Update!!!

Work Authorization approved and got my card June 28 2022, got a Job offer in September at one of the top pharmaceuticals company in the US.

Adjustment of Status for Permanent Residency approved with no interview December 21 2022. (We filed everything ourselves from K1- i485 without getting a lawyer)

Bottom line, come prepared to the state, know that it won’t be easy and everything will take time before eventually falling in place for you, surround yourself with people that are informed and make your own research.

Lastly, do your best and leave the rest for God to handle.

You can be childhood friends with your fiancée, if you cannot answer your questions well, a CO that is not patience or had a bad day may deny you (May we not encounter them)

Before going for my interview, i thought K1 visa was automatic, that with just few questions i was good to go.

Me and my fiancée shared a baby together (which automatically proves that our relationship is genuine), we had even filed for a CRBA in Nigeria for our baby, his US passport was ready before my interview, that wasn't enough reason for the CO not to DRILL me. CO's are different, some will ask just 3 questions and they are fine, some just wants to drill and drill for no just reason.

A 70year-old can be your fiancée and your visa will be approved; it is how well you answer your questions and how well you know about your fiancé and perhaps Grace.

Just answer your questions well, know your relationship (don't limit yourself with questions you see online) and be confident, some CO's can be intimidating, if you did not hear the questions well, tell the person to repeat his/herself. Do not say what they did not ask you.

But This is not the issue of circumstances of how you meet, like he said initially, he wasn’t sure of how they met coz they have been friends 5 years before they started talking. He did not prepare his story or answer well on that coz if he does the consular will have no choice than to believe what he stick to coz she don’t know nothing about how they met so whatever you prepare to say and stick to it with confidence they must believe coz they don’t know your story and they don’t know nothing abt you both except for the information you provided in you petition and some on your social media and on DS-160 you submitted if you have previously applied for US visa.

This is a lesson for everyone, you can meet through a friend or anyone or you knew your petitioner from school or what have you, if you don’t prepare your story or answer well when they ask how you met those guys no get time oo den go deny straight.

People have been meeting via social media for decades and do not have this type of difficulty getting a visa.

Even if you meet through other means apart from social media it doesn’t mean that it can’t be fraud coz some people do it for money and den go bring beneficiary from another country to US so make sure you guide well before you go for interview.

Hello people, I am new in this trend and just want to start this process, the PROCASTINATION has to stop. I tried to check the Canadian site to see what my score would be, because I heard there is a draw of 440 as at last week. These are my questions.

• Will OND and HND fetch me more marks than just BSC?
• What happens if my course of study is not in any way related to the NOC A, B or O, is it that I will have zero points or I will not have at all.

He's got everyting a man wants, he has a gud xter and he's parent are very nice and caring when I was introduced to them! But am scared, cos I rily dnt knw if a guys gud xteracter is enof for marraige! Wat next can one look out for! He lovin, caring, calm, respectful and all! And smtymes I feel wat else do I want from a man! But smtime I feel nervous cos have always been scred about marraige since I was 20, (am 25 now). hello naira land am just here to share my bitter experience with the director of my company . this man as been making diff passes to me, whenever we are aving a meeting he keeps making diff signs dat makes me distracted , any time i make lil mistakes and am being reported in the management meeting, he finds a way to side me which makes it the worse part cos people will start suspecting if something is really goin on. he never asked me out, but does silly thing dat a boss need not do to hes co worker. getting the job was as simple as ABC just a day inteview and d next day was an appointment letter with a mouth watering pay! am soo scared cos i feel he employed me for a purpose and am scared before it goes beyond this. pls i need an advice cos i cant imagine him asking me out .
