To Make it clear to those who don't know what transpired:
The Money in question was paid for the acquisition of the temporary site and structures on it which was built personally by Tompolo. And also for the virgin land of the permanent site which is different from the temporary site. The temporary site contains multi billion naira structures that are fully equipped to the fullest.
Michael Jonny is not speaking for the community, he is an APC chieftain trying to get favour from the present administration. Please help us with pictures of said "fully equipped sites... temporary and permanent alike. Thanks and God bless |

Rivers State would be liberated from the shackles of mediocrity and take its rightful place with the likes of Lagos and Abuja as one of the Top Cities in the Nation.
[/b] This is what quite a number of us the visionary progressives want and only the continuity of the solid foundation of Amaechi by an equally dogged and visionary leader in Peterside can bring this to Fruition. My Rivers people... this is another opportunity for us. |

This way APC will have a national appeal and not an ethnic party (yoruba+hausa party) appeal that it is at the moment.. Please save that. APC has never been an ethnic party. FASHOLA - the name speaks for him already. He set lagos on the part of greatness. A true leader with great ideas. |

ogene007: I guess your type are filthy liars who live by lies, and I will explain. Every time you recite the national pledge, you lie when you say ''I pledge to Nigeria my country'', you also lie when you end it by 'to defend her unity, and uphold her honor and glory, so help me God''. Until the day your type start pledging to Ododuwa your fairytail kingdom, you guys will remain nothing other than silly noise makers. You can be rest assured that when that day comes, the people of the niger delta will also pledge to ensure that never again will the Hausa/Fulani and their southwest slaves, touch their resources. Silly people with their silly Oba. How ironic. If you were so bent on defending the honour and glory of our dear country. Why did you and your kinsmen vote GEJ in your region even in d face of massive corruption and looting of the common wealth of the nation? You dare call me a liar when you and your kin left the truth and decided to allow lies govern your existence. I'm not surprised. As per your threat of using police, as well as anti-Igbo laws, APC will not have overwhelming control of the state house of assembly. Politics › Re: Longest Flyover In West Africa (kano state), Named After OBASANJO- Pictures by rodbel(m): 11:31pm On Apr 10, 2015 |
Whynotthetruth: Yes, there was a form of government under old Enugu state just like Ogun existed long before becoming its own state in 1976...Can you compare a man of 1976 to that of 1991 ...
If you sincerely want to hold your government accountable, you quit making excuse for them like you and many others are doing...
Anambra and other southeast criticise their governors more than anyone else hence the great development you see there unlike your folks who for myopic reasons protect there's and overhype them...
It is your people who defended men like aregbesola who share money here in Lagos, pay political officer holders and owe salaries of state workers while shifting all the blame to Jonathan... But at same time, he and his people are shifting blames on oil revenue via Jonathan; Anambra is increasing salary above minimum wage by 15% and paying them without qualms....
So if 1991-2015 is quite long for Anambra to get huge infrastructure on ground... what will you say about your state of Ogun of 1976-2015; should they still be complaining ...hope you see your hypocrisy now This will be my last response to you. I never made any excuse for my government. That said, previous government in my state made meaningful impact in terms of citizen literacy (onabanjo), agriculture (remember cocoa house) etc. Those are legacies. And they got us to where we are today. I won't bother responding to your Aregbesola comment. The state did that in the last election. And your criticism of your govt is filled with hypocrisy. Y'all quick to shout down fashola but weak in telling your govt the truth. How has your criticism affected the state of things in Abia, Bayelsa, Delta, Enugu, Ebonyi etc. Abia and Ebonyi states are eyesores and before you ask me if I've been there. Yes I have been there. Start the campaign of good governance in your backyard. |
Politics › Re: Longest Flyover In West Africa (kano state), Named After OBASANJO- Pictures by rodbel(m): 10:29pm On Apr 10, 2015 |
Whynotthetruth: Quit hypocrisy and hatred bro...
Ogun state was created in 1976 and Anambra state was created in 1991...do the mathematics of their age difference...
Can Ogun state stand and compete with a seeming young Anambra state in terms of infrastructure notwithstanding the economics of scale of Lagos and multiplier effects of higher institutions ...and you're boasting here... I'm very sure some form of government existed in those places before it was cut out for another state. Anambra is not young bro. 1991 to 2015 is quite a long time to have massive infrastructures on ground to position the state for greatness. Anambra has got a lot of potential for greatness. Get the logic bro. We should start holding our respective govts responsible. |

You and your folks will always remain parasites ,for how long ? I don't know. Still whining about the past Smh! 16years is a lot and enough to create a massive and meaningful impact on your environment/state. Hold your leaders responsible. |

I can only imagine the massive development my beloved Ogun state would have witnessed if it has as much as Akwa-ibom has in terms of federal money....
