midolian:You people are wicked. All of you are shouting 'Atikulate' upandan, nobody is talking about Nnmadi Kanu again. Is that fair? You people are wicked. God will judge all of you. Chukwu Okike Abiama will judge you people.

Gaddemit, it's like Atiku has already won this election (on NL, Twitter, and Facebook ), na to swear am in remain. Buhari should just forget social media votes because Atiku has all the bloc votes. But for the rest of us in the real world, it's still Sai Babaaaa.
|
globemoney:But I thought Igbos are 'republicans' with no leaders? Every Igbo man is a leader in his own right so Atiku need not consult with any particular leader since all igbos speak for themselves, bah? Or Maybe Atiku should have just made a general broadcast to 'all Igbo leaders/men' or organized a town hall meeting to interface and consult with every Igbo person on the face of the earth over his VP selection. I don't know how Atiku will do it because even me myself am confused o. How do you deal with a leaderless people?? Like WTF?
|
I am surprised Obiano has not yet said anything. His silence at this juncture is not golden at all. |
Even if Obi is fingered and found culpable in the disappearance of Nnmadi Kanu, I am sure Igbos will forgive him just so that they can 'Atikulate'. That is how serious they are about 'Atikulating'. Atikulated losers. ![]()

See serious confusion in Buhari's enemies camp. Buhari jazz strong pass Atiku's marabouts own o.

Enugupikin:It seems maybe these leaders don't trust Peter Obi with power. He should meet with them and maybe talk to them so they would feel less threatened and more receptive to his candidacy. Atiku too should have consulted them. These people don't want to rendered politically useless in case Atiku/Obi wins. Their fears should be allayed. |
These Southeast PDP leaders are not playing o. Wetin Peter Obi do to offend them? |
It's beginning to look more and more like the SE PDP establishment are not in favour of Peter Obi's candidacy. Perhaps they have an axe to grind with the guy over some past grievance or something because this whole unfolding saga is not making sense. |
divinehand2003:Lol. It is because they are proudly 'Republican'. ![]()
|
And why are people abusing Umahi for exercising his right to not support Obi's selection? After all, Igbos like to pride themselves as 'Republicans'. So what is the fuss all about??
|
This guy is talking nonsense. There was an inconclusive election and rerun wherein APC/Omisore alliance won, what has that got to do with Buhari?
|
CyynthiaKiss:Guy (yeah, I know you are really a guy), go ahead and support Atiku. Just be prepared for his inevitable loss once more. And, don't throw out your Biafra paraphernalia just yet because you people will still need it for the next edition of the struggle. ![]() |
CyynthiaKiss:As long as Buhari backs and annoints Osinbajo (or any other Yoruba man) as his successor, it's as good as done. As the days and weeks go by, I am sure the more pragmatic Igbo leaders will realize they are chasing shadows with this Atiku project because the guy will surely lose. Elections aren't won on twitter and Nairaland. |
All I know is that, should the igbos go all out and support Atiku and he ends up losing to Buhari, they should just accept an APC handover to another Yoruba person after Buhari's tenure. Simple as ABC. No amount of 'Biafra or death' noisemaking or blackmailing will stop that eventuality.

With such an abysmally poor record of project completion in 16-yrs, only a foolish person would support the takeover of PDP in 2019. They will just abandon the ongoing rail projects while starting a new round of projects they won't complete. It's still Sai baba for me, atleast till all ongoing projects are completed. If you no like am go and hug transformer. |

basilo101:You can have the VP slot. Atiku will still end up the loser anyway. ![]() |
Atiku can take over after this project and other ones the FG are executing in the SW are completed. Until then it's still Sai Baba for me.
|
Atiku should just dobale for baba. Hopefully that will finally pacify him.

Adeleke has not abided by any agreement with Ogunbiyi from the very start. He has been scamming the guy.

The source said the governor informed his loyalists that rather than address the pending issue, the party leadership in Abuja asked him to share the National and State Assembly tickets with certain individuals in the state who never participated in the just concluded governorship and legislative primaries.Amosun should be reasonable. He is about to complete his second term in office and should realize that politics is dynamic, you win some you lose some. Obviously the party is polarized in the state. Sharing political office with rival factions is a mature way to keep the peace and remain relevant. Sanwo-Olu and Tinubu had to do that by accommodating and reaching out to Fouad Oki, Fashola, and Muiz Banire faction. For Buhari himself not to allow him to completely have his way should be enough to make him soft-pedal on his stubbornness. No permanent enemy in politics but permanent interest.

Crocky23:Why should I explain why he forfeited any money? The crux of the matter is that 1. The U.S government as thorough and efficient/effective as they are never found enough evidence to indict (let alone convict) him of any crime, 2. You have yet to prove your earlier allegation that he was indicted and convicted of drugs related offence or crime (in the real world you have to prove your accusation else you are just talking crap), 3. Bola Tinubu can visit America anytime he chooses, but your Atiku is smart enough not to try that (he has very very competent lawyers who are advising him against that, obviously), 4, Tinubu will not be the one facing Atiku at the polls, Buhari is, so why are you attacking Tinubu? |
Crocky23:The onus is on you to show that he was 'indicted' and 'convicted' as you have been claiming. If the U.S government could not indict or convict him of what you are accusing him of, then you are merely blowing hot air. The U.S has released the documents in their file against Tinubu, Sahara Reporters has made it available for everyone to scrutinize. If you have evidence of his indictment and conviction for drug running, present them here for us all to see. I repeat, Tinubu frequently visits the U.S as a free man. No indictment, no conviction (except in your mind). Can Atiku do the same? Can Atiku visit America? |
Crocky23:Bro, so far you have not presented a single proof showing that he was indicted for any crime. The document you presented only showed that he forfeited money. Look, Sahara reporters did a comprehensive expose on this issue and the U.S didnt even indict him on any drug related charge because they had no evidence to do that. He only forfeited money that was suspected to have been laundered. You people are barking at the wrong tree because Buhari is the one that Atiku will be facing at the polls, not Tinubu. GEJ would have jailed Tinubu by now if he could (as much he wanted to). Tinubu can enter America anytime. Atiku should try that. |
