Good day Vo & good members in the house.

Its been 6 months today that application was submitted to uscis for K-1 spouse petition but no mail or response yet, Does it usually take longer than that or is there anything has to be done by our lawyer?

Hi all,

I would like to pay for my B2/B1 after filling the Ds-160 form and all, Can i make payment here in (SA) to schedule interview in Lagos OR the person who i am going to meet over there can pay on my behalf, Pls advice paying here and there any is convenient, I don't use internet banking, Please anyone with same experience or have idea on what to should pls help out with reply.....

My wife is a Us citizen and we currently have K-1 spouse pending petition, I don't have any tiles back home except my house on my name and i am currently studying outside country (SA) visiting my wife would be amazing...and also i have some travel to some countries and i am capable of sponsor my own trip, Do i stand a chance for this visitors visa?

Please advice??

I really appreciate the good work sir.

Last month my wife filled for (K-1) and all information submitted are accurate and truthful but birth certificate i submitted is the one issued by the Local government from my home town, now i am confuse because this same certificate i used through out my school days and for my school here in SA.

My questions are :

1: Is this birth certificate not recognize by USCIS, because i found a forum here and lots of people are talking about NPC birth certificate.

2: We hope this wont result to not getting approval on our case or what should do i do as we already received the form I-797C notice of application received.

I will appreciate your quick response on these...Thanks.

I am more worried about the question am about to ask, in 2014 i used an agent to get SHENGEN visiting visa and the whole document used by him are all FAKE from A-Z cry

but now i have US immigrant pending application, Pls i hope it none of this will link together in anyway? huh

Hello Rol3nd -

Yes, it is possible to apply for a tourist visa while you have a pending K-1 fiance visa petition, or even a IR1/CR1 spouse visa petition pending.
The officer who interviews you on the application for the tourist visa will need to make a determination as to whether or not you intend to immigrate on the tourist visa you are applying for or not. Note that a fiance or a spouse in the US are very strong ties to the US, so you will need to have equally compelling ties to Nigeria to be issued the visa. That said, I have issued tourist visas to people who have pending immigrant visa petitions, so it is not impossible.

Be patient until d outcome of your petition b4 making another move whatsoever to d embassy.
