No tact or direction It has got nothing to do with IPOB or Ibos no. Rather, it's all about Islamophobia: the hatred of anything Islam mainly by evangelical (Pentecostal) Christians. To them anything that hurts Muslims is fine by them even if it goes against the teachings of Jesus Christ |

Christianity Etc › Re: How A Nurse Used The Blood Of Jesus To Save Me From Death - My Testimony (Photo) by Roger3D(m): 10:07am On Feb 02, 2025 |
GistMedia0: DISCLAIMER: THIS IS MY PERSONAL TESTIMONY. I AM NOT TRYING TO PERSUADE OR COERCE ANYONE INTO ANY RELIGIOUS BELIEF.
A few years ago, after completing my compulsory six-month Industrial Training (IT) and waiting for my final year session to begin, I was working on a practical project for my IT defense, which was to be presented soon.
While using a very sharp knife to cut some materials, it slipped from my hand and landed right between my left thumb and index finger. The cut was so deep that I could literally see my bone. Blood gushed out like a fountain, soaking my room in minutes.
Sensing the danger, I quickly poured hydrogen peroxide on the wound, hoping to stop the bleeding, but it didn’t work. The cut was too deep and wide, and I couldn’t even bear to look at it twice. In a panic, I tore a piece of fabric, wrapped it around my hand, and rushed to a nearby drugstore owned by a nurse.
As soon as she saw the depth of my wound, she gasped and asked what had happened. I just told her to proceed with the treatment, assuring her I’d explain later. She cleaned and dressed the wound with some liquid medication, and almost instantly, the bleeding stopped.
When she asked if I wanted stitches, I refused out of fear, insisting the wound would heal on its own.
THE UNEXPECTED TURN
After the final dressing and bandaging of the wound, I felt relieved as the nurse explained my treatment routine and the medications I needed to take. But suddenly, everything went blank.
I felt empty, as if my soul was leaving my body. It was a painful, forceful separation, and I was utterly helpless. My body felt dry, drained of life. In those few moments, I experienced something beyond comprehension—I felt as though I was traveling between the past and future, reliving memories in flashes. My soul was crying, and my biggest thought was how my mother would react upon hearing that her son had died in school.
It all happened so quickly. Just as I was about to collapse completely, I heard a loud cry: "THE BLOOD OF JESUS! OH, THE BLOOD OF JESUS!"
Over and over, the nurse repeated these words. In that instant, my soul awakened, and an unexplainable surge of energy rushed through my body.
Apparently, while I was slipping away, the nurse noticed my eyes rolling back and turning white. Realizing I was losing consciousness, she immediately began pleading the blood of Jesus over me. That was how I came back to life!
A MIRACULOUS HEALING
As if that wasn’t enough, another miracle followed—the deep wound that should have taken weeks to heal started closing up within days. Even the nurse was astonished! She attributed it to me having good skin, but deep down, I knew it was God at work.
Despite my injury, I completed my project successfully and defended it excellently. Today, I have long graduated, healthy and strong, to the glory of God. Horse shiit |

Politics › Re: What Ojukwu Said To Those Who Say He Ran Away Like A Coward by Roger3D(m): 4:49pm On Jan 30, 2025 |
gidgiddy: I laugh when hear some people say that Biafran Warlord, Ojukwu, was coward for running away at the end of the war. I don't know any coward who would take on the military might of Nigeria for three years. Those who cannot fight for their freedom for 3 minutes against Nigeria, think Ojukwu who fought for three years is a coward? Very amusing 😆
In 2001, Journalist, Rudolph Okonkwo, interviewed Ojukwu in America, and one of the questions was about this running away matter.
RUDOLF OKONKWO: Modern day analysts have opined that the Ojukwu that died in 1970 would have been more powerful than the living Ojukwu of this day. Why didn’t you stay and fight until the end?
OJUKWU: Consider committing suicide? I am asking. What I considered was to fight the war to the best of our ability and give a leadership to our people for as long as I could. If you remember, when I left Biafra I went in search of peace. I went trying to get hold of Houphouet-Boigny, the president of the Ivory Coast. He happened to be in Cameroon. By the time he came back and we had a discussion, my number two, General Effiong, had surrendered. That was the way it came about. But all that notwithstanding, I know many people would have loved a dead Ojukwu but I would not oblige them. I intend to live for very, very, much longer and I intend also to be quite vocal in politics for as long as I can.
The one Nigerianist and unity beggars would have loved for Ojukwu to stay back and be used for target practice by the Nigerian Army. Ojukwu challenged the existence of their British colony called Nigeria. Ojukwu denied them the sweet pleasure of parading Ojukwu's dead body for the world to see, and declaring that Biafra was dead as Ojukwu. For them, bravery is not when you stand up and fight in difficult conditions, bravery is when you relax and present your self to be used as target practice by your enemies after fighting 😆
Unfortunately, for them, Ojukwu was not stupid to that level.
The full interview below
https://www.nairaland.com/811932/interview-ojukwucomments-coup-awolowo He lied. Biafra was at the brink of collapse and he fled to save his hide before the federal forces got a hold of him. All that talk about him going to Ivory Coast to seek peace was an afterthought. Anyways it's been 55 years and the man is no more so let this dark chapter in our past rest with him |
Travel › Re: FG suspends MaxAir's Operations For 3 Months Following Tyre-bust Incident by Roger3D(m): 4:44pm On Jan 29, 2025 |
themosthigh: This is the problem with the Nigerian government. A NIGERIAN airline had a problem and what you do is immediately suspend operations, while United Airlines had a problem last week, and because it's American, they left it to continue operating. Is that the way to do things? Why stop all their planes from operating for 3 months because of a single non-fatal accident?
Will they do the same thing if the airline was owned by their tribesman? Has air peace been suspended during any of their various mishaps?
Even in the USA, Delta and United had issues earlier this month, yet the government did not disrupt business by banning them. They will end up destroying the Nigerian airline industry like they have destroyed everything else. You conveniently |
