Thanks for suggesting, but threads only get bumped up when people post responses/inquiries on them, just as you have done with this. smiley. I've no control over people's choice of thread to contribute...at least, not before they make it.

However, you can help on refreshing the face of the board every now and again, by starting new topics. smiley You know it will be appreciated.

Thanks again.

Beats me!
When everywhere's calm, he'd just sneak in and drop a huge line and then get everyone to start talking and deliberating and talking and deliberating. Just what do you want everyone to say, that hasn't been said already? People have taken sides with your wife, with you, insulted Dayo, condemned your mother in-law, what more is left to do? I really can't help but get pissed whenever I see this thread bumped up, each time I wanna see a new topic here!!!

ileobatojo: Can you stop with the bs super story please and tell the truth? Now she's threatening you with assault? Just because you speak for 2 hrs with your friend? Riiight!

The only update we are interested in is the outcome of your heart to heart talks with your wife and your attempt at reaching a compromise with her.
Abi? He keeps bumping up this thread and spamming the board with an issue that everyone has long solved for him. Please allow people to concentrate on other serious-minded people that have real issues and really need real advice!

This dude is still here giving update. grin

Oh well, now you realise that your wife's as important as Dayo was, in relation to your stay in UK. Insist on living in your past with helpful Dayo, or hold onto your future with your helpful wife and helpful Dayo.

I really don't understand what you hope to gain from this forum with all these updates. Do whatever you wish to do already, Man of the house.

EventsBalloon Games For Kids' Parties by Rocktation(mod): 10:50pm On Apr 02, 2013
Balloon games can be real fun activities to plan for a kid's party. Here are some i know, that will always thrill those little schweeetnesses of ours;

1. Balloon Notes

This is a musical balloon game, in which you place balloons on the ground and have children dance around them. When the music stops, each child grabs a balloon. The child who does not have a balloon then, would be first to choose whose balloon gets popped. Each balloon should have a note inside, but only one note should say winner. The child that chooses the right balloon and the child that is holding the balloon, wins.

2. Three Legged Race

Here, two children try to keep a balloon between them, without using their hands as they walk from start to finish. They can put it between their hips, chests, backs, etc. They may not drop the balloon or they have to start over.

3. Balloon Stomp

In this, you tie a string to a balloon or two. You will need enough balloons for each child. Tie the string around the child's ankle and have them run around, trying to stomp on someones balloon, while trying to save their own.

4. Balloon Burst

Have children come up in teams of two and try to pop the balloon using only a magnifying glass. The kid with the best time, wins.

5. Inflation Race

Divide the kids into two teams. See how many balloons the kids can blow up in three minutes. Adults can help each team tie the balloons. The team with the most balloons at the end, is the winner.

6. Balloon Fight

Here, the kids should each be given a numbered balloon and the responsibility to keep that number, off the ground. But while doing that, they are free to knock someone else's to the ground. Be sure there is a ref standing somewhere close.

7. Balloon Volleyball

Form two teams and determine a centre line with a marker on the floor, or a dividing rope. Children try to hit the balloon back and forth without dropping it. For added difficulty, get more than one balloon going at a time. Oh, and maybe a first aid kit. Lol.

8. Balloon Race

This one requires that the kids have blown up balloons, and stand in a line, side to side. And on the count of three, everyone lets their balloons go and the kid's that makes it the farthest, wins. You will need a different colour for each person, or a name tag on each one.

9. Crazy Course

Here, you set up a crazy maze for the children to guide their balloons through. The kid that makes it out in the shortest time, wins.

10. Balloon Seizures

This is quite common. Here, you place lots of balloons in the middle of the floor and have children in a group run in, picking up and holding as many balloons as possible until the time runs out. After a few minutes, the person still holding the most balloons, wins.

For winners and even take home stuff for everyone, you can still award Balloon prizes like;
- lollipops stuck inside a non-inflated balloon, and tied with a ribbon, around the stick of the pop and the end of the balloon. Or you may

- create a balloon candies bag by cutting off the end of a balloon where you blow it up, filling with candies, and putting it into another...and another, through the same part, where you blow.

- or you can just hand out those beautiful balloon dinosaurs, which are used as decorations.
I would teach you how to make these...only...I don't know how!embarassed

Yeah, I remember those. Kids would tie threads around their prothoraxes and run to every single place on Earth, with them. Kids can be very mean, walahi. angry

I love fireflies...from a distance, though. They're always a wonder to behold at night.
