to speak against rigging considering that he owes his political relevance to his rigging exploits. |
Somebody help me. I am still in pains. Sifia pains.
|
E pain am. You are in no position to accuse anyone of rigging because you have been rigging elections all through your political life.
|
Lol. Maybe he will consider it if the price is right. His uncle and dad really spent a lot in their efforts to win the election (vote-buying and mobilization funds don't come cheap). They will be in Fayose-type pains right now.

He should be twerking not begging. https://i.pinimg.com/originals/8c/d5/71/8cd57187edda8be3d6d0e3e7d3f44972.gif https://www.reactiongifs.com/r/tprty.gif |
PaChukwudi44:He should first win tomorrow let us see. He and his party have already exhausted all their options and dealt their cards while the APC is just about to get started. Even Omisore don apparently fall inline. Tomorrow is just 24-hrs away so make we dey watch this season finale. |
WisdomFlakes:And why should a criminal forger be allowed to rule over an entire state. You people called for Kemi Adeosun's head over NYSC certificate forgery but now want to allow Adeleke a free pass? Imagine the manner of illegalities he would perpetrate as governor. Any other candidate from any of the other parties would be a better alternative.
|
But one has to give it to the PDP propaganda and fake news machinery though. They are damned good and efficient! They are so quick to pen, spread, and attribute fake news to popular personalities in order to get attention and garner public sympathy. E.g Maurice Iwu, Adeboye's son, e.t.c. |
Sounds like he's being noncommittal to both parties. ![]() |
The truth is that the Saraki/Dogara blunder may turn out to be the biggest in the history of Nigeria politics that might even end up culminating in Buhari's reelection loss. Those two shouldn't have been allowed to retain their seats in defiance against their party for as long as they have. I think it's too late for APC to correct that blunder even, Oshiomohole's efforts notwithstanding. |
murphyibiam15:Why not if not? Isn't Saraki a Northerner again? |
Another fake news from Johnny fake news service. Some people are already jittery. |
amaniro:Lol. I think it was a honest mistake that has been corrected.
|
The police evidence against Adeleke is akin to what Americans call 'smoking gun'. He better start assembling his defence team because e go tough o.
|
Smh. PDP don buy market with this guy. This is some serious 'smoking gun' type shyt/evidence against him.
|
Smh. PDP don buy market with this guy.

Adeleke must twerk to this news. https://i.pinimg.com/originals/8c/d5/71/8cd57187edda8be3d6d0e3e7d3f44972.gif |
schoolboij:Maybe, but still.. it is as realistic as we can get, empirically speaking that is. Even virtually all the censuses ever held in Nigeria (including the 2006 one) have been mired in one form of controversy or another. But this is unbiased raw data from private firms (which are updated quarterly) that have no interest in all that crap. In the real world, this sort of data is what decision-makers rely on in the absence of credible census (as is the case with Nigeria), not conjectures or conspiracy theory laden rumours and innuendos. |
schoolboij:Only a credible census can provide real population, that is a given. But in the absence of a census since the past 12-years, this data comes closest of any other out there. If anything, it has been very consistent since its advent a few years back. Give or take, it represents a general and ballpark estimate of population spread across the states because cellphones have become an intricate part of our lives, even in the remote parts, whether you are an adult or a youth, if you have an active phone you will be captured in the data (if you like, add or deduct 1 or 2 million from each represented state, it won't make much of a difference). |
BeautifulMind2:That is why I said earlier that you are not a rational person, because your thought process is dictated by egotism and sentiments. I never said Anambra population was 'retrogressing'. But apparently it hasn't grown as astronomically as Ogun or Abuja for instance, and if you disagree, present any data that suggests otherwise. All states have increased in population, but by different margins depending on several factors. E.g, according to that telecoms data, even Delta, Edo, and Niger all have more active phone lines than Anambra today (Anambra was more populated than them according to the 2006 census), the real question should be WHY??. What is responsible or going on in Anambra that is causing such relatively low active voice subscription? Is it that you people don't have phones compared to other states? (Which is doubtful) Or you all don't conduct business with your phones? (I doubt this as well). Or you guys can't afford to buy credit to keep your phones active? (I consider this doubtful as well). Or is this just a reflection of the overall population that own and operate phones in the state? (Most likely!). Unless you are trying to say that the telecoms companies that own and supplied the data are biased against your people. ![]() are you also saying Ogun is more populated than Kano, Kaduna, Oyo and Rivers stateLook here, if I see convincing data that Ogun is today more populated than those states you listed, then so be it. I don't argue with facts. Let go of your ego and reason like an educated fellow (if indeed you are). Everything doesn't have to be about massaging your ego or your superiority complex. |
BeautifulMind2:I understand that you lack the ability to reason rationally, but for the sake of others who may be reading this, I will try and embarrass you a little bit. Too bad that your views are inconsequential at the end of the day because the people that matter have taken note of these datas, and they know where to consult when it comes to decision-making that pertain to population spread. It's obvious that you have a personal grouse against Ogun state maybe because you feel threatened by the thought of its ascendency relative to your home state. But let's deal with facts here, not sentiments. Your 2006 population census data is nonsense (and is no longer applicable) because it's more than a decade old, besides, Anambra population (4.2-million) was way more than Abuja/FCT back when the 2006 census was conducted (Abj was approximately 1.5-million in 2006), yet today Abuja has by far outstripped the same Anambra in its population growth. You apparently have no problem with Abuja population explosion since the last census, but are here masturbating and developing high-blood pressure over the fact that Ogun state that is just right next door to Lagos would experience a population explosion. It is clear that your real problem is your allergy to facts due to your egotism. It may be hard to swallow and you can even reject it, but there's nothing you can do about the facts in that telecoms data. ![]() |
BeautifulMind2:How can you compare voters registration to this? Voter apathy (which varies from state to state/region to region) alone is enough to discredit voters registration as a measure of population spread. You people are fond of rejecting anything that you feel does not favour your narrative. This data is by far more credible as a measure of population spread than voters registration because it captures a wider net. Voters registration data says Anambra has way less than the 4-million in this telecoms data (just a little over 2-million). Does that 2-million voter reg figure represent or capture the true population of your state? Be sincere with yourself instead of always dwelling on sentiments. |
amaniro:So you consider Kwara 'bad'? Yet you are promoting Saraki' candidacy, so that Saraki can turn Nigeria into another Kwara? What manner of contradiction is this? |
In my assessment, Omisore put Oyetola on the defensive but Oyetola managed to display enough intelligence, confidence and competence. Oyetola is the real deal in my opinion. Omisore is ok too but comes across as a tad bit arrogant. The two other guys (Akinbade and Adeoti) might as well have been part of the audience, while Adeleke was a no-show. |
Congrats to her and her family. |
Yes it is necessary in a multiethnic country like Nigeria. Even with the policy there are still cries of marginalization and ethnic domination, so imagine if it wasn't in existence. Nigeria is not mature enough to do away with it. |
So? Make we fry Akamu? Rubbish post. |
