angelsboizzzz: am not an agent but reading what you said that northern cyprus is not a good place to study but let me ask a question, if as a student you work per hour and you are paid #3500 in nigerian currency as a foreigner and you work for just 12 hours in 2 days do you know how much you will be having? #84000. which ministry work do you know in Nigeria pays that amount ? except you wan to still government money bros. as for hardwork anybody don say make you push truck fro cyprus? anybody don tell you make u load bus? you don use the money wey you work buy fuel for gen make light dey your house? you don by candle read? men remember the country you are coming from cos is Nigeria students here in Nigeria can see 84k in two days while in school then Nigeria will have the happiest students in the world. or may be your papa na senator I am sorry to say but I feel you have not leave Nigeria b4. Getting paid that amount and the op said you pay rent in dollar and pounds. Think well. Paid that money and spend all on rent with additional racism and extra work. God will open ur way to go there and experience it. God bless you |
Travel › Re: Moving Back To Nigeria From USA by romefe: 8:04pm On Dec 08, 2017 |
May God bless you. We still have reach people in Nigeria. I have plans coming back as well if not for my family. For the one who want to go back home, plan very well and follow this advice. I use to think leaving abroad is the best but not always the case even when you are a citizen. Apart from Nigerians that are into illegal deal that make it easily. londoner: Op, plan your homecoming/ homegoing and don't be in a rush. The hardship others are experiencing you will most likely be able to side step for the most part. You have international qualifications and you are not poor.
Plan and make your way back when you feel you can. Go to Abuja first for a softer landing and surround yourself with people that have the same money or who wealthier than you. Stay away from the hungry, they are the dangerous ones imho.
You can also get a job lined up while you are in the US for international firms operating in Nigeria.
If you have your US citizenship you can always go back if you see the signs that you should leave Nigeria.
You have options which others don't. I would say move over in STAGES if you can. |

ivandragon: this is how some people continue to express their shortsightedness. clapping & praising at half truths & distorted lies.
the regime is bragging about inflows, but what about the outflows? & how has it helped improve the standard of living of Nigerians?
the regime gives with one leg & takes with both arms.
they 'promised' to pay 200,000 youths stipends, some retards praise them conveniently forgetting that 4.5m people have lost good paying jobs within one year.
they are celebrating the fictitious 1m tonnes of kebbi rice when a bag of rice is sitting pretty at over N20,000.
they point to absence of scarcity, when we are buying petroleum products at astronomical rates.
the are quick to shout victory over BH, then is it clowns that are killing our soldiers daily?
you beat your chest at anti corruption fight, yet no convictions or clear evidence of recovered funds.
you clap when the opposition is arrested for trumped up charges but wax philosophical when the regime turns a blind eye to its own corrupt members.
you brag about economic revolution, but look stupid when it is revealed that 18 months later, the regime has no economic direction...
bunch of nitwits... It don't comment on nairaland but I say may God bless you |
Family › Re: Do You Think Married Women Should Tender Their Salaries To Their Husbands? by romefe: 10:33pm On Oct 16, 2016 |
Cutehector: Nice comment hungerbad, you just spoke the truth.
I don't think a woman should tender her salary to her husband, even joint accounts pose a risk as well..
My opinion is the same as that of the Op's parents and they really did well in that video.
Thumbs up talk2bella. We love you. It depends. Most women will not want their husband to know there salary because they receive higher. What work for one family will not work for the other. If the man can tell his wife about all the money he makes there is nothing bad if the wife is also faithful. For me my wife help me do the savings because cash is more secure under her but that doesn't make me not to be the head. Presently because I no longer work outside the country, my wife do not know her online code. I will tell her when her pay enter her account. Men no woman will be free to release her money if she is not sure of your own sincerity or when she knows you have some other illegal activities. |

Today is my fourth year wedding anniversary and when I was back in Nigeria I don't even have a joint account but save all money in here account and I have not seen any reason to fear. First no the wife you have before you do it or not. I can spend everything without looking back but she will tell me you most save. Get the best wife and you will have rest of mind. |

massinola: Before the 2015 presidential elections, my Grandpa of the blessed memory hearing my friends and I argue over Buhari and goodluck, that was after we came back from the new year eve, where Fr Mbaka preached the sermon of goodluck to badluck, came out and these are his exact words "I'm not trying to question the man of God but.... opening his back.... do you see this marks on my shoulder? those are the marks from Buhari's soldiers when we were queuing to collect a sachet of milk. the only time we saw such suffering again in this country was during abacha's regime. this is the man you people said he's the only solution, OK oh shaa I know say I no fit live pass the one wey I don live. na una go still suffer am " he died March this year. see where we are now, suffering and deaths with only blames as excuses from our leaders. May is soul rest in peace. A friend of mine ask me for help but I bluntly refuse because he his among the people APC use to deceive many on nairaland. I told him if things go bad I will leave the country with my family but he now see me as a bad friend not buhari as bad president. Time run fast |

I have gone to different offices and different respond some say add her as a child which may lead to automatic disqualification but the lawyer said i will appeal which is where i will start paying mugu fee. My wife on the other hand is cry to have her come down because of the too much closeness delishpot: Ohhhh, I see. Was thinking it was a toddler like around 4-5 year old child. Hmn, I would go to the office responsible for any immigration and ask this question again if I were you. Get the story ready and pitch my case. Good luck. |
Travel › Re: Please Help With Advice On Adoption Process In Canada by romefe(op): 6:02am On Mar 02, 2016 |
The truth is i try to add her as a child and apply for her she will be denied automatically since nothing about her was mention in the application which can even lead to misrepresentation. Lawyers here will tell you no problem except the few good ones that why i am thinking of adopting. For issue of if is my daughter i cannot give you 100% answer but she have live with me all her life and her mum only see her once every 5years and she id 15 now. Thanks for your reply and hope for more delishpot: Does one addopt his own child? Abi is that the official term they use for bringing over any child? Maybe try adding her as family. Tell them you did not know about her existence cos the mom found out she was expecting after you two broke up and so she did not bother toblet you know until recently when economy became tough and she couldn't care as best she could for the child. And you and wifey in agreement with kids mom are willing and able to care for her. Make sure say na ya pikin O. Dem fit ask for DNA. |

irondome: I would say, don't take chances as those guys verify virtually everything; most especially if their SOP says the officer must verify. I believe you can endure 3 weeks without a car as they have relatively efficient transport system over there.
On the other hand, I am not sure if getting a Nigerian international drivers license would help for those 3 weeks. You may want to do your further investigation as to it's acceptance in Canada. Thanks |
