Did you get another email now that it is ready in lagos for collection?
Somebody please help! We submitted using dhl to lagos office but did not pay for courier back cos we thought we will pick in person. They sent email now that it is in abuja office. What do we do? Cos it is not abuja we sent to. It was lagos.

Hello please can u send a copy of the email you got when abuja sent it to lagos because we sent through dhl to lagos and got an email that it is ready for collection in abuja and cannot collect in person.

Is 16530u don't need to pay the 30,820.dhl will send it to Lagos,Lagos will send all passport to Abuja.Abuja will send back to lagos.so u can pick up at Lagos or wen it get to Lagos u use ups or DHL to pickup for u to bring to ur hux

Thanks alot for your response. We did not fill any consent form. We just sent the passport through dhl to thr vfs lagos office and thats all. We did not pay any extra fee for courier or anything. Just for the delivery of the passport from dhl to vfs lagos thats all. We have gotten tracking from them since regarding the document and this last one came and they said its available in abuja for collection blabla. But we didnt sed to Abuja we sent to lagos office. So confusing o

Did you fill the courier consent form and your address , name and phone number on a separate white plain paper? If yes i guess you have to wait after 24 hours to get the tracking details from DHL , i suppose you will be notified when it gets to your preferred location as filled on the consent form. I was notified by VFS to wait for 24hours to receive the tracking information from DHL . Keep in mind the cause of the delays could have to do with the public holidays and the weekend. All the same i will keep you posted on further details if i get any new notifications, seems we have similar timeline for collection but in person collection won’t be possible now from VFS, it’s a waiting game.

Did you just goto the lagos office because the email they sent to us was that in person appointment is not possible. We dont even know the process to pay for courier. After sending them the courier fee where will we send the receipt of payment to. Please someone assist with how to collect stamped passport. Thank you. This is the email we got that passport is ready. We sent the passport to Lagos, does this mean the pickup is Abuja. Confusing.

Finally gotten my passport from VFS Lagos office today submitted last week Friday.

I was giving number 336 when I arrived around 1:30pm and there are many people waiting for passport collection at the back of the VFS office, if you are going for passport collection please be there as early as possible.

Lagos VFS office is now faster than before and l think no need to send your passport to Abuja anymore my one cent advise.

Please can someone assist with how to send passport through Lagos vfs. We did biometrics at the lagos vfs. Do we need to book an appointment and what are the documents required and fees. Thank you. I can only see for Abuja process here. Is Abuja the fastest?

It would be advisable to stay in a hotel along the RER B Train network so you can easily take the train to CDG Airport from the nearest RER B station. So look for hotels around Chatelet Les-Halles, Denfert-Rochereau, Palais-Royal, Gare du Nord etc.

2. France Visa registration receipt
3. My international passport
4. Travel health Insurance
5. Flight reservation for round trip via AirFrance for Lagos – Paris – Lagos
6. Hotel booking confirmation for the duration of my stay in France.
7. Tour booking reservation
8. Leave letter and no objection certificate from my employer, showing approved leave days as well as the date, I am expected to return to work (leave letter and no objection letter is different)
9. Introduction letter from my employer
10. Payslips, and three months’ Salary account statement as proof of my income (my salary account)
11. Copy of my staff ID
12. Additional Savings account showing proof of additional savings (second savings account)
13. Proof of Investment - statement of account and reference letter from my wealth management company showing value of assets owned which can be liquidated at any time to my savings account.
14. Salary increment letter as proof of recent salary raise from the month of October,2021. (To support the recent salary increase as shown on my bank statement)
15. Copy of Covid 19 vaccination e-Certificate and vaccination card (the vfs staff removed the vaccination card photocopy and left only the e-certificate
16. Evidence of pension
17. Family photograph (a photo of all my family taken together)
18. Copy of previous Schengen visa and other stamped pages on my passport (the vfs staff removed the other stamps since its dubai and left only the previous schengen stamp)
19. Photocopy of my passport data page
20. National Identity Slip
21. Copy of drivers’ licence
22. Self introductory letter showing itinerary of how each day will be spent and also showing details of all documents submitted

Please I would advise nobody uses agent for anything, once your documents are genuine you don't need any agent that will chop your money. just put all your document in order.

hello friends, I want to ask please if i can book my france tourist appointment under 'frequent traveller' becuase I have a previous schengen visa, though i couldnt use it last year due to the corona virus situation. and the vfs website indicated that one can choose 'frequent traveller' if they have at least a previous visa from schengen, uk us or canada. kindly advise thank you
