Hey guys! sorry I have not replied earlier to POE experience and all I have been busy. Trying to settle down.

1. In the POE, none of my bags were searched, no question was asked. I submitted my offer letter and passport and I got my study and work permit.

2. In Canada here, you need to have confidence to be successful, I had to challenge my landlord here for him to sit up. He wanted to be funny because I am new.

3.You can change your program route; I have successfully changed here to research wink those profs that don't respond to emails do that because you are still in Nigeria.

4. Confidence!! Confidence!!! don't be shy to air your opinions, talk to strangers, crack polite decent jokes with strangers etc. I was cracking jokes with my supervisor and he was laughing!!!

5. Research here is no joke my first meeting with my supervisor; I was loaded but I think he did that deliberately to test me.

6. This place is too cold like really cold and they say this is summer; I wonder how the Winter will look like.

7. Just believe in yourself, you will survive. Don't worry about the money on you. You can get a job and hussle hard. I will be registering just one course this summer so I can hussle grin

Cheers Everyone. If you have concerns just quote my moniker, I may take some time to respond but I'll try.

Congratulations bro
Did you pay tuition before applying for your trv?

an soa that has inflow and outflow of over 5mil above for the past 6 months but has 1.8mil as aval. balance while the other sponsor has inflow and outflow of over 5mil above for the past 6 months. How well is the soa.

what is the vo interested in? is it the huge inflow and outflow of money or the aval balance?

yes ur statement of account and that of ur sponsor will be needed . the reason why u and ur sponsor will have to explain the money sent to u is to clear the issue of lump sum (cos I want to believe u don't usually or have never received such amount at once in ur account before)

LOL. Don't believe that yet.
Thanks for your advice

get proof from school to show its the school's policy of not accepting tuition until June then let your relative pay the said amount into ur account and explain everything in his/her letter of support..... that's my take, gurus in the house can have a better advise

Thanks for your reply.

Do you mean I'll have to print out the transaction of the said amount transfered to my account and add it to my application?

Please I just want to understand.

Goodevening .... Sorry to disturb .. But I want to ask a few questions .. I want to submit my online application for a 2 year MSC beginning September . Is it advisable for my husband and son to apply alongside with me ? My husband will be applying for a work permit while my son is a USA citizen . What do you advise .. Also I have a statement of 11 million . With 4 million fixed since January and the rest from hubbys business do you think this will be enough ? My school fees is 16.000 for the 2 years . Your prompt response will be appreciated . Thank you

When you say statement of 11 million, do you mean the average transactions for a month in the account is 11 million or the available balance is 11 million?

u can use a third party (close friends or relatives) but they will have to give convincing reasons why they are sponsoring u and to clear any doubt let them pay ur tuition fee and if possible pay ur living expenses into ur account before u apply for trv

In a situation where the payment of your tuition is supposed to commence by June.
How then do they (relative) need to pay your tuition as no details are set up yet to make payment for the program yet

Someone said here using a sponsor's company account is a redflag, what about a coany where your sponsor is the sole signatory and it happens to be in her name like "Joseph and Son Ltd"?

And it also happen to be the only account Tue sponsor does his transactions and have huge sum in?

Just asking for clarity puporse.

Sounds like my family company "Joe and Sons Golden ltd" grin

But there's no problem since the sponsor can attest and get an affidavit of support to that effect. Well I stand to be corrected

Dear Brothers and Sisters,
Its really been an honor being here and the selfless dedication is amazing. Please, I urgently need assistance for a friend who is trying to add a study permit application for an accompanying minor( (10month old).
We are filling a study permit for the baby rather than a visit due to the instruction on UBC site :

""Minor children applying from outside Canada to accompany a parent for work or study in Canada should apply for a study permit. In general, having a study permit (rather than a visitor record) can make the immigration process run more smoothly for accompanying minor children.""

The part of concern is the "Details of Intended Study in Canada" for the 1294E form for the baby
what should be filled in the following sections:
Name of School
My level of study
My Field of study
Address of School
DLI Number
Duration of Study
Please advise with what type of information to fill here as I someone once said leave it blank but the Name of School keep indicating required and for level of study should it be not applicable?
Will really appreciate

Nice I too am heading to UBC for my studies. I have been admitted! smiley

A letter from the school stating they don't receive payment till when trv has been approved will solve it

the school didn't give me any letter to that. but the graduate studies department stated it in a mail

"Thank you for your email.

Please note that the tuition amounts are listed in your admission offer and that you will start paying tuition (ex. the first installment) when your program starts in September.

We do not provide letters confirming when you need to start making payments.

Regards,

Hope this does it? smiley

One photocopy of EACH DOCUMEnt is enough. Please note only photocopies of your documents will be accept except for your bank statement. Thus aside your aside your original SoA no other original document will be accepted except photocopies

so you mean two copies of documents submitted; photocopies and an extra copy of the photocopy.
Hope that is correct?

Good morning house, please I have an issue here o

My sponsor(my maternal aunt) went to print her bank reference and statement of account for me and it turned out too voluminous, so she asked them to print for 3 months which was still over 80 pages with a sitting balance of 25million and a turnover of 750million for that 3 months.

Now my question is, can I use the bank statement of 3 months since she had already transferred 5m to my account last week for my studies? Is it ok to use the statement like that for my application as I am applying on Tuesday. Please I need urgent response?

Help a brother.

Are you applying from abuja?

That picture is the earlier part of the lagos visa office instruction form IMM 5832E with the questionaire for nigerian applicants which was previously used in time past for study permit application.

That PART of the form is now obsolete and replaced by the current IMM 1294E. So nigerian applicants are to only print out the questionaire part and fill will a pen when applying through paper route. i.e the part that have questions like

"How does your program differ from the one in nigeria"

"How long will it take to complete your program"

This is the questionaire section to be printed and completed with a pen. Page 17-18/19 of the LAGOS VISA OFFICE instruction IMM 5832E.

So do you mean we have to leave the other parts which includes amount blank?

Thank you very much. I am interested in University of Toronto and University of British Columbia. My chances of rounding up MSC in UK with over 85% CGPA is positive. I have not published any Journal yet, though my University may published one of my work, any idea if this can affect my chances of gaining admission into these two universities?

UBC is really good to go once you have a supervisor.

what is the best way to handle this?

My mum is my sponsor and I'm using her soa including her business' cert of incoporation for my trv..
I have added the "memorandum of articles and shares" of my family business and an official letter of attestation signed by my dad telling i'm a shareholder in the company. Now i want to also add photocopies of my dad's landed properties as a tie.
Do I need to get another letter from him indicating that he is aware of the use? or should I just add the landed documents?
or should I use add him as a co-sponsor? but I'm not getting his soa. reason best known.
Note: I have one of my landed property doc I added to as a tie.

.

A i have been volunteering in different organisation such as the UN and clinton so i got letters from them to show i have been doing some volunteer work with them. And the same applies to the the church and community.. i do community service and then i got the local office to write me a letter and then for the church am a choir leader for the youth in my church and i teach the young ones on there choir therefore i got a letter from my pastor..

As for the Study plan i wrote it in form of question and answer. When you check your checklist there those 6 questions they ask. So i wrote it in that form. And i did not type i did handwriten.. tho its best you type.. because of handwriting.

The land documents, hope they were photocopies and not original
