Must Jagaban impose? the essence of democracy is to let the peoples will prevail, be it Primary or main Election....no doubt Tinubu may have been betrayed and sidelined, but I think Hw has an IMPOSING FACTOR

He has a thing for "imposing" the right candidates that brings about development and progress.

He should keep on doing that if it will bring our country out of doldrums.

By the way, those APC members are biting , finger that fed them..... Karma is waiting for them.
Politics / Re: Tinubu, Oyegun Row Splits APC NWC Members by rodbel(m): 10:08am On Sep 27, 2016
Reading all comments here, I can't help but wonder... where did we get it wrong.

As a country, I think we deserve all the bad leaders who lie and treat us as slaves, we also do not deserve the natural resources/clime God has bestowed on us. Ours is a country with potential to be great but lacks common sense in its citizenry.

I see e-warriors coming down here to rain curses on our leaders instead of activating pressure groups to make the govt sit tight and hold them responsible for their promises of cleaning up the mess of the previous govt and putting to good use the abundant blessings within us and if they refuse we demand their resignation and force them out if need be.

We all want a good nigeria in a twinkle of an eye forgetting the horrible choices and wastefulness so quick. The present hardship is our handiwork because we failed as a country to hold our past leaders accountable... we are the architect of our own future.

If we fail to endure the present condition while making sure all the decisions as a result of us enduring are followed to the teeth and also make sure implementation is well carried out.

We will have ourselves to blame

It seems most people keep quoting my post just to get likes cheesy

Patience cannot be declared guilty without trial, media trial has helped no one, this is why EFCC has won only eight cases in fourteen years. From $31m she was accused of having who reduced it to $20m? Gullible Nigerians, smh

Please what is the name of that "first community bank" you claim she founded in PH. Also can you please state the Business Enterprise pre-political office that makes her so enterprising

Trash.
If she is corrupt, why not charge her.
Are the likes Amaechi and Tinubu better than her?
If your janjawiid president have the guts let him touch her.
Efcc is a witch hunt and a tool to suppress opposition.

Here we go again!!! I bet you did not even read the article.

A lot is definitely wrong with us (Youths).

When we call for proper prosecution of the "well-known corrupt leaders" it becomes easier to call for the prosecution of the ones hiding under the cloak of "ruling party".

You don't understand as most of yorubas don't understand. There is strong effort by North to keep SE and SS down. I will agree with you and blame Igbos for Enugu airport not being attractive as you said if Port Harcourt and Calabars airports were equally as good as Lagos and Abuja....but they are not as they too are intentionally being underfunded to function below average.

Meaning the north is funding NDA and the numerous other group o militants to bring their own region down... also they re intentionally underfunding Kano and Abuja airports... . Am I missing something your analysis up there.. it does not add up

Put words in my mouth nah. Since you try to judge me, today I go finish you...you hypocrite. Full of hate? Actually yorubas are ones full of hate. Yorubas have no conscience at all otherwise they will be out there protesting that is not fair that Lagos ports and airport are the major destinations for shipping and flying despite SE and SS/oil companies accounting for nearly 80% of patronage. Despite Port Harcourt, Calabar and Warri ports being closer to the ocean than Lagos ports. Yorubas and including yourself are aware of this wickedness but keep quiet because you people have no conscience, just outright wicked and hateful. I'm sure you were in church or mosque today...hypocrites.

OK. Let me just get something... is bombing of assets the way to invite economic development... like will it improve/increase investor confidence

Now there is an international airport in Enugu now... why not make the region more friendly to attract more airlines and businesses to remove the "lagos monopoly"

I won't invest in a region where I know my assets are not safe.. where some nut heads will just wake up one morning and decide they wanna blow up my stuffs..

acxlers2014:
My experience buttresses the point that human nature is such that they look out for self first. I met, dated, proposed and did introduction with a lady in her thirties with the anticipation to marry her three months after that. Well I was charged up and ready to go and I was excited about the whole thing. She came over to my station in one of these northern states and she left after few weeks. I had thought everything was fine when I saw her off to the airport. Well a week after her attitude became funny, she started by asking for a postponement on the wedding, then she became very aggressive and later on she barred my numbers and started acting funny. Before I knew what was happening she started insulting me and saying different things about my capabilities as a man. Well by the grace of God I am a doctor in A government hospital and I own a flourishing practice in my domicile. Sadly no matter how much I tried she never seemed to be ready to come back. Well at a point in the deterioration of our relationship she returned my rings engagement and wedding bands and all the gifts I had given her
She was interviewed by her pastor, my pastor, my folks and she reiterated that she was not coming back. I did not relent even after all these but I had even a stronger resolve to carry on with the whole process. I thought it was a moment of temporary set back that maybe she may come through. How wrong was I. Several texts afterwards. She came out with a bold statement " MOVE ON WITH YOUR LIFE AS I HAVE MOVED ON WITH MINE". IT hurt but is didn't matter to me. Then the deal breaker.......... she sends me conversations between her and a guy who was chiking her via whatsapp and was professing his love to her and she was tripping. With the caption " I WOULD RATHER MOVE ON WITH THIS GUY, HE IS A BETTER MAN TO YOU". She calls up my folks and tell them that I should stay off her back as well as my siblings. That was the CLOSURE I needed and I must say it was a tough call.

