Ohh It's a sad world where parents can't close their eyes for two minutes or they risk having their dear kids, mauled by neighbors, siblings, pastors...everyone and anyone could be a prospective rapist. Ask how it happened now and you'd find that she was probably just enjoying time with friends, helping a neighbor, staying with an uncle, attending a church program, walking on the road..just basic living for crying out loud. |

So Ladies and Gents, it's good to WISELY be yourself no matter others perception of you.. #Smiles....For some reason, this made me smile. I think there's more than enough evidence to this. I read the last time about a certain White Money that was cooking upandan like a mugu in the house and what not. Remember where that got him too. Alphas are for jungles, while mugus be balling. |

Honestly, these tales are bogus. Igbo faux agberos, do not confidently carry out dastardly deeds like the originators of agberoism. I can only believe the one about taxing heavy baggage carriers in Keke and the facemask defaulters, during the pandemic. But the others? Well, if they are true, I'd call them daylight robbers outrightly and not lump them with the regular Igbo agberos. |

NUELUSA2023: My simple advice, go for a school that requires application fees. If you can research properly on a school that has a high acceptance, requires application fees and there is availability of full funding.
Going for schools with application fee waivers might be counter productive due to competition (I may be totally wrong here)

LilMissFavvy: I thought they say that "men don't bear grudges"? Isn't this Chris supposed to forget this issue by now? Smith was already disqualified and punished in many ways by the movie industry, that was enough payback by the movie industry. I knew that his "show of maturity" all this while's total hogwash and I honestly feel like he should be let to react or address the issue, exactly as he felt. Dude took a punch in front of the world, for crying out loud! The least he could do is what he is; verbally responding. And Will Smith will be so immature as to locate him to punch him again, because I'm certain that Chris would be more than willing to sue him then. It's not as though his jokes are not based on truths, that make Will Smith not want him to talk about them, same way that every other body has been. |

Porto nouvo is a farther than Cotonou. And this suggest a little increase in transport I think they actually mean to say that it is cheap. |

Najdorf: I have zero support from my family when it comes to southern schools lol. They dislike those southern states like anything.
I just applied there on my own volition. We'll see how it goes sha Unless there's much more to what is holding you, I would say run with it. I will not ordinarily advice anyone to consciously choose to take on the intense programs at these big schools, when you'd end up coming out and be perceived as exactly the same in today's job market. I know one medical student at Yale right now, endlessly looking for a Public health internship as I know another at GSU, who's been asked to share postings with her friends. Just getting into an accredited program in the US, should be top priority. |

BigIyanga: Cos people stereotype the south as educationally disadvantaged . MS regarded as a ‘3rd world’ state in the US in education but Naija folks dont care. Lol. US college degree is an equalizer…employers dont look at your school once you are qualified and capable of doing the job. Indeed, Nigerians are right not to care, because the US employers don't care much either. Pull at your wigs and go crazy, trying to keep up with the academic pace of these big schools and in the end, the fortune 500 are camping at these disadvantaged schools and looking for diversity in their numbers. |

RealMarv: Thank you for your kind words. It is unfortunate that some people feel the need to be rude or sarcastic when responding to others' questions. It is possible to provide direct and honest responses while still being polite and showing empathy. I was also disappointed to see the condescending remarks made in response to the post about the TOEFL score of the poster's brother. Questions such as "How did he pass his WAEC, did he school in the village?" do not demonstrate empathy towards the poster and the situation. This behavior is more common in online forums where people can hide behind the anonymity of the internet. Nonetheless, it is important to remember that empathy and kindness are always in fashion, whether in person or online. Abeg, psycho-analyze everything, but don't remind people again about that TOEFL matter. Ever written the TOEFL? Because that's the only way you can really speak to what people are opining. That score is a result of poor preparation, and it will be totally unkind of you to charge anybody here to empathize with such an attitude to the exam...speak less of rubbing the examinees' heads as your preferred strategy to lure them to success. |

mantics: This score no be am ooo for TOEFL. Your brother should not even submit the score at all. Also, the 2.7 is out of 4 or 5? The funny part is that this score might have since reached the schools, based on free sending, from the exam hall.. It's just to pray that admissions will not be angry as to not even look at the other materials.. |

I doubt if this person is mentally prepared to do MS in business-related fields.?? Ehnnnnn....hmnnnnnn I laugh, but it really is not funny oo...heyyy...I'm scared for him... Well, God will do it. Your brother cannot write or speak English. I’m certain he would be required to complete ESL classes if he is even admitted. 46 TOEFL score? Orishirishi. Honestly, my chest is paining me. I don't know if he's not ready for America or it's America that's not ready for him.
