oyb: within the engineering dept where i work - only two of us have 2'1s
one is from delta, schooled in the east, and is the dumbest engineer you've ever seen. one time last year, during a meeting it was all about blasting him ( any 'sharp' dude can get a 2'1 - but the real world needs the ability that is supposed to come with it) Is he Dumb because he studied in eastern Nigeria or because he is Igbo? Or because the dumbest Nairalander labeled him dumb? His dumbness is questionable because you are the person that called him dumb, your own dumbness will not let you know if he's dumb or not. oyb: i have heard from more than one source that UNN professors grant engineering graduates 2'1s( unless they offend in a major way) to give them a competitive advantage. this may be why employers don't take the revered 2'1 that seriously anymore I have no respect for any Nigerian Engineer!! They are all craps!! So stop making noise about being an engineer with 2.1. You know no shit about engineering and you know i am right. Can you tell us about your final year project? |

Hahahahahaha. Tpia, Na so ohh. People like that can never see anything good in anything that isn't Igbo. They are the same ones who yab that Lagos and Yoruba people are very dirty. They are the same ones who use 'curled', when they should use 'culled'. I hope I don't come across too many of their posts before I begin to think like them and start detesting Igbo. Good eye Sista, I had ignored it, but glad you mentioned.
Off Topic:
Honestly, I am getting very tired of these Biafra touting boys who insult every tribe and are always the first to cry foul. Leave our Governor alone to do his job. There is yet to be any talk of Yoruba people being separated from the others as these areas are being cleaned up. Stop the tribalistic nonsense and leave all the people who love Lagos to worry about the welfare of Lagos.
"Eko o ni baje!!! Ko le baje layi layi. Awa la ma fi owo wa tun se fun ara wa" The person that wrote "curled" intead of "culled" is Yoruba boy called Damola. You ignored his name and rained abuses on Igbo people. He did not mention any ethnicity in his post to suggest he's Igbo or even Yoruba but you were warming up all day waiting for that chance to jumb on Igbo bashing band wagon. Are you educated at all? At your age you should know better. A topic that did not say "Igbo people" or anything close to that became another Igbo bashing thread by educated illiterates we have all over here. If you you are tired of Biafra you know what to do! bunch of inepts. You're so foolish!! An architect that did houses for top celebrities in USA is here asking Nairaland members if he can break into Nigerian market Are you sure u did any house at all for anybody there in the US? |

bawomolo: wow Nigerians would bring tribalism into every issue? this is similar to black americans screaming racism when black drug dealers are arrested. na wa o. are you animals just plain resistant to civillization. Is it the responsibility of government to compensate people for their illegal proceeds. You can't even use ur head to think? The person that u responded to is from your tribe. |

ezme: @themometer do you believe blood money rituals actually produce money? do you believe there are powers outside that of God? cos if u do,then u are having selective judgement . If people do rituals and actually get rich, why can't a person transform into a goat. Nigerian Police arresting a goat is hilarious fine. But if you say powers don't exist. Then face it you are all Yankee-wannabees,Feigning I'm all enlightened and don't believe this crap. Its 2009 fine, but lets don't come on nairaland pretending we are not Africans There is nothing like money rituals and people can not turn to animals. This is not rocket science. |

RichyBlacK: I have seen many puzzles in my life, but I must admit that the greatest of them is how anybody would believe that a human can change into a goat!
This is evidence of the battered state of the average Nigerian's psyche. The daily doses of fear and intimidation by the corrupt elite have finally invaded the minds of the intimated many. This fear makes the average Nigerian volatile, timid and enslaved in a cage of mental servitude. Even the police, are of the worst kind. Where is the redeeming factor in Nigeria? Why are so many people so foolish? How can people believe this kind of trash? Is it hunger? Is it drugs? Is everybody hallucinating in Nigeria? Why would the police believe such a ridiculous story? Oh, I forgot! People who think are not employed as police officers in Nigeria. Is it only drunk, pot-bellied, womanizing, crude, trigger-happy, brainless gawks that are employed as policemen? Believing in this sort of nonsense should be made a crime!
It is absolutely impossible for a human to turn into a goat! LoL |

I would have just pushed this language aside and stuck with english and spanish. Second off, NO the Igbo thread can't help me because I don't read Igbo so going there is like sending a chinese person to some arabic thread and expecting them to grasp it. Don't act like I don't ask for help when clearly if you go back pages into the Igbo thread, I was. And what happened?? Not much that is what happened. And the kind of corrections yall do, aint even constructive more on the grounds of "Holier then Thou" attitude. Spirit ko, sprite ni. Onyinye i want to be your teacher!! FBS: thats does not sound like a compliment or does it? Like i lied when i call them crazy and sick people , It woulda been an insult if i lied. FBS: Look, there is what we call expectation and there is result. These 2 are different. The best option is the combination of both and that is what is eluding Mikel. Yes he plays to instruction but this does not exactly help him. You saw his display last year in Ghana, is that the Mikel you know? Look, I am not saying he is overrated and that he should leave chelsea (don't mind all those saying that he should have joined MAN U, na their wahala be that). Age is on his side and this is the time for him to make the best of it. Most people writing here say what they hear from sports channels they watch!! brain washed brothers. |
Sports › Re: John Mikel Obi Is Far Overrated! by romeo(m): 10:29am On Jan 19, 2009 |
FBS: romeo, you dont have to insult anyone. This is a forum so just simple voice your opinion without insult.
Mikel is not a DM but AM in my opinion. Didn't you enjoy his defence splitting passes of 2005? now compare it to his side/backpass of now. He can do better than that. He is trying no doubt and has made some last minute clearance, but again, he can do better and at Chelsea. I dont think that he should leave. I did not insult anyone Brother!! It does not matter what position he plays at all, what matters is that he plays to his coach's instructions. He's an employee of chelsea and his teams wants him to do a specific job on match days. Who are we to change that? If he's not good they will put him on sale at 50% discount. Bad players don't play football in big clubs and mikel is playing. |
Sports › Re: John Mikel Obi Is Far Overrated! by romeo(m): 10:20am On Jan 19, 2009 |
Thank you very much Na.so . JJ okocha was a very talented player during his playing time. But he obviously was not playing according to instructions of his coaches. Dribbling every dick and harry to his delight but at the expense of his team, He ended up in hull city for his actions and not in Man U or Chelsea. |

All of una dey craze!! Mikel is not over-rated jorr. Bunch of internet soccer stars and coaches! Beer palour pundits!!
He can not hold ball for 3 second, he's an expert in back pass and side pass, he's not attacking, he's stays back for Terry during corner kicks etc. wtf? You're all this good technically while Rangers of Enugu and shooting stars are nowhere to be found continentally. You're all sick. that's my opinion |
