it started around 28 weeks, but it stopped being frequent at 30 weeks. Not that it has finally stopped, it has just greatly reduced to like twice or thrice a day unlike when it was like 10 times in an hour.
Just relax dear. continue to rest and take a lot of water. Pele iya ibeji God is in control and we'll all carry to term with no loss

Mamas pls I have a question on babies birth weight at 27 weeks 3 days twin A weighed 1.2 while twin B weighed 1.1. I'll like to know if their is ok or small compare to their gestational age. Thanks

I'm 28 weeks and my stomach has been tightening and releasing after a while for like 2 days now and I just concluded it must be Braxton Hicks but it became frequent yesterday night that I had to see a doc this morning.
Now doc is admitting me for preterm contraction, pls help me understand this o cos I don't know why I'm contracting st 28 weeks. Been taking Ventolin tablets along side my routine drugs for a while now.

Hello teamie, sorry about that. I experienced it too like two weeks ago, I first thought it was braxton hicks but it became really intense last week and fortunately it was my ANC. I complained and my Dr said it could be preterm labour, and asked why I managed it for a week and didn't come to the clinic. I told him it wasn't painful that's why I didn't bother. He examined me and said I should just rest well and stay hydrated. He said I should drink water always and stay off all forms of stress. I feel better now sha.

May God strengthen you. you shall carry to term and there shall be no loss IJN. Stay strong

Ok so lemme complain a little.... this pregnancy has not been too nice for me. I thank God sha.

Fortunately no fibroid pains so far...30weeks

Had to have 2 teeth pulled, constantly had cough and cold......morning sickness....malaria......hmmph

So went for ante natal last Tuesday.....complained about some tightness in tummy and itchy vjay. ....got sent for test....

Malaria test came out neg....thank God. Dropped urine n vjay samples to collect result the next weeek.

Got home and started feeling the tightening more. It continued all night. Called my doc and she adviced me to come over that I might be contracting. Went in , got checked n it was confirmed ......was immediately admitted n treatment commenced. Antibiotics n all .....

Thursday my result was out. Got infection . My meds had to be changed...... was knocked out most of the time anyway (given sleeping things). Was discharged yesterday..... with strict instruction for bed rest .......with lots of medications .

They are praying I get to at least 32weeks since I had the last one at 33weeks. I know my God is still in the business of doing miracles...... I know I will surpass that 33 weeks and have a beautiful healthy n perfect baby girl in Jesus name.


I am already tired of staying at home

Goodmorning all i woke up very sad this morning not happy at all. Please mamas that carried pregnancy with fibroid how did you cope? the pain i felt all through last night i have never felt it before i was just crying, wailing and rolling on the bed. It started from church in the morning but last night was terrible i have never experienced it. With frequent urination every 2 to 5mins. I kept sipping on cold water i was confused.

My dh was just looking at me helpless to the extent that he said maybe we should terminate the pregnancy, do the fibroid operation and then conceive again... i told him God forbid that i will manage the pain for 9Months . Mamas what should i do as i am just starting i have not even entered 2 and 3rd trimester and the pain is this serious.

The doctor recommended paracetamol for me 2 in the morning, 2 afternoon and 2 at night but i have not started it pls is paracetamol safe at this stage?

Pls dont read and pass i need urgent help as i am still in pains. Sorry for the long post and any typo im not myself

I woke up feeling really excited because YES! we are at the last phase, third trimester. 28 good weeks, just like yesterday when the whole journey started. im super grateful to God for how far he has brought us and because he wont bring us this far to leave us.

I'm grateful for the moderate MS, and the trailer load of discomfort that 2nd trimester came with. From sleeplessness to hip pain, is it the numerous dysentery or swollen gum,spitting, waking up countless times to pee at night, or times when my anus will decide to have a mind of its own by popping out after visiting the loo, in fact a whole lot of show. Through it all,i rejoice because no pain no gain.

Despite the inconveniences, i wont even trade this experience for a million bucks. you need to see me smile like i won a lottery when my baby kicks. In all dear lord, i am GRATEFUL.

I also have so many fears oh lord,please allay them and give me hope that all is well. Let the remaining weeks be easy and grant me and all other mamas supernatural delivery like that of the Hebrew Women. Let our joy be full and make our testimonies complete and perfect .

