Op, if you were this brilliant, why did you not challenge El Rufai, Buhari, Sanusi, Chiroma, Saltan of Sokoto, etc when they were indirectly supporting Boko Haram?

Have you stepped your foot in any of the riverine communities? Do you know about Adaka Boro? Where you alive when Saro Wiwa and Ogoni 9 were murdered? So you think that the Creeks are not already polluted? Or militancy just started because Buhari is president?

Have you ever taken time to check what these people have been agitating for? Go read their demands and fault them, not rhetoric. All the ND militants have asked for same thing over and over. Resource control, instead the Northern oligarchy and the SW collaborators would create divide and rule system to continue plundering the people.

I'll summarize bro.

Yes! Environmental degradation has been on before militancy came to fore but then as they continue to blow more pipelines the degradation worsen and so is livelihood of host communities, low investor patronage, economic downslide in general...

Violence will/can never be a tool to solve the ND challenge. Hardwork (by natives), Diplomacy and total commitment by SS leaders to development will

I wonder how much the looters of 2011 - 2015 would have carted away if we had allowed total subsidy removal during that term. Thank God we resisted!...

As for this present day situation... #YesToSubsidyRemoval #NoToNLCStrike.

NCC cards are issued to salary earners.

Issuance of NCC and it target market are for those in need of a line of credit with a proven source of income that can assure repayment is sufficient for NCC issuance.

StillBrandnew:

The efforts of the last CBN governor in his bid to make the Nigerian economy cash-less is credible.

So far, we have seen positive results with more businesses adopting the P.O.S electronic payments system.

There were hiccups initially with bad networks and lack of electricity to keep them charged but somehow they meandered through it all and more people are now opened to swiping their cards in restaurants and supermarkets.

I for one don't usually carry cash. I usually make my withdrawals and shop for my immediate needs for at least a couple of days. Then I'm left with a little money which is somehow sensible and safe in the sense that I stand to loose a lot less just in case of a robbery or mere carelessness.

Such instances have happened to me in the past and In some cases I was a bit lucky while sometimes I lost a lot.

The crux of the matter now and the reason for this write up is the issue of access to credit.
I for one love credit, not just because I could get something I couldn't afford at any point in time but for the convenience attached to it.

Nigerian mobile networks have been able to adopt this credit facility as a strategy to sell even more with MTN's extra credit and other products by Aitel, Etisalat and Glo.

I think it's about time Nigerian banks start issuing Credit cards to their loyal customers and not just salary accounts as being practised by some banks.

With the new BVN policy which is being put into effect by the CBN, I believe a more accessible credit line being offered by Nigerian banks would expand the economy. This is speaking from a layman's point of view.

There should also be credit assessments and credit scores awarded to customers who transact more with such cards. I am not an economist but common sense only tells me that would be a better way to put the several billions of dollars lying fallow in a few people's accounts.

Great economies around the world are build by ordinary people with small businesses and the Nigerian economy cannot be build on a few people's business empires I.e Dangote and the likes.

Please let the appropriate authorities know so at least the economic hardship the common man is feeling can be eased up a little bit.

Easy access to credit is convenient, easy access to credit means growth.

Just thinking out loud.

Visit a FirstBank branch and ask for a Naira Credit Card. You must have an account with them thou.

This is pure WICKEDNESS. After all the oil money the state of Bayelsa contributes to the revenue of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, they are not allowed a sizable representation in the FG civil service. And some people will be criticising Niger Delta Avengers, because they want to watch Premiership, champions League and Telemundo. Its aiit. Thankgod for GEJ, who did his best to reverse this injustice. Jonathan, you will always be a hero.

A pity thou... you should pay a visit to your "Hero's" state and see how they are wallowing in abject poverty. Your so called hero was a Deputy Governor, a Governor, Vice President and then a President for SIX YEARS. It is definitely a big shame... not even his LG witnessed a breath of his power...

Joke is on you. I doubt u even stay in Rivers State then u will know what Wike is showcasing is child's play compared to what Amaechi did. I'll highlight some for you just in case

1. Rumuokwuta - Rumuola Rd.
2. Rumuokwuta - Choba (Uniport) Rd.
3. Ada George Rd (from NTA - ikwerre rd.)
4. Resurfacing of Airforce - Rupokwu link rd.
5. Trans Woji bridge
6. Oginigba to Slaughter rd.
7. Rumuodara - Artillery Jnct.
8. Diobu inner road
9. Water lines - Ikwerre Rd. (Ikokwu)
10. Resurfacing of GRA...

And these are in PH alone... other LGAs witnessed same

Not to talk of the World class schools he built in with Modern facilities to empower Rivers children...

Amaechi's feat in Rivers is laudable.

Or u want me to remind of you security

if Johnson is really a true prophet as he claims ,he doesn't have to read the bill to know it will bring about impending doom or not and the true motives of does in the inner caucus.

why

because God reveals to his TRUE prophets impending doom, even in the time of plenty and peace whether he is an illiterate or learned
so while a lawyer is going through the bill and debating according the literal words it carries , God might have shown his prophets the future of its release .remember where our wisdom ends ,is the beginning of God's wisdom.

This shows it has an under tune agender targeted at a particular religion.

This is the right time to launch our own National Carrier. To cash in on the shortcomings of the so called international airlines. We won't be needing funds repatriation as Naira is already our base currency. This would also be a source of much needed FOREX for our dear country. Also, employment opportunities directly or indirectly is guaranteed (Pilots, Cabin crews, Administrative personnels etc) President Buhari should please look into this. Some of t recovered stolen funds can be channelled to revive this... I optimistically look forward to that day I would board a brand new NIGERIAN AIRWAYS plane.

God bless my country!!!

You mean... the only person she ha ever been close to is Yunusa. A very good mother should know when her teenage child is becoming too attached to a certain person. She failed in her parenting duties.

Come to think of it she doesn't understand Hausa but she knows the Village chief she was taken to was abusing her and the guy that took her to Kano

Also, Emir of Kano commading his subjects to go marry xtians and convert them for promises of cars and house is too big a news in present day nigeria for someone not to have publish the story.

In as much as I don't support the abduction of the girl under any guise... the parent/ese/media should stop feeding us with BS.
