Thank God, greedie!
For a second there, I was like
Buh yeah, that was true. It doesn't necessarily make the result, a bad thing though.

Are you a man?
Seriously now, you intimidate me with your passion for life!

This is good stuff! Thank you.

Our Thomases, I haven't seen you on this thread yet;

Why?

redcliff: No, no no. Don't get me wrong. I'm saying that he's so good that it would be hard to differntiate his work from a coloured picture converted to grayscale.

Oh forgive that! Got carried away by the level of cynicism I get from this very section.

redcliff: Consider his works photographed images converted to black and white with a photo editor. Its perfect!

Lol. This is just hilarious. What, you think Americans allow these artists to be hallmarked for something they don't actually do? Really? My brother, if they say he uses only charcoal on slate, then by God, he does exactly that!
I don't understand my Naija people oo. Every one us seem to think that we can play detective and nail these artists better than our oyinbo counterparts can.

Great works!
It'd be nice if the critics from this section, show me the "unblurred" pencil lines, now.

Shollypopz: It gets more interesting every time I come back to this thread.

Rocktation, hi.......hvn't seen our ID in a while.

Hey, Sweets!
With all the Crazy going on here, you must admit that I needed the breather.

^^Actually, I confirmed that it's true. A friend boarded Dana a few days back, from Abj to Lag at 12k. Contrasting the usual 30-35k...way more than 50%.
But then, they have every reason to be more desperate for attention than the others.

mrkels: Lord knows I hate Arik air and their over priced services. Nonesence thieves exploiting nigerians. I pity people who feel flying arik is a thing of class.
Hope the prices come down futher so that even ssecondary school students would be frequent flyers like it is in other developed countries. I also hope they kill this high airfare prices by installing a standardized rail way system which covers the whole country. I ll like to tell arik air "in your face" someday when this railway dream is actualised in nigeria...

True that. I wonder what other carriers must be like, since arik doesn't slack in lawding it over its patronizers. Classy my heine. Tsk!
I think you are definitely the most silly one of them all....seriously just look at the gaddam 'paper' used to make the so-called pencil drawings...do they even look real to you?
Its all fake my dear
First, are you an artist? If yes, then surely you must understand that this is a wrong choice word to use, especially in this case. My field's medical and yet I know better. It isn't all 'fake' as you want to make this come across. Illusionistic is a better way to say it. But then again, Art generally, is illusionistic by nature. If this particular category of 'fake' works were so easy to do and as a result, mere or usual, I doubt the Ben Heine dude would be half as celebrated, as he is right now, across the www and art world actually. I did not stumble across his work. A valued referral led me to his site.

Valdee, if that's all it takes to be married, then by God, you're the Prince Charming I've been meaning to have all my life!
