Simbam:
In no distant time, the former president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Olusegun Obasanjo GCFR, may soon write an Open letter to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. In his usual manner, the former president has always written open letters to all the Presidents after him, apart from the late Yaradua. In a bid to draw the attention of the presidency to the current happenings in the country, the elder statesman who is known for being fearless has always written open letters, openly calling out the flaws of the sitting president.
Nevertheless, almost 9 months into the administration of President Tinubu, he is yet to write a letter to him. Questions have arisen such as; could it be that he is scared of a backslash from his ethnic group as they both share same tribe? Or is he still monitoring and evaluating what is happening in the nation?
... These news editors de try o... Pls someone should help me continue this news as e suppose be It's about time he did cos Tinubu has lost his mind 1 Like |

Religion / Re: Share Tithes, Church Proceeds With The Needy, Pastor Charges Clerics by Roger3D(m): 6:23pm On Feb 20 |
Roger3D: He said the importance of feeding the poor and the needy in times of hardship can’t be overemphasized.
Amid the economic hardship facing Nigerians, the head of Awaiting the Second Coming of Christ Ministry, Pastor Adewale Giwa has called on all religious leaders across the country to cultivate the habit of sharing a large portion of tithe and church proceeds to the needy.
The cleric stated this on Monday while featuring on a radio programme titled ‘Agbami Oselu’, aired on Fresh 102.9FM, Akure, Ondo State.
Giwa who urged worshippers not to show lackadaisical attitude towards paying their tithes, however said the importance of feeding the poor and the needy in times of hardship can’t be overemphasized.
He said: “We are under obligation to bring 10 per cent of the profit that we make from our business transactions or from the salary we earn. This is contained in the Bible book of Malachi 3:10.
“However, the controversy over the issue of tithes is unnecessary. It is happening now because some of the big-time servants of God have betrayed the gospel and their calling.”
He said, “I am not against tithing. When you see Deuteronomy 14:28-29, it itemizes four people which tithe are meant for. The Levites, foreigners, widows and the fatherless. So, it is not only pastors that owns tithes. However, the way we cleric take it today is what is causing protests by the people.”
Besides, Pastor Giwa who attributed the hardship battling Nigerians to the removal of fuel subsidy by President Bola Tinubu, however, he appealed to marketers of products to stop hiking price of the commodity so as to lessen the suffering of the masses.
On security threats confronting the country, the cleric said, the poor road network across the country is fuelling insecurity stalling development and making life more difficult for citizens.
“One of the factors contributing to our insecurity is our poor road conditions. You can see that they hide at every bad portions of the road and kidnap their victims.
“So, it’s all to the government and we can’t ask a thief to be in charge of a bank. This is because, prior to the 2023 presidential election, two prominent Nigerians Alimodu Sheriff and Muhammad accused our current vice president of funding terrorism in Nigeria.
“However, we turned deaf ears to their accusations and you can see that we are facing the consequences today.
“Two,when notorious bandit, Kabir Sokoto was arrested, it was alleged that he was picked at the vice president’s lodge. I believe that since our security architecture had provided all these we shouldn’t have waisted time in wadding in, investigate and prosecute anyone found wanting but we failed to act.”

Gracelander: I just had to ask this question because it's been causing issues between me and my guy. He doesn't seem comfortable at all with me having male friends and he throws tantrums each time I visit my bestie. He even tells me to my face that he doesn't trust me, so he scrutinize every move I make.
Each time I answer calls from male friends with him around it leads to him nagging about how much I don't respect him and it's not as if I talk dirty or tell them that I love them, just friendly conversations. We had a slight issue last night cos I came over to see him and stay for a week before leaving, I didnt warm the food out of anger and it got spoilt this morning. When I told him about the food he told me that it was supposed to be our breakfast so that means no food this morning.
I had to chat one of my friends and he agreed to take me out, I dressed up and left the house and he sent me a message not to return to his house. Did I do something wrong? It's wrong cos it's disrespectful to your man 2 Likes |

gartamanta: While some people are lamenting online about the increased hardship under Bola Tinubu, Igbos have started doing the opposite, they have started celebrating the hardship
In a video that has gone viral on Facebook, a group of Igbo traders bought several cartons of beer and drinks to celebrate the hardship the Tinubu administration has brought on Nigeria
According to them, they had warned Nigeria about Tinubu, but Nigerians chose not to listen. The men then started singing an Igbo song that God ordained Tinubu as President so as to reset the brains of Nigerians with 8 years of suffering
They also demanded maximum support for Tinubu to continue after 2027 and that no Igbo should protest against the hardship in the country

horsepower102: I will start by saying that when it comes to action, igbos will take a competent leader over their tribesmen.
The first elected mayor of Enugu was a Fulani man.
The igbos supported OBJ, Yaradua, Jonathan.
We Igbos have agreed that you have sworn to never vote for an igbo man. Ok thats fine. We will never change your mind.
But the least you can do is to provide a good and competent leader from your tribe. Una refuse.
Tribalists please give us a good leader from your tribe and we igbos will ignore your hate and vote for that person.
We care more about progress than spiteful tribalistic nihilism.
This was just a ceremonial title Zik game to the poor Fulani man in furtherance of his national ambitions. I personally don't have any problem voting for an Ibo man or whoever sef, but you see that your neo-liberal, world bank, IMF loving Peter Obi guy, he's just as worthless as Tinubu and Atiku. 1 Like |
