Anak123 sorry dear,tooth removal can be so terrible and painful,especially for a pregnant woman. .I could remember I almost died when I removed a tooth. it was so painful that I regretted doing it worst part was that no pain reliever worked for me.

I'll suggest u take pap/custard for the next three days as I was advised when I did mine. After u can start eating rice,spag beans etc. Abeg free yam and ileya meat for now and if ileya meat is a must u can collect and store In d freezer til u are properly healed, as one mama suggested earlier.

bitter leaf and scent leaf. wash well,squeeze out the juice and drink. works perfectly well for me instead flagyl and tetracycline. But I have never tried it in pregnancy so if u are pregnant,consult wide and ensure its safe before use.

I wanted to say this sometimes ago when ahnie made observation that some people register and then disappear when they are almost due. I want to believe no sane person will just disappear after celebrating others without waiting to be celebrated through the announcement of BA.

Next time when we notice any of our teamies disappear, let's constantly check on them and most importantly say a word of prayer for them. it will go a long way.

I could remember when I lost my 6 months pregnancy, shame won't even lemme come back.I was withdrawn,dejected,frustrated just name it. But the mention won't just stop coming from my former teamie then,iyomomoreloaded always checking on me and asking me to say hi. I didn't have a choice than to report and let the house know what's up. People react to things differently,while some will see it as no big deal, for someone like me,it took a lot of determination to come back to say what happened. And if not for iyomomoreloaded,maybe I might have disappeared and come back as guest during subsequent pregnancy.

I'm dedicating this to my darling iyomomoreloaded. Even though we stopped seeing you in June when you should have shared your BA,I pray that the presence of God abide with you and perfect all that concerns you.

Cappo phlakkeys,I admire you,you are strong woman,you will smile again!

Lastly,there shall be no loss again in the house. we shall all carry to term IJN.

Good evening everybody, hope we all had a good day....


So....... I feel m suffering too much in this pregnancy! Wetin sef! , morning sickness, cough, malaria......now catarrh. I used chloroquine, augmentin, one bitter tasting cough syrup like that, loratyn, n normal BP drugs.......malaria didn't go, doc said I couldn't do much but it as it was first trimester.

After like two weeks, used metakelfin, two weeks after, coartem, zinnat, loratyn, OTRIVIN nasal spray for severely blocked nose! Used it all now

The problem now is the nose still gets terribly blocked its impossible to breath hence no sleep , doc said not to use otrivin(which has been like a life saver). For more than 5 days. It's miserable not to be able breath properly. I can't sleep, can't eat, drink water in peace as my mouth has to be free to breath.

I'm tired!! Sorry for the rant biko. Pardon any blunders, I cant edit abeg

Please the experienced mum in the house, how do you stop excessive salivating??

I'm not happy with this new development i've noticed. i have to continually spit every now and then, or swallow my saliva, which is even worse (my mouth is bitter, so swallowing it can cause me to vomit).

Don't really understand why my mouth is suddenly producing excess saliva.. (i'm 7 weeks)

Those that experienced it, is there any way to stop it?

pele dear,maybe its part of your package. you know bodies are different and if that's how your body decides to work,then there's little you can do about. You can try chewing gum if it will work for you or get a fancy container to jejely spew the excess saliva. Pls stop swallowing it,cause it can irritate your bowel. Don't worry,you will be alright.

We plenty oo but since we never senior anybody we just hibernate and some of us they fight Ms. Please take your prenatal drugs, avoid pineapple, dabino/dates, unripe paw paw, undercooked abi semicooked egg or meat, small small with kpekus ministry. If you have any complain feel free to ask, the one we don't know na hospital tins. If you have strength to finish one big container of Eva water, you can do scan but they might tell you no foetal heartbeat e.t.c so kukuma relax till 12weeks only if there's any problem (spotting or cramping). My hospital will chase you back home and ask you to come back when you're 12-16weeks gone for antenatal.

Booqee according to your LMP, your EDD is 27 February, you're 4weeks gone.

The mama with scan report, sorry i didn't remember to quote ur name. Five weeks is quite early. I feel there's nothing to panic about. Just eat well,rest well and above all pray well. If u get liver like me,u can redo it after 3weeks. At least by then,baby for don mature well and if u cant wait,go after the 2 weeks. God bless u

Hi Op, it is a possibility that you had already been sensitised following the miscarriage and it is also possible you are not. Like someone said above, there are other things that may cause miscarriage at 25 weeks.

What the doctor told you is right, if you had been sensitized, because RHOGAM does not work where sensitization had already occurred.
It is possible you are not sensitized.

I will suggest to see an Obstetrician who will carry out Indirect Coomb's Test (ICT) or more specific test like RHESUS ANTIBODY TITRE to determine if you are sensitized or not and then look for the cause of your repeat miscarriage

Thanks Dr im very grateful for your contribution. i have done the ICT Test thank God it came out fine ie Negative. i also carried out some other tests like sugar level. though its a bit high so the Dr said gestational diabetes may have caused it. i just hope all is well.

Sorry for your loss dear...Got preg at first with no idea abt dis blood group of a thing...d preg was terminated without d rhogam shot....got preg d second time nd had a missed miscarriage at 8 weeks...went for test,indirect coombs test, clothing factor etc d result of d test shows am not sensitised nd evryother tin was normal and i was given d rhogam shot. Am currently 4weeks preg again nd am hoping for d best. Am B negative
