Religion / Re: A Christian That Commits Suicide, Will He Go To Hellfire? by Roger3D(m): 11:06am On May 05
paxonel:
Let's assume that hellfire is a place everybody will go when they do something wrong. Will a Christian who commits suicide go to hellfire?

Why will anyone think that committing suicide will anul all the born again effort he has been living through out his life until the very day he decided to kill himself?
Is it so written in the bible?

But here is what i saw in the bible.

Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

That means if you commit sin you will die.

In this context, the person who commit sin is the person who refused to believe in Christ.

But the person who believe in Christ you will never die, because eternal life is a gift.

So, why will anyone think that someone who believes in Christ will die simply because he had sinned by commiting suicide?

Are There Lukewarm Christians In Heaven?

Let's hear what Jesus had to say about that.

Revelation 3:15-16 (KJV)

I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot.
So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.

So if we go by what Jesus says, it means there aren't and will be no lukewarm Christians in heaven, because Jesus said He will spue them out.

God bless.
There are no Christians in heaven. You're just tripping on European steroids

Politics / Re: Odumegwu Ojukwu Was The First Billionaire In Nigeria by Roger3D(m): 3:03pm On May 04
Blaze14k:
Sir Louis Odumegwu-Ojukwu (1908-1966)

Louis Odumegwu-Ojukwu, according to anecdotes, was the first billionaire Nigeria ever produced. He was the founding president of the Nigerian Stock Exchange. As an honour for supporting the British military during World War II with his fleet of trucks, he was knighted by Queen Elizabeth II. The queen – on the request of the colonial administration – was said to be driven in a Rolls Royce owned by Ojukwu.

“Few people realise that he still remains the richest African by every standard today, worth in trillions if you consider that he left about £10m in 1966 – at 10 per cent compound interest,” SUNDAY PUNCH was told by a source close to the family.

Ojukwu was said to have made his money by importing dried fish, dealing in textiles, cement and transport.

He was also the president of the African Continental Bank. He was on the board of companies such as Shell Oil Nigeria Limited, Guinness Nig. Ltd, Nigerian National Shipping Lines, Nigerian Cement Factory, Nigerian Coal Corporation, Costain West Africa Ltd, John Holt, and Nigerian Marketing Board, among others.

He co-authored a report on the Economic Mission to Europe and North America, which recommended the investment of extra funds from the produce marketing board in a regional bank and public corporations to stimulate economic development. He was known for his exquisite taste in clothes, shoes and food.

When he died a year later, his wealth was put at an estimated $4bn in today’s economic value.
And where does that leave Mensa Musa the richest human who ever lived? Was he not an African too?

Religion / Re: Why Did Pastor Isaac Oyedepo Lose So Much Weight? by Roger3D(m): 4:10pm On May 01
Daejumong:
Why did Pastor Isaac Oyedepo lose so much weight?

What could make the son of a billionaire shed so much weight in a short space of time ?

Pastor Isaac claimed he had health challenges as a result of his weight and losing weight has made him very healthy.

He lost weight through dieting and exercise.

Let us learn from this man of God and shed excess weight.

What are the dangers of being overweight?

Type 2 Diabetes: Obesity increases the risk of developing type 2 diabetes.

Heart Disease: Excess weight contributes to heart disease.

High Blood Pressure (Hypertension): Obesity is linked to elevated blood pressure.

Dyslipidemia: This includes high LDL cholesterol, low HDL cholesterol, or elevated triglyceride levels.

Certain Cancers: Obesity raises the risk of breast, colon, and endometrial cancers.

Stroke: Obese individuals are more susceptible to strokes.

Gallbladder Disease: Obesity can lead to gallstones.

Fatty Liver Disease: Accumulated fat in the liver affects its function.

Sleep Apnea and Breathing Problems: Obesity contributes to sleep apnea and other respiratory issues.

Chronic Lower Back Pain and Arthritis: Excess weight strains joints and worsens osteoarthritis, especially in the knees

Impotence: Excess fat can block arteries supplying the penis and cause erection problems

You are termed overweight if your BMI is more than 25.
Obese if BMI more than 30 .
Normal is 20 - 24.9
BMI is calculated by dividing weight in kg by height in metres squared. BMI=Weight in Kg/ Height in Metres * height in metres.
For example if your weight is 100kg and your height is 2metres. Your BMI will be 100/2*2=100/4=25

Pls calculate your BMI today and work on your weight if you are overweight or obese.

Kindly share with friends and family to save more lives. God bless us all.
He's no pastor but just the son of a pastor crook.

Culture / Re: Biracial: What Could Be The Reason For Fair Complexion Among The Igbos? by Roger3D(m): 3:26pm On Apr 29
chnnmfl:
I read somewhere that during British Colonialism in Nigeria, the Brits prefers sleeping with Igbo and calabar women due to them being neater than others, that that's the reason why there are many fair skinned people among Igbos.

I wanted to believe it but then I remembered these Igbo surnames:

1. Okorocha: White skinned young man.

2. Nwokeocha: White skinned man.

3. Okocha: Fair complexioned male child.

These names predates colonialism in igboland. The names have been in existence before the coming of Britain.

These igbo men below have both igbo parents and grandparents. I delerately left out the women, I don't want to mistakely include bleached skins.

1. Anambra Music, Phyno

2. Imo State Actor, Mike Godson
3. Abia State House Of Rep Member, Alex Ikwechegh

What do think about it?
Africans who attach undue importance to light skin suffer from inferiority complex. No matter how light skinned you are, you will never be accepted by the whites who discriminate against the multiracial kids born to their own. I've lived in Europe for sometime and I see it everyday