As for her family, they supported their own.
Lessons learnt.
The truth is when it is gone don't fight it, just move
on.

Never put your eggs in one basket, the concept of a side chick for every guy is valid, it is for your sanity, little wonder our fathers always seemed to have one

Old women, middle aged women, girls and baby girls are all the same their psyche is way different maybe it has something to do with hormones.

Never stick to an opinionated women, you can't be so silly to think feminism can work in our society

Beautiful women always feel they have an option.

Lastly never compromise your hustle for a woman.

The big lesson for me: NEVER COMPROMISE YOUR HUSTLE FOR A WOMAN

We blame Buhari for everything in this country. To start with, TSA is a good development in terms of how banking relates to the common man... long gone are the days of banks seeking cheap money by giving already made individuals credit facilities leaving the SMEs to fend for themselves... this has helped the economy in no way.

That said, Financial institutions should think of selling customer oriented and flexible credit products to confirmed SMEs to help develop and diversify our economy.

One of the worst things to ever happen to us as a nation is the emergence of mercenary Journalism. Whilst medium like Sahara reporters can serve some good purpose sometimes and some positives may come out of their guerrilla warfare journalistic adventure, the evil they represents majorly may sound d death knell on our corporate existence

Only an incurable fool would not realise this another heap of trash , a hatchet job to tarnish the image of the Ss gov and prejudice the mind of the public against those standing trial from that region. It's been the same tactics since the inception of this administration, blackmail everyone or institution that refused to be intimidated or compromised. Election tribunal judges were either compromised or intimidated to overturn the electoral choices of the people of the Ss, when the supreme court decided to be objective and adhere to the strict interpretation of electoral laws as was done in cases of electoral disputes of Lagos and other APC controlled states , they resorted to blackmail through Sahara reporters and other cheap and irresponsible online media. No one standing trial today can be sure of fair trial, any judge who rule against d govt must have stories of bribery cooked against him and since judges cannot respond to such allegations, the silence is taken by the public as admission of guilt

Sahara reporter should know that lives of millions of Nigerians depend on the peaceful resolution of this needless crisis, polluting the path to a peaceful resolution through baseless allegations can only prolong the sufferings of Nigerians. To allege without proof that the Ss gov were sponsors of the avengers is most irresponsible and callous. We know Tinubu wants Kachikwu out but this is a very inhuman way of damaging the stellar Career of a very brilliant professional, why would the man side with looters?

What image are they tarnishing!? Is it a new development that political office holders from ND are selfish? If they are not why is the region still living the gutter life with the type of allocation it gets from the top...

The earlier the ND youths realise these people are not for them, the better

I wonder why you guys are so quick to defend them. At least it is public knowledge they were met yesterday by the VP, so if those things SR said are lies. They should defend themselves

Btw, how on earth did the Delta gov negotiate a two-week truce with the so called "faceless" group Something is not right...?

It's funny that Nigerians don't seem to know what they expect from their leaders.

Ben Bruce Murray brings a new and refreshing quality that attempts to demystify leadership in Nigeria.

I find it sad that people criticize and Mock him for putting himself out there in the public sphere , on Twitter, to engage Nigerians on daily issues, unscripted and unrehearsed.

In the history of Nigerian politics, no elected officer has ever had the time and humility to climb down from ' Mount Olympus' to engage casually and cordially with the citizenry, the people on whose trust and behalf they exercise their powers.

BMB should be celebrated as A First, a one of a kind mutation in the difficult evolution of good, responsible and responsive leadership in Nigeria.

Pls carry on BMB. smiley

But BILLS are not passed on Twitter now. He can as well make his contributions on the recognized platform before making his famous Twitter declarations. #MO

Ibadan is popular mainly because it was the capital of the western region.

Would you say same of Rome, Venice etc.. old with dilapidated buildings... those old, rustic zinc roofs re historically and proof of an industrial existence dated far back.

Whoelse is competing with their import biz? The moribund refineries? Or the insufficient import by NNPC. If that ain't monopoly I wonder what it is... we need our refineries working.. the real businessmen will be separated from the opportunist when the market becomes less attractive with NNPC pushing locally refined into the market.

How did you all come about this assumption? Just because your neigbour is a lazy man you decided to paint "most" people lazy...from the east to the west and south to north , tell me where there are no lazy people.

This must be coming from an igbo man thinking they are most industrious in nigeria because them carry you from village go learn electrical work. E-diot

What the OP posted up there is the truth. Deal with it. No assumptions whatsoever. He even went ahead to give instances, Rumuokoro, MileOne, Park etc. You will see them natives there harassing hard-working Men and Women...who mostly are non-indigenes.
