Pls, sabi mamas don't read and pass oh! I really need some advice here. How do I get my pre pregnancy tummy back? What are d tricks and methods u ppl use?
Also, wen does postpartum bleeding stops? I will be 4weeks pp tmrw but d red blood stopped after 2weeks, since then I've been seeing some creamy discharge everytime I change my pad........Is dis normal?

I think the postpartum bleeding ie lochia depends on your body system. I'm also still on it and it's past 3 weeks already. since its not red blood I feel its nothing serious.

We thank you lord for our health and finances, our homes, careers businesses, spouses and everything that you have given to us to make our lives very beautiful and worth living, please accept our thanks and praises in Jesus Name.
Daddy we know we are sinners as we come to your throne of grace to ask for the forgiveness of all our sins. in any way we have fallen short of your glory, in our thoughts words and deeds,sins of commission and omission, we pray that you have mercy upon us,forgive us all our sins, blot out our transgressions and write our names in the book of life in Jesus Name.
We pray for our unborn babies that you secure them in Jesus Mighty name from all the arrows of the enemies and the wicked ones. We pray you shield them from the snares of fowlers and noisome pestilence. No weapon fashioned against them shall prosper in Jesus Name. We pray for perfect formation of all our babies. All their internal And external organs will develop perfectly and function well. We shall not give birth to diseased, deformed,jaundiced or mentally impaired babies in Jesus Mighty Name.
Dear lord, we pray against any form of loss in our midst in Jesus name. There shall be no miscarriage, stillbirth,loss of father or mother, bleeding, premature loss of water or rupture of the membrane.
We pray that our babies' umbilical cords, placenta, and amnoitic fluid shall function fine, well and serve them properly til they are due for delivery in Jesus name.
On the day of our delivery, the good lord shall make it easy for us. Our labour shall be short and we shall deliver like the Hebrew women In Jesus Name. All the care givers present shall render to us the best care that suits us in Jesus Name. we shall leave the hospital alive with our babies and husbands and everybody shall gather to celebrate with us In Jesus Name.
We pray for pur TTC mamas, that the Almighty shall wipe their tears and give them pleasant surprise in Jesus Name.
We also remember all our mamas that have put to bed that the good lord will take care of the babies and make them source of joy to their families forever.
Daddy please bless,protect ,secure and perfect all that concerns us this week and beyond In Jesus Name. Everything we lay our hands upon shall prosper And we shall have testimonies in Jesus Name. Please lord, bless our homes and husbands and let all be well with us.

Testimony Time!

My darling son Henry is two weeks Already and I can't but appreciate God for how far he has helped us. The past week and some days was hell and I thank God for the grace to pull through.

I had my baby on the 31st of January and was discharged on the 1st of March, which was on a Thursday. I wasn't lactating and couldn't feed the baby all through that Wednesday, same thing on Thursday so I decided to buy NAN formula for my baby. I noticed he was restless and not feeding well. He also had a high temperature but everyone l told kept saying his temperature was fine. Fast forward to Friday night, his eyes had turned yellow, he was almost lifeless. I waited til sat morning and took him to the hospital. He was tested for jaundice and the bilirubin level in his blood had skyrocketed. The total was close to 400. The Dr was amazed and said it was way too high for a 3 day old baby.

I was scared to the bone when she said it may cross to the brain and once it does, the person becomes an slowpoke. The Dr suggested an immediate EBT ie his whole blood was drained and another transfused to him. That day was the scariest day of my life.We had to arrange for donor and the procedure was done. Thank God it was successful. Baby was placed under the photo therapy light after the whole transfusion.

The pain my son went through could only be imagined especially when a house officer kept chooking him with needle while looking for his vein for close to an hour. it was so bad that i almost fought the Dr. They later chased me and my hubby out. We were peeping through the window and my son was crying like he'll die any moment. The Dr had to send for his supervisor later when he didn't get it and the baby was exhausted from screaming.

We were on admission for almost a week. my baby lost a lot of weight, that yeye light cooked his forehead,neck and some part of his hands. I also fell Ill due to excess mosquito in d hospital compound and the stress of going up and down.The stitch down below loosed and the pain was out of this world. I couldn't walk properly. Thank God for my mom that stayed behind at the hospital at times for me to get some rest and catch some sleep

In all, we are home and recovering fast. we thank God because his mercy endures forever.

Experienced mamas in the house, my son is such a foodie who wouldn't mind sucking the whole day. He wakes up and cries once I put him off breast. I was advised to breastfeed him exclusively for a whole to compleletly get rid of the jaundice if not I would have fed him with formula. what can I do to increase the way I lactate to keep up with his demand for food cos I'm already exhausted.

Daddy please take perfect control on the day of our delivery. let the Drs,Nurses and everyone present work in our favor in Jesus name. There shall be no mistake or any type of error in Jesus mighty name.

We pray for all that have given birth that you make their LOs forever be source of joy to us all In Jesus Name.
We also pray for our TTC mamas that you pls answer them speedily and perfect all that concerns them in Jesus name.