I don't know why but God kept me.... help me thank God... travelled today, almost at my destination already in the town I was going... my bus waited for the traffic controller & a vehicle behind on high speed hit our bus from behind.. Exactly where I just shifted my body from, killed the traffic controller, rammed into cars on the other side of the road b4 finally crashing beyond repair... several casualties but thank God for my life... still like magic...

I'm 29w3d gone and I thought at dis stage constipation is a dominant sypmtom.Bt in my case,I've bn purging seriously.even when I take only water,I still purge it out.dis morning alone I've bn to d loo like 5 times already.i doon't know if its because I jus switched from pregnacare to d prenatals they gave me at ANC (folate n bco courtesy nhis). is dis normal or is it jus me feeling dis way? abeg make una chuk mouth put

sorry ma,i also had this purging issue. i was really bad, my Dr is always very careful with drugs prescription, he just told me to take flagyl when i poo more than three times a day but should try home remedies too. Like agidi ie eko, raw pap,garri and take cold things too. avoid rice,beans for now. You'll be fine ma. pele

sorry mama ibeji,i have been having leg ache too for like some weeks now,i complained at ANC and my DR said i should manage it that its part of the package,but when it becomes really unbearable,i should take PCM. it has relieved me now,or let me say it has moved to my hips now. you need to see how hurt my hips are when i lie on my sides. so i take time to turn of and it affects my sleep. But in All, im grateful for everything. God will surely see us through.

Thanks to all the wonderful mamas that replied me last night. im grateful. May we all have a blessed week

lets digress a bit.....

mamas, i have had serious problem shaving down there because of my growing Tummy and back ache,i can hardly bend. I use veet hair removal but i can hardly see what in applying and mirror hasn't helped me much. i don't like keeping a bushy below and im sure hubby wont really be cool with it too.

I spoke to my friend about it and she said her hubby does the shaving whenever she's pregnant and sometimes when he wants to indulge her. in her words" after all,its his workshop so he's always welcome there to do whatever he likes."
It sounds somehow to me asking hubby to shave me,dunno how he'll react sha if i tell him but its kinda funny.

so my question is,how do you mamas shave with ur bulging tummy and whats your take about hubby doing the shaving. Pls share your opinion. Thank u in advance.

People shall gather with us to celebrate. As many that see us with pregnancy shall see us carry and back our babies in Jesus name. We decree in the mighty name of Jesus that there shall be no loss of any kind in the house.

We remember our TTC mamas and pray that you Almighty God will answer their prayers and grant all their heart desires In Jesus Name.

Dear lord protect our homes from strange women,keep us in health and perfect all that has to do with us. let us enjoy your grace throughout this week and beyond.

In Jesus name, eternal King of glory,we thank you for the gift of life and all the miracles that you have done for us. we are eternally grateful for our husbands,children, family,wellwishers and loved ones,please accept our thanks and praises in Jesus Name. We cannot thank you enough for our businesses,career and everything you have put in our lives to make them beautiful, please accept our thanks and praises In Jesus Name.

Dear lord,we acknowledge ourselves as sinners and we come to your throne of mercy to ask for the forgiveness of our sins. The bible says if we say we have no sins, we are liars and the truth is not in us. father,we pray for the forgiveness of all our sins. please lord forgive us,blot out all our transgressions and write our names in the book of life. Grant us the grace to sin no more.

Father, we commit ourselves into your able care, please take good care of us and our babies. We pray for divine protection upon us and the babies,no weapon fashioned against us shall prosper In Jesus Name. We pray that our babies' growth, formation and development shall be perfect In Jesus Name. There lord firmly together, we say there shall be no loss whatsoever either of the baby,mother or father In Jesus Name. we plead the blood of Jesus over our lives and that of our babies in Jesus name.

On our delivery day,the lord shall perfect all that has to do with us,the mighty hand of God will direct the Doctors,nurses,midwives,attendants and everyone present to grant us the best care that suits us In Jesus Name.Everything shall work perfectly well for our good In Jesus Name.

We pray for as many that has suffers one loss or the other among us,please dear lord console them and grant them the fortitude to bear the loss. Strengthen them throughout this trying period and make them victorious at last In Jesus Name.

For all that have given birth, please watch over all the babies and let them continue to be sources objoy to their homes.

Oh lord, please remember all our TTC sisters and grant all their heart desires for good

This week is blessed and sanctified for our sake In Jesus name. We shall not be victim of circumstances in Jesus mighty name. Everything we lay our hands upon shall prosper.
