It was a well planned and orchestrated fake news meant to generate public sympathy for Adeleke. Even Davido his nephew was in on it. Shameless people.
|
In my assessment, Omisore put Oyetola on the defensive but Oyetola managed to display enough confidence and competence. Oyetola is the real deal in my opinion. Omisore is ok too but comes across as a tad bit arrogant. The two other guys (Akinbade and Adeoti) might as well have been part of the audience. |
From the beginning I guessed it was all a publicity stunt to gain sympathy for Senator Adeleke. PDP has been going on rampage with fake news lately. |
Adelekes should hit the campaign trail like other contrstants instead of trying to seek cheap sympathy. |
yns4real:Don't mind Johnny boy. In his haste to be FTC and lick 'Omo babaoloye's yansh, he failed to comprehend the gist of the report. He takes praise-singing to an insane level. |
globemoney:Lol. I can see you are still embittered about that Yoruba language law Ambode passed sometime back. Before, una say Fashola was 'tribalistic' for sending back Anambra's share of destitutes littering Lagos, now it is Ambode's turn. I am sure Ambode's successor will also inherit that una 'tribalist' label. Una no dey tire? |
Newmanluckyman:Lol. Why are you against imposition when it comes to Lagos but are mum about it when it pertains to your oga Saraki's Kwara? You PDP people and your double-standard. Smh. |
Those tremors are real o. Government should find out the cause before folks start to panic. |
senatordave1:Lol. That guy talks like someone who is drunk 24-hrs of the day. ![]() |
Most news emanating from Daily Independent newspaper are often fake news or PDP inspired. That has always been their M.O.
|
I don't know why these guys are wasting their time going to the south east to campaign, when we all already know that SE is PDP and PDP is SE. Even without pressing any mumu button or campaigning PDP has SE votes on lockdown.
|
I don't know how true this is but if it turns out to be the case, then it will spell doom for the PDP because the SS and SE are supposedly their most dependable strongholds. It would be a huge vote-of-no-confidence on whoever ends up emerging the PDP's Presidential candidate. |
We noticed these, mainly around Iwo, Ede and Ife axis, for now.Adeoti, Adeleke, and Omisore should call their thugs to order. This is not how to win an election. |
NobodyKnows:Osogbo is in Osun central, Oyetola's senatorial district. I expect nothing short of a win for him there. |
This might turn out to be a cakewalk for APC. Too many contestants from Osun west (plus Omisore factor) will split opposition votes the way it's looking. If Oyetola clears all 6 local governments in Ilesha (which is possible thanks to the incumbent governor's influence) plus ife east, win atleast most of the local governments in his own Osun central, and snatch one or two local governments from Osun west, he'll coast home to victory. |
Then someone must be lying between Financial Times and Trump. ![]() |
Hmm.. Op you dey shake table o. Some people on Nairaland would have to be put on suicide watch o. ![]() |
CSTR1005:.

That is good. But in real life everyone knows that more Igbo women are 'rushing' Yoruba men than Yoruba women are rushing Igbo men. ![]()

naijapips04:It'll be stupid of Buhari and his handlers to claim that he initiated the projects in question since the records are there for all to see. But it is also equally foolish and stuupid to think to deprive Buhari's administration from claiming 'bragging rights' for completing what his predecessor failed to do. If GEJ must be complimented for initiating the project, then Buhari must equally be commended for completing it. In the end Nigerians are the true winners. That's only fair. |
naijapips04:Your hypocrisy is befuddling. The same you are the one making a big deal out of whose project it supposedly is because that person initiated but didn't complete it. Now you are playing needless word games. Nigerians expect successive administrations to deliver critical infrastructure irrespective of who initiated or completes them. That's what should matter and not playing petty politics over whose project it is. |
naijapips04:Sorry but that's the height of pettiness. I personally don't like the idea of playing politics with development. The Nigerian masses will only end up as the casualties of such toxic politics. |
Op, you need to grow up and quit being petty, please. Government is a continuum. If every new government decides to abandon projects initiated by their predecessors there will be uncompleted projects everywhere. Lagos is working today because there is continuity of the visionary developmental masterplan by successive administrations. If Buhari abandons all of GEJ's projects for selfish reasons, who will suffer if not Nigerians who will be deprived of much needed infrastructure? Everything shouldn't always be reduced to politics all the time. |
How reputable is this 'Nigerian pilot' news source? Because lately, a lot of fake news merchants are littering cyberspace and cooking up and dishing all sort of lies as 'news'. |
At this rate, Nigeria will soon be exporting more criminals than crude oil. ![]()

murphyibiam15:You are a well-known Ebonyi promoter here so this your list is in no way 'unbiased'. Besides, Ebonyi shouldn't be on that list, considering the intractable intercommunal, cross-border, herdsmen clashes that have been going on there for sometime now, leaving lots of dead people on its wake. https://www.premiumtimesng.com/regional/ssouth-east/271494-two-killed-in-ebonyi-cult-clashes.html https://www.vanguardngr.com/2018/06/13-killed-ebonyi-c-river-inter-communal-conflict-escalates/ http://dailypost.ng/2018/03/16/herdsmen-invasion-ebonyi-community-deserted-30-houses-razed/ |
Ipobs should do all in their power to get those women out please. This is not right. |