Is it compulsory you use a white coloured gown for christening/naming a baby girl? what if it's a mixture of white & any other colour?

i say a very big thank you to all mamas that took out time to celebrate me and my prince. we are really grateful. im getting better now though with alot of pain underneath . i thank you all for appreciating the prayer i lead here. May God continue to answer all our prayers. I'll continue to lead the prayer by Gods grace, and officially resign with my cappo when she's handing over in March. i love y'all endlessly. Thank you house for the taking out time to help one another .

Birth story (BS)

I'll start by appreciating the most high for his faithfulness, throughout my pregnancy journey. it was indeed a fearful period for me, but the presence of God sure made a difference.

Getting a BFP after 2 months of an unexplainable still birth in March 2017 was a big one for me. My joy knew no bound and the excitement was heavenly. I quickly reported to my Dr and he promised to do everything to keep this baby because there's an urgent need for the child. He decided to carry out some tests, to find out what caused the previous death in order to avoid them all and be safe. All the tests we did came out fine. That's how this man instilled the fear that lasted throughout the journey into me. That he's afraid it may happen again, since the tests couldn't reveal anything and cases like that seem to come back. i was scared and i took solace in God. i trusted him completely for me and the baby in my womb.

Fast forward to the pregnancy period, the experience wasnt so bad, my major challenge was being unnecessarily agitated each time i didn't feel the baby's movement. Scans kept reassuring me that all was well. And my baby really dealt with me in that area. He was so lazy that his movement was really minimal.

By mid January, i was already tired of be in pregnant, i wanted to meet my baby, all my scan results moved upward to two weeks earlier ie Jan 30 instead of the original Feb 11. I woke up with painful contractions on the 30th of January. i timed it and noticed it was 20 minutes apart. i woke hubby up that our baby is on the way. i tidied up everywhere and told him to get someone to weave my hair,so that we can go to the hospital when the contractions get to 10 mins apart. But along the line, contractions stopped and i was OK again. i was partly happy because i wanted a Feb baby but sad at the same time cause i want to meet my baby. My hubby was sad . On the 31st of Jan, contraction woke me up again around 12.30 Am. i endured til morning, and told hubby again. I told him that we should go to the Hospital around 12 noon that i would have dilated reasonably then. The pains became unbearable that he had to take me around 10.30 AM. i was checked and was 4cm gone.

I progressed very fast and before long i was almost 10 cm. Trouble started when time for shift came around 2pm. The nurse on duty resumed and the morning nurse handed over each patient to her. when it got to my turn, she mentioned my name and said she knows someone that bears that name.The other nurse eventually left and this woman came to meet me again where in was struggling for my life and that of my baby when i was almost 9cm gone, questioning me about my name, how I'm related to the person that she knows that bears that name. i was screaming my lungs at each contraction, but she kept asking questions. she later went to sit down And i heard her telling her co nurses that that man she's asking me about was her man friend and would love to get in touch with him again, that he was so nice to her and really took good care of her.

She was caught up with the gist that she forgot all the patients. i reached 10cm. called and shouted her name, she didn't answer. At each contraction at 10cm i tried to push on my own cause of the strong urge. When she eventually came to my aid after a very long 15mins that looked like forever, i had already torn my perineum and she tore the remaining flesh to the anus. My baby Came after about 6 assisted time of pushing. I didn't allow the woman to stitch me cause I felt a heavy hatred towards her. A Dr came after abt 30 mins to do the stitching. He screamed at the level of tear. He said its a 3rd degree one and i bled heavily. The injection given to deaden the cells of my vagina didn't work for me. i was given the injection twice but to no avail, the stitching had to be done anyway and i visited heaven and came back. The pain was out of this world.

Despite all these, i thank God for keeping me and my baby alive and i hope to embark of another missionary journey before the end of the year. Make i do and finally close shop. Thank God it ended in praise.

I finally had the courage to appear here.Its been such a long while
I had to come to terms with loosing my baby on the 19th August.I have shed tears,grieved and I am coming to terms with my loss after an emergency cs.

Look for 'Banta Cameo London Cross Front Bra' . It's very nice & does d job perfectly. It's a bra for all choice (sports, nursing, cooperate, casual ,etc). I plan to continue with it after nursing my baby. My dh luvs d fitting d bra gives me. He doesn't stop talking abt d bra & d way my bwest looks pointed on top EBF . It comes in two colours (white & black).

The hair is from her father's family o, I don't use anything on it. We only wash with soap once or twice weekly. All other washing is just to run water through. Was using baby oil on it till I learnt mineral oils are not good for the hair so we switched to coconut oil. I feel like eating her head after rubbing it on.
We've not started any other orishirish yet o, cos I didn't know I was going to have a girl. When she clocks 3 months we can then go out and start buying. For now, even one single hair pin, we no get. [s] B4 b4, I wanted a boy first, but now, I won't have it any other way [/s]

You need to see the way her father threatens me that we'll cut the hair. He says it anytime he wants to see me boil. Abeg, is it compulsory to cut baby's hair? Cos me I'm not planning to o, except the hair starts misbehaving.
Still thinking of how to convince the man to drop the idea. He says we should cut it so better one can grow. Abeg, what do I do?

pls don't cut the hair. Don't mind the superstitious stuff abt having to shave off first hair. My elder sis hair has not been cut since she was given birth to. she's close to forty and nothing do am. my mom left the hair cos it was this fine. she still has long hair sha, but she lost some to her babies too.
