I started 'she was pretty' because of Park seo joon but i didn't like it. I struggled with the first 5 episodes then abadoned it. It would have been nicer if a better actress played the ugly girl's role (the actress didn't act it well) in my opinion. Good thing you enjoyed the movie

In entertainment's honor anyways, I would give at least, a percentage leeway for eff-ups. Faults really only become conspicuous, when much more than that one percent, is being gobbled up.

It's actually 20 episodes, there was a period where Korean broadcasters started dividing an hour long episode into 30 minutes, so 20 episodes became 40 and 16 episodes became 32 etc. It's all still the same, episode 1-2 was usually just episode 1. I'm glad that Era is over but tbh I still think suspicious partner was too long for 20 episodes, hell the story could have been done in 12 or 16 episodes, in my opinion they dragged the drama abeg

3. I don't think it's money though. They seemed to be very emotional intelligent though. They were also nice to the 'low life's soldiers and even offered asylum to them. I read they consulted some North Korea defectors to SK so the life portrayed in NK was accurate.

4. Maybe it was a daytime/ family series. There is a goodbye kissing scene in their first speration at the end of Episode 8. I heard some of their movies can be raunchy. I like their take on male/female sexual relationships though so I will take their extreme on physical intimacy to the Western's end. You will like Suspicious Partner and Lovestruck in the City. Funnily, the actor in CLOY had a crazy kissing scene in another series.

Don't mind them. She could have still gone on to kill herself, without needing to drop Se-ri off at the beach. Unless, they'd tell us that the urge suddenly took her at the beach, which will still make her a weirdo.

I also loved the NIS scenes; the guy low key rooting for ML & the FL and when the Team Lead delayed the exchange so the lady could say goodbye.

I was thinking of the Otedolas during these scenes and how money can make any character, pliant. Fictional or real.

I wished there was more romance though. Like when he gave her the rings, a kiss or love making would be appropriate. They were high tensioned lovers who did not know when they would meet again. That is a recipe for high emotions and passion.

Thank you! I couldn't say this enough. I wonder why these Koreans shy away from doing stuff, correctly. People that were literally inseparable could not have a scene that is suggestive of love-making or even provide us with a proper kiss. That is mostly why Secretary Kim trumps most other kdramas. They didn't have time to waste time.

The final episode even added more ambiguity to their romance. Why would she be needing to stay at a hotel for two weeks, "as usual", when the apartment in the end looked like the dude's abode with their pics displayed everywhere? I wonder what they are forming.

Super dope drama! Once I got started with it, I looked for every opportunity to get back to it. Even at bus terminuses. I had it bad. I'm amazed that it took this long to discover it. You guys certainly hoarded this one from me.

I like that it was straight to biz from the get go and was so maintained till the end. Very lovely plot, indeed. The actress was totally on point. The male lead however, seemed to be exhibiting episodic facial paralysis, as his expression wasn't always indicative of what he was professing. And his voice lacked emotion. I wonder who told him soldiers are always supposed to sound tough. I can't say that I hated him, though.

There are lacunae in the plot too, such as why the step mother didn't want to live, when she abandoned the Yoon Se-ri - they didn't say. Neither did they tell us who found the vintage watch and conveniently pawned it...and some more stuff..

Then, the writer went and killed the con artist and I couldn't register that. Not until when they were thanking me for watching. Mscheww. I wonder what that was about.

I also appreciate the breather from all those hanging cartoon hearts and insane pop-ups, kdramas have become infamous for. Infact, I'm very wary of dramas that they explicitly describe as romcoms, these days.

Anyway, I can confidently vouch for only four dopest of the dopest kdramas now, lol;
